It's a pity this happens in most part of the country.

The worst is how they harass all red plate no vehicles of small SMEs all over the nation.

The very small companies providing upto 80% of employment in Nigeria.

The governors used this same jobless thugs and touts to win elections by engaging in voter harassment and suppression.

And after elections, the govs pass ridiculous laws to send these rogue's to the road to settle themselves.

The worst of them is in Anambra ( onitsha), Delta ( Asaba, warri) Abia ( Aba) and Kano

A while back, a man gave me pepper soup powder spice to deliver for him.

He was someone I trusted. But I had to open the nylon and turn the spice with spoon 30 times. Then used a generous quantity to make goat meat pepper soup.

Preventing is better than cure.

Am a Christian and am in the north.
Come to zamfara and Katsina or borno and yobe and see.
Every day soldiers and police are battling this bandits, I swear every blessing day.
Is either they kill security personnel or bandits everyday.
Do you know that in bama alone, a mere local government in borno state has more than 1000 soldiers?
When ever you want to talk get the facts first.

Una never see anything for that north.

Continue giving birth anyhow and multiplying poverty.

There are about 12m out of school children in Northern Nigeria now.
It's also palpable that ur regional leaders are doing nothing about it. But to be looting the treasury arrogantly just like their counterparts in d South.

In about 10yrs time, you guys are gonna have more bandits to contend with from the pool of these our of school children.

I have lived most of my life in the North and I can tell that as a northern xtian ur understanding of Nigerian political issues now is just appalling.

In short Apst suleiman is not ur problems and actually said the truth in his post.

unfortunately, there is no Igbo man in the top ten list.
You are grossly ignorant and naive.

The real description of how wealthy a people are is never GDP but GDP per capital.
Igbos are about the wealthiest tribe in Nigeria because many of them have financial knowledge and independence, even without going to school.

Haven't you heard about the igbo apprenticeship system - IAS, recently accepted by Harvard business reviews.
A system that have consistently over the yrs churned out entrepreneurs in millions and helped to bridge the gap between the rich and d poor in South Eastern Nigeria.

Infact, it's only a fool that'll believe that the Northern political feudal Lords, corner power and resources to actually empower the thier people and not themselves.

The North will never get out of endemic poverty unless they become actively productive and control thier population like China and India did. It doesn't matter how long they hold on power.

Don't you know that Northerners are actually becoming poorer under Buhari than Southerners.
Even when they decide to horde thier food from the South, they are even becoming poorer. Having lived most of my young and adult life in the North, I know.
So stop deceiving yourself.

I BE CONFIRM IGBO MAN AND I CAN CATEGORICALLY TELL YOU THAT IGBOS DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT POLITICS

HOW CAN A REASONABLE HUMAN BEING SUPPORT SOLUDO

IS IT BECAUSE HE IS A PROFESSIOR

THERE’S A LOT TO LEARN FROM PROFESSOR AYADE’S GOVERNMENT BUT ITS QUITE UNFORTUNATE THAT MY PEOPLE DON’T THINK.

VERY VERY UNFORTUNATE cry

What's wrong with Ayade's leadership in xriver

I'm not a fan of apc and to me Ayade's move to apc is senseless and abit inconsiderate.

But that doesn't mean I castigate and condemn all he has done in office. Apart from D. Duke I haven't seen any other leader that have empowered and built factories for xriver state as Ayade. And because he's educated n enlightened, there's a clueless in d likes of Ganduge, ikpeazu, wike etc, you won't see with him

Infact i don't totally blame him for d move to apc, because many in pdp are a bunch of clueless power and money hungry politicians. That are more interested in personal benefits than really wrestling power from apc and uniting/positioning the country.

Just look at what they did in Anambra primaries.

Infact my older brother's classmate is one of the pdp godfather and power Brooker in Anambra. This uneducated broke ass was bragging how dr maduka was in his house for 4hrs negotiating on how to resolve developments due to d Court case that obviously favored his camp. But he wasn't thinking in anyway about Anambra and progress, rather he was all about his hold on govt and state treasury.

I told my Bross that the guy is clueless and ignorant, because pdp actually needed maduka more than he needs them.
And If they continue pursuing personal interest and fields a good candidate that is not popular (like ozigbo). What happened to pdp and Oseloka in d last elections will repeat against them.

First is that the bulk of Ozigbo's vote is projected to come from nnewi. I can bet you he can't even dislodge Ifeayi Uba in nnewi.

I know you have your misgivings about Soludo oo, but if you understand modern day leadership, you will understand that Apga/Obiano selection of soludo is just a masterstroke period.

Car Talk / Re: Doctor Laments As Car Disappears In Abuja Market by Carlyscales: 8:58am On Jun 20, 2021
somehow:
Education has nothing to do with morality though.

Our forefathers were largely without formal education but they didn't lack good moral standards.

It's shocking that you are comparing the times of our father's and now.

At their time, with a large family and a large piece of land for subsistence agriculture, and the ability to trade the remaining farm produce is enough make one comfortable.

But globally now, when a people:
* not educated
* not empowered
* don't have a good economy to guarantee a good gdp per capital.
*have a spiralling population growth

They are definitely heading towards poverty no matter the size of family lands they possess.

Let's not just delude our selves. The challenges of 19th and 20th centuries can never be same as 21st's.

Yes I agree with you that when someone is not moral, with education and exposure, he may become even more fraudulent. But in 21st century leadership its always clear that many people tend to turn to crime for survival when they jdon't have options in life.

That's y good leaders do everything to provide options and opportunities for their people.

It doesn't matter if the young one is lazy and uninterested in study. They use sports, music, social media, comedy, modelling, fashion, business etc to provide options.

Imagine this:

Literacy rate so low as 62% ( next to sudan, meanwhile Seychelles ( 95%), Equatorial Guinea (95%) & Sao Tome (92%)

Unemployment rate of 33%

Food inflation rate of 23%

Inflation rate of 16%

And our currency losing value per day.

And you guys are saying Nigerians are fraudulent and corrupt? In my opinion we are really trying decently.

Pls just tell me one country in d world right now that has such figures as above and are as progressive as Nigerians. That has a lower crime rate than ours??

If the political leaders are not building schools and empowering the youths as it's the case in Nigeria. Ain't they supposed to prepare to build prisons in d future??

We are now saying there are 14m out of school kids in northern Nigeria alone. And it's like just another statistics.

Don't you know that in 10yrs those kids will run the streets hell to survive and remain alive as yòuths??

So what do you expect from youths that are neither educated nor empowered. How many northern leaders have a concrete plan right now, to educate and empower the kids?
So how do you expect the north and Nigeria at large to be peaceful in the next 20yrs?

Don't worry the time for the north to wail and morn is coming. Y'all will soon be moved when your love story with Buhari ends in 2023 or even beyond.

You have monopolized political leadership yet your region is the most backward, uneducated and poor.

Eventhough not visible to your nepotistic eyes now, but it's very palpable that the Buhari's presidency disaster is hurting the north more. I can tell you right now that more people are getting poorer in d north than d south.

You may believe that by shamelessly pursuing his quota system agenda, Buhari is giving jobs advantage to the north. But the only great thing he did for the north was d the rice revolution.
Even that has failed because of this mentality of yours. At the moment southern Rice dealers are rejecting belated Rice from northern mills, and diverting it to foreign rice ( I'm sure, because my company has rejected Rice and Is about to receive millions from a northeastern Miller this week).

Having lived most of my life in d North, I can tell you that the rising population and poverty in your region is a dangerous combination and tickling time bomb.

Wake up your sense and conscience, Buhari's failures is a disadvantage to North especially.
