Religion / Re: Can God Lead You To Someone You Don't Love In Marriage? by carechoji(m): 12:06pm On Oct 17, 2006
My dear friend, God cannot lead you to someone you done love to marry.

I know of many situation where we have to pray to ask God to choose a life partner for, on no occassion did God choose for us or give someone we dont love.

You may say that, even as you pray, God shows you a life partner and at the end that person change, let me say something here, may on the process of your prayer, all you are after is that partner which you finally settled down with or could it be that, you relationship was build on a falls foundation, everyone of you pretending to be good while it is not, and at the end, instead of waiting on God's chosen one, you decided that that partner is the true and only one that is good for you.

My friends it is our choice to choose and not God, we only present our situation to God to guide and help us decide. He may give you the choice to choose from many, but He will never say marry A and not B. or Marry C and live the rest no.

Mind you, marriage is not a bed of roses, no matter how good the partners (couples) are, definetly one way or the other they are bound to face problem in their married life.

Lets pray that God help us in choosing for ourselves the right people to spend our lives with.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 1st Class And 2.1 Is The Best Grade. 2.2 Is God's Grace Anythng Else Ur On Ur Own. by carechoji(m): 1:15pm On Oct 06, 2006
Being a 1st class does not mean that you know it all, but rather I look at it the other way round.

Because I have 2 or less does not mean that I cannot perform in any given job, but rather I should be proud and happy, for once I have graduated not as a paying student to be graduated but as a stduent whose effort did not go in vain.

You may have the GPA that you think is the best, but keep it in mind that, you are still learning and mind you, we have those who completed primary seven and can still perform at their workplace than the graduate who only think of their take home pay and nothing more.

Paper qualification is what Nigeria is after, and notexperience, pls, can someone tell me how are we going to make it.

It is not God grace my friend, because God has destined us and dont be surprise, you and your first grade you may not get employed pr even looked upon, but those with the common grade as you may say, will be looked upon as king.

Our peoblem in Nigeria today, is small and can be treated, only if when we learn to appreciated what we have and do.

How about that, Think about.
Religion / Re: What Did You Learn At Church Today? by carechoji(m): 1:23pm On Jul 10, 2006
I learned many thing in the church, which are
; -

Love
Sharing
Helping the needy
Patients
Learning to trust and to forget and forgive

As God teaches us, we should always be considerate and to show care to others that needed it most.

In God's word, He teaches us that when one fall, we should not go without helping, but we should help him, but in our todays world, when one falls, we always laugh, talk about it and even enjoy to his fall. How can we succeed when are not doing the right thing at the right time to please God, so that He migght here us from heaven and healed our land.

In Corithians we learn about love, that it is patient, it never judge, and it never ask the question why, so why cant we do something that is worth doing, than what is not worth doing.

It is a question of life and reality and there is no two way about it.

Think GOD in all that you do and you will always succeed.

GOD IS LOVE THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A WHILE [img][/img] and he will surely do something good for you

Religion / Re: Is It Biblical For Christian Women To Wear Trousers? by carechoji(m): 12:35pm On Jul 10, 2006
Dear All,

As a christian, it is believe that, our body is the temple of the Holy spirit, and it is with that that we are to note that, anything that will degrade the value of our body is uncalled for. The wearing of trousers is not allowed only where the person in question wear it to seduce, to attract attention and in the Bible it is not allowed for a woman to wear trousers.

Lets look at our todays world, and the church, the way it has been turned to, ladies wearing trousers which one can almost see their unclothedness, starting from the top to the bottom. let me ask one question, if you as a lady not married and you are into wearing such dresses, tell me what will you fellow man think of you as a lady and what respect will the people you claim to worship God with will look at you. though it is said that the outwardness of our body doesnt matter but what is conceived inside is what matters.

But, we ought to know that, it is what we give out that determine our inwardness.

To me, it is not proper in any case for a woman (women) to wear trousers to the church as it is expected that she shouyld cover her body as the temple of God is to be made Holy.

We should not change our religion to move with the recent trends in the world, it is not good and it should not be encourage, and if I do that for the male friend to notice me, they will only notice you because you have a beautiful body to have sex with and after using you, it is all over, as they will fool you by saying that the Holy spirit lead them to you.

Romance / Re: How Do You Know When Your Man Is Cheating On You? by carechoji(m): 12:06pm On Jun 05, 2006
If I was a woman, I will not border myself to know whether my man is cheating on me, thefact is that, since I know he is cheating on me, confronting him wouldn solve the problem but rather bring more problem, what I will do is to commit him into prayer and the rest is left for God to take charge of it. It is not my responsibility to judge him, but to also encourage him the more to stop going out with other women.

May be the question i should ask myself is this, what am I doing that is making him go after another woman, am I a problem to him, am I disconforting him or am I not appealing to his own liking.

I believe with this and many more questions, a woman doesnt need to go chasing after her husband in beer parlours, restaurants and joints for him to come to her, he will for himself start chasing her, because he sees in her what other woman have and that alone will not aloowed him to go after other women.

But above all, God has the answer to all that.

