You have mentioned some of the reasons too. Some bloggers can be very annoying. They want to promote their blog using whatever means. Sometimes you open a thread because of the title only to finf out that a blogger was only playing pranks on you. Misleading title, annoying reference to read full story on a blog, suffocating adverts, fabricated stories, etc.
