Good day Nairalanders, I bought a Toyota Camry, popularly knows as (Spider) about a week and 3 day's ago, and since then I'm spending close to 200k on fuel alone.

The next day after I bought the car, I bought 20k fuel for learning how to drive, before I could drive along the road to and fro 6 times, the fuel finished and the car stopped.

Since then I have been buying 20k fuel on a daily basis.

3 days ago I took it to a mechanic, they changed the nose, I don't know if I got that correctly, but I will attach the picture.

They changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, fuel Injector, and 0 two sensor plus others but yet the problem still persists.

Yesterday, after they finished working on it, the mechanics assured me that it'd work, but advised me to buy a good amount of fuel that it might be the cause of the problem, he said I should stop buying fuel of 20k downwards. So I bought 46,000 naira fuel to test it and I snapped the fuel kilometer reader on the dashboard, before I could drive anywhere the whole fuel finished in the middle of the road, I thank God I had some liter of fuel on a gallon that's on my boot, I brought it out filled my fuel tank and the car moved.

When I got home I checked my dashboard and saw that I only drove for 18km before the 46,000 naira fuel finished.

My younger brother Is saying that it's because of the recent cost of fuel that it might be normal, please expert in the house is this normal?

If it isn't, I'd be selling it and getting a Toyota Corolla. I'm so fed up.

The shock response I got from her was that she's not in a rush to settle down with me. Not even this year as she's just healing from the heartbreak I caused her and I can't use marriage to tie her down then I continue breaking her heart. There's no how I tried convincing her that I am a changed man now as I am ready to take responsibility and be a responsible person.

After few weeks, I logged into her whatsapp on my system and then again I found out that she's still talking to this guy and they were even planning on going out again. I got angry and send proof to her but guess what, my babe para for me for cloning her whatsapp on my system. Hell almost let lose that evening. This time around, she felt unapologetic about the primary issue that I warned her to desist from. Funny enough, after close observation, I learnt that they move their chats from whatsapp to Snapchat where their chat is just "view once". Right now, my babe is now comfortable with the guy and she's now sitting on defense about this matter. In our last conversation, my GF literarily told me that she doesn't love me anymore. You don't have a thermostat installed so your engine will take a longer time to get to operating temperature (if at all it gets there) . The cooling fans are 2, one for the usual cooling of the coolant in the radiator and the other to assist in cooling the condenser when using the ac.

So to be frank, Your radiator cooling fan is not coming on because your thermostat is not installed and your using ac is what forces them both to come on. THIS IS VERY BAD FOR YOUR ENGINE IN THE LONG RUN and you will be looking at replacing it in a relatively short time due to smoking and cylinder compression loss due to excessive sludge (i give you a maximum of 3 yrs to start seeing the smoke for aluminium engines) iron engines don't usually get affected by this issue as badly as aluminium engines do.

Solution? Go to a spare parts market, where your vehicle tokumbo engines are sold and pay for the dealer to remove a thermostat from a similar engine for sale and sell to you.
