shizzle11: Lol @ Error Pointer.... good to know you two are coping well grin

But that wasn't the only reason why she 'threw everything away'. Maybe you missed this

tongue
Lol...I get your point. I wasn't even referring to her experience. Just saying you can't "throw" away a good person or good qualities because of bad English.

Eminado01: grin The bolded is nobody's fault. This is exactly what happens when you go to a country like Germany for instance, you might have been a champion in English language in Nigeria, but you find yourself in a country where English language is more or less, totally useless. Since English isn't my first language, a generous part of it fizzled away...
You are right. I used to be bothered about such things before but I've come to realize that people are different and have had different experiences.

If you don't like the person, you'd be embarrassed many times. But if you do, it gets to a point that you really don't care.

But sha, it's good to speak well cheesy Some guys speak so well that you can't help but smile at the movement of their lips.
RomanceRe: Ladies, What Would You Do? by Caracta(f): 7:38pm On Dec 15, 2013
alutacontinua: Do you guys ever have to be with other people, like your friends or something.
How do you handle the situation?
He has this kind of confidence I don't understand. Our friends laugh and he'll be like, "Idiots, you only speak English, I speak 4 foreign languages and you are laughing at my errors." He is a sanguine. You just can't help but like him. He has a funny accent too. I was at a wedding with him recently and he was invited for the toast, come and see English cheesy
RomanceRe: Ladies, What Would You Do? by Caracta(f): 6:40pm On Dec 15, 2013
I'm presently in this situation. The guy is a very good friend and just relocated to Nigeria few months ago. He wasn't really like this when he left so I wonder what happened.

He doesn't speak well but I've never laughed at him. If I don't understand his point, I would mention it and he would explain. He talks a lot, I point out few corrections jokingly and we are cool. He is intelligent, kind and fun to be with. Why throw all that away because of his bad English? He is improving and calls me his EP (Error Pointer). cheesy

Now that she has had an abortion, what next? Suicide? Or do you have a cleansing blood in your system? Do you want a PM from her? What exactly is your point? I do not support abortion. I have never been in support of it. But this particular one has been done already. Thanks for the sermon. Apology accepted cheesy

arcbabe: people don't waste their time working for a particular company, sweating and killing themself while one person at the top will be feeling bossy with his fat butt and small head grin make you money and get out of there to start your own. That lady the OP is talking about is probably building a house by now. When you eat make sure your employees eat too so they won't end up punishing you but people are just so selfish undecided
shocked shocked shocked

Egba girl: Honestly, nairaland is only a microcosm of Nigeria. Smh very embarrassing and disappointing.

The people that cry "corruption" are the same ones practicing and encouraging it. We never see anything yet.
It's shameful. There is no hope for Nigeria. We made Nigeria what she is today...not just the politicians.
BusinessRe: Watch Out For Scammers At Shoprite (ikeja) by Caracta(f): 2:26pm On Dec 15, 2013
funkybaby: You seriously need to shut it.

People doing similar jobs (and worse) in malls in Europe get paid minimum wage (which is peanuts) while their bosses earn hundreds of thousands and declare huge profits every year. Yet, you do not find such people stealing from their bosses or expecting tips from customers.

You need to change your entire orientation and outlook to life/career.

If your type gets a bank job, there's a 99percent chance that you will carry out a bank fraud if you have the slightest opportunity.
God bless you! Did they force them to take up the jobs? That's why some people will remain as slaves till they die. Karma is a sêxy bïitch!

I'll tip a cashier because I want to not because she feels it is her right. These people will be the first to call politicians thieves.
BusinessRe: Watch Out For Scammers At Shoprite (ikeja) by Caracta(f): 2:22pm On Dec 15, 2013
arcbabe: they think they are wise? They employ people to stand and attend to customer from morning to night and end up paying them peanuts. They don't know they are going to suffer too cheesy
Are you for real? I've been reading your comments. Oh God!!! Is there still hope for this country? This is heart-breaking! People like you make stealing a profession. Honesty is a virtue.
HealthRe: Her Bosom Secretes Milk But She's Not Pregnant by Caracta(f): 2:00pm On Dec 15, 2013
I blame the Nigerian educational system. There are different reasons for abortion, even for married couples. But some people are quick to judge. That's why many people die in silence and will never share their past experience.

@topic, ask the girl in question. There's a possibility she has a baby or had an abortion recently or it could be an infection.

Ezegozie: Abortion=murder

Don't soil your hands in it
Who died and made you Jesus? Now that she has had an abortion, what next? You want to un-abort the baby? Or you want to keep flogging the lady? Like Jesus said, "Let He who is without sin be the first to cast a stone."

Your holier-than-thou attitude stinks to the high heavens. Who made you the judge and jury over this case? Pls leave the lady alone.
