ComputersRe: Cyber-theft Prompts Search For Nigerian Bank IT Worker by Caracta(f): 6:59am On Sep 17, 2014
Lovexme: If staffs are well-paid and taken good care of by their employers, employees wouldn't do such. Unless, of course, man's insatiable hunger for more money.

The dude probably emptied the bank's account, and that's pretty ruthless.
People who get paid 1m per month still steal. It's not about money, it's about greed.
ComputersRe: Cyber-theft Prompts Search For Nigerian Bank IT Worker by Caracta(f): 6:57am On Sep 17, 2014
OLAplusONE: Even if the theft was done on a sunday sef, don't they have daytime security men working on ground, I think there are many people involved in this saga. But really that's a hell lot of money. Alert don enta...LOL
Security men work outside the banking hall so thy need not suspect their 'oga' who comes every now and then to work on weekends just like any other member of staff.

However, this guy isn't the only criminal here. Too big a task to be covered up by one person.

FashionRe: Ladies: Can You Attend Events Without Makeup? by Caracta(f): 10:32pm On Sep 16, 2014
For the past 3 years, I've not worn makeup to church or family events. Just my powder and some lip balm (depends on the weather).

What exactly is makeup? The eyeliner, blush, mascara, concealer, etc? I see girls without makeup almost everyday. My direct boss won't even use a lip balm...very pretty lady.

FamilyRe: Fairy Tales Our Grand Parents Told Us by Caracta(f): 7:24am On Sep 15, 2014
My grandmother doesn't even know me and my grandfather died before I was born.

Fairly tales I heard was told by my elder brother. He told me tales as we gazed at the moon, especially about the tortoise and a certain rich man. We would count the stars and name the ones we counted. I mean real names like Richard, Bimpe, Kenny, Emeka, etc. The next night, we would shout In excitement and go, "Bimpe! Bimpe!! Bimpe!!!" and wave like there was no tomorrow.

But really, what were we thinking?

Officially 18 and 22. Then the last one was a "change of hands". The assistant health prefect had an ailment that prevented her from functioning effectively. A replacement was needed and that fell on my shoulders.

I was President of the Press Club so it was easy to switch roles. I simply made news out of games, health and classroom. Viola! Job done. cheesy
Nairaland GeneralRe: Things I Love About Nigeria.. by Caracta(f): 10:43pm On Sep 13, 2014
Rubbish!

Myopic thinkers. Have you visited all states in Nigeria? Yes we are not there yet but we appreciate little progress here and there.

I don't experience constant power failure in my area and network services usually have ups and downs...weather, distance and maintenance factors.

As for corruption, Nigeria isn't the only corrupt nation. Not been the worst.

I don't blame you though. Our leaders have filled your mouth with words with their unprofessional practices. Now every foreigner is taking a chunk out of us.

Rubbish!

APC internet warriors you mean? The ones that flex muscles online and blow their keypads up just to make a point?...

We are yet to feel them in real life. All words, no action.

Give them some chocolates and let them rest.

CrimeRe: Nigerian Man Arrested For Abducting And Molesting A Woman In The U.S. by Caracta(f): 1:14pm On Sep 12, 2014
In a certain part of the world, touching a woman or staring at her strangely is termed "molest".

Who knows? He could be innocent...going by the testimony of people that know him. On the other hand, he could be guilty. The quiet ones could be more dangerous than the mean-looking ones.

Ogbeni, you don enter one chance!

Police report says Okorie grabbed the woman
from behind near a gas station on Saturday night,
grabbed her cellphone and pushed her into nearby
bushes where he sexually assaulted her. Reports
states that Okorie then dragged the girl to his
home where another intimate assault took place.
Issokay. What a story! Nearby bushes and his home kwa? How many times? Hmmmm.

FrancisTony: I don't hate yoruba. I still got lot as a friend.

You know that tribal trolling on Nairaland is fun. grin

BTW, I stated the obvious at the 'Original Post' or was I blunt? undecided
Tribal trolling is immature and foolish. That's my opinion though.

Not blunt...just made no sense to me. I feel that way about generalizations. Don't mind me.
