The Governor should have spent a night in Rann . If the government is giving a medal to soldiers in the Northeast, I will suggest they give two medals to soldiers who served and are serving in Rann. A town that when the raining season commence you will have no vehicular access in and out of Rann for four months. Every civilians and soldiers stockpile their essential commodities during this period.

I remember when one of my military friends had his wedding during the raining season. He had to trek on foot with some soldiers and CJTF as his guards for 15 kilometers to a Cameroon border town called Boddo or Bosso for the Nigerian troops there to convey him to Gamboru. I praised his Gallant colleagues who took such a risk moving on foot in such a terrain to guard their boss and return back on foot.