TV/Movies / Re: Nigeria Movies: What Do You Want To See? by carechoji(m): 2:20pm On May 23, 2006
smiley

I would like us to understand something, that it is one thing to produce afilm and it is a different thing to make it worthy of watching.

Nigerian films so they say, but to me I will rather call them Nigeria Drama in film clothing.

Ever since the era of Nigerian film began, many things need to be done in order to make the drama(film) more entertaining.

I dont know if it is possible for one to produce a film within a month, or is it because we are in the computer era, that makes Nigerians to be different in film (drama) production?

One seem to wonder how and when and where they do their final editing and also processing, I hope it is not done in an ordinary TV station studio, because if that is what is been done, then I will say, they should sit up or else forget about it.

One other thing that I will like them (the) producers of the so-called films to do is to take a field trip to any country like south africa, america to learn the art of film making.

because what I watch, cannot be quanitify to a quarter movie, because there are many lapses like, audio quality, edit, actors behaviours in the film, film quality and effects, background usage, the use of beautifully desinged house from the outside and the inside is nothing to right home about.

who are they fooling, the watchers or thereselves, certainly not the watchers, because at end of the day, they are only after making money and not entertaining.

The worst part of the drama is rituals, killing of people for money making, evil activities and others, who are they portraying, Nigeria or their own image of film production to get money.

My dear nigerian actors, you still have a long way to go, than to sit, our producers, they need to sit up, because time is fast running out their side, we should be thinking of producing films that are equivalent or those that have 3D effects, animated effects, good audio quality, good background, using good and beautiful structures.

Without this, I will like to state here that, in the future, they will no longer be able to produce their drama because of the poor quality, if we really want to stop foreign films from getting into our country, then this is the right time.

Instead of producing film in a month, we rather take our time, even if it means taking half of the year, or even a year, we should have a good and quality studio for our editing, film quality, pictures, sounds effects, background and the most important of all is the camera's.

mentioning names wound do us any good, because I have a dozen of them.

They should be thinking of using digital cameras and not ordinary studio camera or camcorder as used in Kano, also the needed equipments should be on ground before any production, I want to believe that is why we have a film village in some of the states in Nigeria e.g. Jos.

I want our producers to take their time and do our country proud, forget about selling it, but selling it more qualitative is worth the money.

I want to see a movie that is attractive, straight to the message, no part 1, part2, part3 to part 20 again, if we are doing it lets do it the best

Politics / Re: Stepping Into The Mind Of Obasanjo by carechoji(m): 12:57pm On May 15, 2006
We are all witness to what is happening in today's Nigeria, a country that is about to be taken to the last and final journey of the people by the President, who only thought of himself at a moment than any other person.

Obasanjo, who was considered a hero by handing over to a democratically elected civilian president is not on the verge of not making a history, but trying to create problem and confussion in the land.

I want to believe that Mr. President is blinded by power and will not want to step down because he also want to be a dictatorship. Many hard times did we pass in the past, and many hard times awaite us in the future if he wins or continue or if the house agreed on tenure enlogantion.

We have faced many crisis ranging from unemployment, political crisis, religious crisis , health problem and many others during the past 7 years, and stil we have not learned, we are calling on the president to continue.

My question is this, do we want him to continue to bring the untold hardship on our people or we want him to continue because some of the people will now be going home with ghana must go back, or we still want to have an increasing number on unemployment rates and also more crisis or turning Nigeria into a war turn country because of the selfish interest of some individual.

I believe the only way to stop this is to start recalling some of opur leaders are bend on saying that Obasanjo should continue and rather Obasanjo should have a rethink of his interest and step down honourably than be forced out of office.

The people must have a say, there decision counts as they are the most affected in the society.

let us say no to Mr. President and No to Third term as it will not bring anything good but problem to us.

he must not continue, as whoever comes in will definitely want to extend his tenure, who knows 4 term, 5term, 6term , any number of term.

Religion / Re: Speaking In Tongues: What's That All About? by carechoji(m): 12:23pm On May 15, 2006
I want to believe that, speaking in tongues is not something that we should play with, as a christian, I strongly believe that we should respect that, even though it is gotten from the old testament, it shopuld be noted here that, it is the Holy spirit at work and not man or human power we may say.

The Holy spirit came down upon the apostles and they began to preach in different tongues which they do not know about, but then at the same time, they reach many people with the word and many were reach and they turn to christ.

But in today's world, the christians so much believe that you can speak in tongues as and when you want, without the Holy spirit guiding you to do so. Some began to speak in tongues immediately they start praying and others in the middle of the prayer session, some with words that you cannot understand and others with words that sound similar.

As it was in the bible so shall it be in the physical.
Let us not be fools and let us not be lead by wrong spirit, let us allowed the spirit to guide whenever we are praying, because God's word should be taken for granted and neither His prayers be taken as a joke.

Thank you

Religion / Re: Separation Of 'Muslim' And 'Christian' Sections Under 'Religion' by carechoji(m): 1:12pm On Apr 19, 2006
I believe what we need to do is to create an enabling environment where we will both make each other to understand that we serve the same God but under different religion. bringing the two religion wont work but lets us try to cultivate the habit of enduring with each other and stop using ones religion for creating problems
