I think Lev Parnas also knows Epstein was murdered because of something he knew as someone who frolicks with the wealthy like Donald Trump so he had to say all he knew regarding the Ukraine saga in order to stay alive.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D) alleged in December that fellow California Rep. Devin Nunes (R) conspired with Lev Parnas, a former associate of President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani, to undermine the United States. Parnas has pleaded not guilty to violating campaign finance laws.

Then a lawyer for Nunes, who is the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, sent a multi-page missive threatening to sue for damage to Nunes’s reputation, Lieu tweeted. The Democratic congressman replied with a letter of his own and posted a photo of the document online.

“I welcome any lawsuit from your client and look forward to taking discovery of Congressman Nunes,” he wrote. “Or, you can take your letter and shove it.”

On MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Friday, Lieu doubled down. “It turns out that based on text messages in the record and the amazing interview on [MSNBC’s] Rachel Maddow Show that I’m right,” he said. “Truth is a defense.”

Lieu, Nunes and Steven Biss, the attorney who said he was representing Nunes in the letter tweeted by Lieu, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday night.

The squabbling is an unusual escalation of a clash between members of Congress. Although Nunes has shown himself to be litigious, his lawsuits typically target news organizations, Silicon Valley technology companies and, once, members of his own constituency.

Critics of Nunes’s defamation claims have said they are meant to stifle free speech on public issues. More than half of states have statutes intended to safeguard residents’ First Amendment rights in the face of these legal claims, called strategic lawsuits against public participation, but levels of protection vary.

A few hours later, an interview with Parnas aired on MSNBC. Parnas claimed that Nunes was “involved” in pressuring Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. “He knows who I am,” Parnas said of Nunes.

House Democrats on Friday released text messages between Parnas and Derek Harvey, an aide to Nunes, showing that Nunes’s office knew about the efforts in Ukraine and wanted to use the information that Parnas sought.

War veterans all over the United states have begun rallying each other to commence a resistance against Trump and to ensure they vote him out come November. So far the response has been huge and growing.

They believe that Trump is a traitor and not loyal to the constitution of the United states. This was made worse when it was revealed the way and manner Trump Addressed the military generals during one of their security meetings.

He said and i quote " YOU ARE A BUNCH OF DOPES AND BABIES AND LOSERS, I WOULD NOT GO TO A WAR WITH YOU PEOPLE BY MY SIDE"

This is very disrespectful and the war veterans find this in bad taste. So the call for Love of Country has begun and Trump is being seen as a DOMESTIC ENEMY.

It looks like the backlash against Donald Trump for the ill-advised, ill-informed, and ill-timed assassination of Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian Quds Force General whose death has sparked an insurgency against US foreign policy in the Middle East the likes of which we haven’t seen in decades, runs much deeper than he could have possibly anticipated.


Then again, the world is not quite sure that Trump actually anticipated anything.

From reports that Trump is single-minded in simply capturing or killing high-profile targets, rather than those that might pose the most threat or whose removal might disrupt anti-American intelligence most efficiently, to the historical record of former American Presidents weighing the value of Soleimani’s death against the insurrection that might ensue, over and over Trump has shown that the pernicious effect of power amassed through fealty and intimidation has corrupted his very decision-making process.

Indeed, it has corrupted the office of the presidency.

Now our oldest and most loyal ally, the United Kingdom, is indicating that they too are experiencing second, third, and fourth thoughts about working with the imprudent and impertinent Trump. Although the UK’s new leader Boris Johnson may share a number of traits with Trump — he is certainly a racist and even has almost the same unruly flaxen rat’s nest atop his Cro-Magnon skull — political definitions around the world differ subtly from the US.

In short, over there, “conservative” doesn’t necessarily mean “reactionary and stupid.”

But now Johnson’s Defence Secretary (don’t complain about the “C,” those guys invented the language and can spell things how they like) Ben Wallace has admitted openly to the British press that Trump makes him lie awake at night, worrying about the future of the partnership between the two nations. Wallace has even recommended buying future equipment that would obviate the UK’s reliance on US air cover and spy planes.

I worry if the United States withdraws from its leadership around the world. The assumptions of 2010 that we were always going to be part of a US coalition is really just not where we are going to be.”

The trepidation about the US-UK alliance comes on the heels of Prime Minister Johnson distancing himself and the UK from the Soleimani killing, calling it an escalation in which “terrorists would be the only winners.”

Now the UK is looking for alternative international allies, and that’s likely a smart move. Trump’s impetuous stance toward being the world police — but only in return for mercenary-like payments to the United States — is exemplified in his public statements about Saudi Arabia paying for troops and his ongoing insistence that countries around the world “owe” the United States something in return for security assistance rendered in the past on the basis of coalitional goodwill.

Wallace even referenced Trump’s open threat to withdraw from our alliance with the UK if PM Johnson’s government continued to pursue its plan to let Chinese tech giant Huawei play a role in building Britain’s 5G network — a military threat in exchange for economic compliance.

That’s what dictators do, and as ironic as it is that Britain is technically still a monarchy, they don’t seem especially interested in doing further business with a unitary executive.
