The companies you listed are ALL service industry companies. The cannot go on holiday or close their doors. Even during these holidays, people patronise and increase demand for the services of these companies. So if the workers are giving holidays, then what happens.

They have shifts (Days on and Days Off} to cater for weekend and holidays.

Everything is not about fighting for the people. Leadership is not about FIGHT and PROTEST always

If you don't want to work weekends or during holidays, I suggest you find employment in industries or companies STRICTLY that do M-F / 9-5.
