What indices were used to arrive at this list?

Were they arranged in any order?
Politics › Re: PHOTOS: Jonathan Unveils Nigeria’s First Indigenous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle by CasCas2: 9:39am On Dec 18, 2013
I am yet to see or hear of the promised huge benefits of our standard built satelites in areas of intelligence, disaster mgt, agriculture, weather, etc.

Now this!!

My take: if we can't reproduce or improve o
n an existing technologies, we should be humble and procure! Soon another person will use a discarded motor car engine to build what he would call a chopper!!
Politics › Re: El-Rufai’s Book Is An Intellectual Fraud - Soludo by CasCas2: 1:37pm On May 06, 2013
I am grossly inclined to believe Soludo!! Facts will always win arguments that is for when the audience has brains.
Christianity Etc › Re: Catholic Church Pulls Out Of CAN! by CasCas2: 9:06pm On Jan 23, 2013
When Reverend(in the true meaning of the word) Catholic leaders and other non-political Men of God talk, the politicians listen, the main reason is because they know they have no political affiliation. A few examples: Cardinal Okojie, Cardinal Onaikan, Bishop My Man Kukah, and even recently, a certain Catholic Bishop laid it bare before Jonathan and Dickson at Azazi's burial, etc. Bakare and his politicized likes will never be taken seriously because they have soiled their hands.

Politics › Re: Delta Govt Votes ₦7.4bn To Demolish Hills Around Airport In 10 Days by CasCas2: 6:59pm On Apr 12, 2012
Hey, Warri is not a hell hole, Warri is an oil city that is better than Abuja in the eyes of Waferians. You are not from Warri that is why you cannot appreciate the city. Please Identify what the governor has not done in warri that should be done. Uduaghan is doing well and Delta State is working, to God be the glory.
I will not blame you until I know where you are coming from. You were probably living in a mangrove creek before now, so Warri has to be comparable to the Abuja described to you by a blind man.

The only visible sign of Uduaghan in Warri is the demolition/reconstruction of primary schools not done during long vacations; forcing children to sit outside to learn.
Car Talk › Re: Made In Nigerian Buses Finally Hit Lagos Road. by CasCas2: 10:12pm On Mar 29, 2012
Innoson is making great strides, most likely because it is a private firm.

Remember that a government partnered company in Eastern Nigeria, ANAMMCO, Enugu, was making powerfully strong buses.

PTF bought their 1414 buses for most Fed universities then.

Unfortunately, they have run ANAMMCO down!! cry cry

Politics › Re: I’m Slow To Avoid Mistakes - Gej by CasCas2: 1:43pm On Jan 02, 2012
Any Government policy on oil whether subsidy, deregulation or what ever poo i dont understand will always be perfect for a nation. The two prominent things that make things go wrong is corruption and greed.

Even at the current price, fuel price in Nigeria is still low compared to prices in the US and UK
Subsidy or No Subsidy, the problem with Naija is leadership.
It would make more sense if protests were staged to drag incompetent leaders out of office than protest against economic measures.

Its time we drag down our over paid senators and other government officials who wants to live an American lifestyle even though our GDP is less than 1% of America's GDP,

‎1) One barrel of Crude oil = 42gallons or
159 litres

,  2) Our Refineries (i.e 4) Installed
(combined) capacity = 445,000
,  barrels per day

3) Actual refineries capacity due to
ageing equipment = 30% i.e. 133,500
barrels per day
.
4) . . 133,500 barrels = 21.2 million litres

5) Local required consumption (F.O.S) =
12millions litres

6) It means that even our MORIBOND
refineries can actually meet our local
consumption need of petroleum.

7) The cost structure of crude oil (i.e.
Qua Iboe Crude Oil) production;
- Findings / development - $3.5
- Production cost - $1.5
- Refining Cost - $12.6
- Pipeline/transportation - $1.5
- Distr/bridging fund Margin -$15.69

True cost of one litre of petroleum
anywhere in Nigeria;
- Total sum cost = $34.8
- 1ltr cost = $34.8/159 litres = $0.219
- Naira equiv. 0.219xN160= N35.02k
- Add Tax N5 + N35.02 = N40.02

9) Let FGN refute the above composition
and if not, they should tell us how
they came about N65/litre.

10) Locally refined products cannot be
sold at International price.

11) We really do not need FGN SUBSIDY
as there was NONE in the first place.

12) What is LACKING, is the WILL to
enforce LAW ON CORRUPTION.

We still stand a chance as a COUNTRY.
Analysis done by Professor Tam David West, former Petroleum Minister.
This analysis is totally flawed and I should be ashamed if it came from a Minister of the Federal Republic, not to talk of a professor.

The assumption that 1 barrel of crude = 159 litres of crude = 159 litres of PMS (petrol), men!!!! cry cry

Madam Plea Bargain!!! Gone for good. EFCC has shown lack of competence in prosecution of cases.

