NIL isn't necessarily lucrative for all athletes though. Debbie not also being American and not having the necessary star power to leverage on ours her at a disadvantage to land personal deals. If she's patient however, she should get enough to see her through her college program. On how long she had left? She got announced last year so it really does depend on her. If she takes summer classes then she can finish her program in 3 years. That's what Kiki Iriafen that enabled her finish her engineering program in 3 years with Stanford.
...I know N.I.L is not the same for all athletes and she not being American also might be a disadvantage, however, at all at all, she gets to send some coins home and the pressure might not be as bad as not having anything, also if she has a good Olympics, that would also help her profile better.

I listened to One of Randy Podcasts this afternoon where he talked about the Pitts Program, Preparation For the Olympics and getting a Video Assistant Coach to join them for the Olympics..

He also talked about how difficult it’s for them to Keep Deborah Abiodun right now as her agent have been dropping good good offers for her from several top Clubs…, But he said Deborah mind now is getting a Degree that those Clubs have to Wait for her..!
....Good to know that Deborah is already getting good offers, the good thing is N.I.L deals will make it easy for her to get her degree once and for all before going pro. How many more years does she have left to complete her degree program?

You’re spot on, especially on your last paragraph. With the current uproar over CC’s omission, there is NO way (aside from injury) CC won’t make the plane to Los Angeles 2028..
....for real, it is most likely injury that will make them drop CC, or some other issue that is not basketball related, maybe child birth or something like that....

So, for the umpteenth time, Arike Ogunbowale was SNUBBED by the USA Basketball for a Summer Olympics…

Even if she decides to switch to Nigeria, her long association with USA Basketball senior program may be a hindrance to achieving the switch.
...also the mess going on with the federation can put some players off...Anyway, i wish her well for real, we would have used that talent of hers to the max.

..........I feel Arike never thinks she is Nigerian, it is we Nigerians that hear her name, and be like that is our girl. She hardy reps us, it is when we really do something big that she kind of makes a comment, i remember her asking for a Nigerian jersey from Asisat Oshoala when we defeated Australia during FIFAWWC. Meanwhile, the Ogwumikes sisters are ever repping, Nneka was still repping a few days back, Micheala too. Micheala has Nigerian on her bio on insta and i remember her being at one of the jollof derby organized in the states between Nigerian and Ghanian dessents a few years back. I wish her well, however, she might never make the U.S olympics squad, because, C.C might be taking her spot in 2028. Arike was snubbed now, she might be snubbed again then for the likes of C.C.

The Wingback formation looks okay to contain them in 1st half. Then switch to the other 433 or 4213 with JOE playing behind the 3 attackers. With this discovery, e go pain me if Ify doesn't make it. I doubt Ihezuo will have much of a presence with Spain. Probably Esther.

We need 4 friendlies at least to see how they'll merge. Syncing might change how we imagine them shaping up.
...one or two friendly is okay o, remember how players from different countries were picking injury left, right and center prior to FIFAWWC. It was alarming. The window for players to recover is so thin, hence we should make their health our number 1 priority. We can't afford our players picking injury

We also do have a little advantage with our Wingers as they’re good at doing defensive works too,..

Ihezuo can press very well too as she’s Quick & Physical

4-2-3-1
Nnadozie
Alozie or Okeke - Ohale—Demehin - Plumptre or Okeke
Ayinde—Ucheibe
Ajibade—Payne—Kanu or Babajide
Ihezuo or Okoronkwo

Or 3-5-2
Nnadozie
Demehin — Ohale — Plumptre or Okeke
Alozie - Ayinde—Abiodun—Ucheibe—T Payne
Ajibade— Ihezuo
..Will Plumptre and Demehin be back and be at their best, before Olympics, Olympics is less that 2 months...

Going to the Olympics I believe if Randy is to pick 6 Forwards… 4 spot look certain with 2 open to battle for between the rest!

These are the top4 Picks
1• Asisat Oshoala
2• Rasheedat Ajibade
3• Uchenna Kanu
4• Esther Okoronkwo

The remaining 2 Spot to be battled for between these 4 Forwards.. If I were Randy I will go with the 1st two below though considering their form and what they could bring to the attack..

1• Rinsola Babajide
2• Chinwendu Ihezuo
3• Ifeoma Onumonu
4• Monday Gift

But again I see a more like Chinwendu Ihezuo Vs Ifeoma Onumonu kind of battle for a spot..
Babajide and Ihezuo might just get the last two spots.... However,Randy will have weeks(maybe 3weeks) to assess due to camping, compared to the players just coming around during FIFA window...

99 days to go until #Paris2024 begins! 🇫🇷🤩

Which match are you looking forward to the most? 🙌
.....Honestly want to see all the matches, however, i honestly believe, we have all it takes to make it to the quarter finals atleast. I sincerely believe we can make it, i have not seen the bracket though, i believe if we can get second in our group. then there is a possibility for making semi-finals based on the thought process that the 2 best losers will play the 2 group winners, which are usually harder opponents, if we make second in our group, we get a better match up for quarter finals, where anything can happen.

I was pleasantly surprised how the likes of Okeke, Alozie and Ucheibe were able to match her stride for stride and in some cases, outpaced her on 50/50 balls.
Our defenders deserve more credit for their speed. Impressive.
... Absolutely, there were a few times in that 1st leg that,it became a serious foot race between Ucheibe and Kgatlana, Thembi did not win the race, Ucheibe just muscled her of the ball a few times.

More like Thembi Kgatlana performance against Nigeria

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs-BRSFwsik?si=awYo7I2bSi_HApIT
...South Africa's modus operandi over the years is simple, kick to the flank, let thembi chase, that way they will catch the opposing team out of position, hence scoring from it. The thing is,this present Nigerian team is a lot younger that the team that went to WAFCON,hence they do catch up to the South Africans easily.

They Couldn’t play their usual Passing Football as the Zambians were full of running and throwing a lot of Physical challenges at them which did worked against them, they tried Competing but some of their players got injured and tired.. even Fatima Tagnaout became useless in the game..
.. Honestly, they could not, they tried to compete for awhile, however,as the game went on,the Moroccans slowly wore out...

..I get,I just have a feeling that if such arise, Rashidat or Toni might be over the ball looking for a connecting header, let's try some "Roberto Carlos" for a minute...That Ashley's cracker against England that hitted the post lives rent free in my head.

..Yeap, even Zogg, Jennifer. At the time we played those friendlies, Waldrum will look for good talents that can easily travel(dual citizenship), without visa restrictions..

...I think Ashley should be taking our free kicks if it is close to the box 18,has she is the one I know that has a canon like this in that her left foot.
Deltamani, Basco...what do you think about Ashley, rocketing 🚀 such ball towards the opposing keeper. As regards Bayana Bayana,...well..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...They won one WAFCON and do not know how to act again...just be blabbing up and down..

I was expecting Morocco to keep the ball and play Passing game but no they played into the hand of Zambians by going toe-to-toe with time in terms of pace and Physicality, why not Play Passing game and starve them of the ball…

Let’s see how the second half plays out.
..I get you, however,it seems it is the Zambians that is not giving them that opportunity to hold on to the ball and play their passing game, let see if they will be able to do that in the second half.