This is their normal work flow:

1. Receive petition
2. Call the culprit and ask him to take off
3. Declare him wanted (enough media noise)
4. After looong delay, he shows up
5. Arrainged
6. Obtain bail (same guy that was on the run gets a bail)
7. Investigation starts
8. One year later, amend charges
9. Negotiate a plea bargain
10. Culprit Organises a thanksgiving!!!
Case closed!!
cool cool cool cool

there are lots of businesses and people living all around the axis affected, why single out Shell and Chevron for specific mention? are they more important than the others who are being inconvenienced? #justasking
There is no denying the fact that these two major multinationals directly or indirectly supply up to 60 -70% of the wealth that sustains the inhabitants of Waffi Kingdom.

My question: Couldn't this traditional marriage that lasts for 3 days be held in the Warri Township Stadium?

Family › Re: Help! How Much Will This Marriage List Cost? by CasCas2: 3:38pm On Nov 03, 2011
there is nothing too outrageous here. The list is lengthy but definitely not too expensive.

Ordinarily, you may have decided to buy the dress for your father and mother-in-law but now, it is standardised and made ''simpler'' for you.

You would have bought all the food items mentioned or even more, but no one will raise an eyelid if what they requested is not enough.

Catering: What were you gonna spend on catering services? check this:

13).   FOR THE PEOPLE THAT DO THE COOKING:
A).   A CRATE OF MINERAL   (less than 1k)
B).   A CARTON OF BEER      (Star is a premium beer, <1.7k
C).   A PACKET OF CABIN BISCUIT   ( 0.15k)
D).   A BOTTLE OF SCHNAPPS    (no particular brand < .5k)
E).   A GALLON OF PALM WINE    (depending on season, <2k)
F).   KITCHEN SUPPORT N2,000.00
can it get cheaper anywhere in the world to hire caterers?  grin

However, nothing there is beyond negotiation!! Best of luck.

By the way, I am married!!
Car Talk › Re: Are Car Trackers Inclusive In The Sim Registration? by CasCas2: 5:20pm On Oct 21, 2011
cas-cas,
if your using a one-off payment plan like mine, don't count on the insurance people doing that
for you.

in my own case i was handed the sim pack meaning they have given me complete control.
My insurance installed and renews the service even though I can contact the tracking company on my own.

But the fact is that if you have a comprehensive insurance, u need not bother. If the car gets missing, it is left for the insurance company to find it by every means, if they like , use jazz shocked else, they pay!!

You sound so right: there was a bomb scare on Freeman House (Shell's office); one of the listed http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/bomb-scare-shell-office

Car Talk › Re: Are Car Trackers Inclusive In The Sim Registration? by CasCas2: 11:18pm On Oct 03, 2011
What I think is: It should be the responsibility of your tracking company to register the sims they installed in trackers.

Anyways, my tracker was installed by my insurance, if they do not register, ncc blocks, God forbid my car gets missing, wallahi they must pay!!!

You, of all people, should know that when a person dies, only an autopsy can confirm the real cause of death.  Sources have confirmed that the man did not die from the gun shot, but from cardiac arrest. olodo
Of course, it was a shot on the chest, the ''heart was attacked''
Politics › Re: Tinubu Accuses PDP And AGF As Plotters Of His Trial by CasCas2: 11:08pm On Sep 22, 2011
[size=8pt]Tinubu made us know he is a suspected sponsor of Boko Haram. Usually, this kind of accusation is hard to prove by prosecutors. I think govt wants another reason, (this case) to cage him behind bars in a fight against BH.

All these talk of, ''they are after me, they are after me'', it does not move me; Just answer your case! This is why I never pitied Chuba Okadigbo against OBJ, Diya against Abacha, So  many Vs Ribadu's EFCC etc.

If you are smart enough to know they are after you, then be smart and play clean!!!

NYSC › Re: NYSC Will Stop Posting Youth Corpers To Private Companies? by CasCas2: 4:01pm On Sep 16, 2011
Rivers State has been implementing this for a long time. Is it a success? I can't say.

Personally, I think it is good. Let all applicants be on the same starting point after service, applying for the same positions that were available for the retained corp members.

Secondly, there are companies that will never retain but they will always have corpers working hard for them. They USE the corpers as cheap labour and literally dump them after service.

Conversely, does the local, state and federal governments have enough places to absorb the corps memebers in every state?

You needed proper counselling before going for such a ''minor'' but expensive surgery.
And again, right now, you also need counselling: both of you!!!
A $12k surgery that may not work? And who tells you humans can ALWAYS have a baby when they want to, even if there was no procedure ab initio?
Politics › Re: GEJ Contacts Retired Military Chiefs Over Escalating Attacks by CasCas2: 4:35pm On Sep 01, 2011
Boko Haram is a today's problem, as such, we do not need any ''wealth of experience'' of Gen Gusau to handle it. We need wisdom instead.
