DeLaRue: Petrol cabal fighting back.
The old, rickety car in that image probably has its own peculiar problem that caused that problem. It might have nothing to do with the CNG itself.
In any casw, diesel, petrol, and most especially electric vehicles do catch fire/explode from time to time.
Electric cars even catch fire on their own several hours after they are parked.
That has not stopped people from buying those vehicles. You think Nigerians would listen to this? |

They should have their own anti-corruption agency. They have state judiciary, SIEC, state houses of Assembly, they have the LGs...
What's left? We'll be at the mercy of these criminal governors.
If this case doesn't go in their favor, Yahaya Bello can keep running.

He expressed shock at the treatment meted out to the Nigeria delegation, who were made to spend the entire night inside the departure lounge of the Al-Abraq Airport. He said His Excellency ordered him to get a few things for the team, and he later returned with plastic bags loaded with croissants and drinks. These served as breakfast for the team. Gentlesoul2021: Thank you so much for this elaborate information. The meter seal are still intact. I have already alerted an electrician to help me check the wire connections if they are tampered with then I'll be going to ibedc office physically before the end of today. I have also wrote a mail with attached screenshot which has not been responded. You're welcome. Go to any service center of IBEDC near you and present the letter physically, they acknowledge and you take a copy with you. That can protect you when issues come up. It's that letter they forward to NERC before they send the metering guys to come and check. Since the seals are intact, we have 2 possibilities now. What brand of meter is it? |

Gentlesoul2021: Good afternoon everyone
I will like u all to please help me on this issue. 4 months ago, I requested for a new prepaid meter for 11 shops, even though 5 of them requested to be disconnected from nepa light while 6 shops was connected to the meter.
My concern now is, since I acquire this meter 4/5 months ago, this meter has not trigger off so they can recharge on it which has started giving me concern lately then I log on ibedc (Ibadan electricity distribution company) to obtain the outstanding bills for this new meter and from the look of things, aside the amount placed on the meter (by phch through their dubious means) from estimated billings prior to the insurance of the meter, I noticed a negative amount reading on the meter which I find very confusing.
I am beginning to think maybe the meter has started borrowing units on it own with what I read somewhere online.
These guys has been using light for over 8months without paying light bills.
I will like to act fact on this issue as this shop occupants abandoned a previous meter they were using earlier citing no amount of unit they purchase on it quickly exhaust which prompted them to go request for an outstanding bills on the meter and it was discovered that about 350k debt was on it incurred by the previous tenants.
I don't want such occurrence on the new meter so I want to act fast.
Please I will like someone knowledgeable about metering stuffs to please take a look and possibly give next line of action.. Thank you so much...
Mods please help push to front page for a wider contribution. There are 2 possibilities here that can give meter the chance to get into this "negative" situation: Either the meter has factory issue that makes it to allow electricity to pass through even when it's out of unit or, the customer is tapping from the incomer wires(service mains) before the meter - that's external bypass. Since some of these meters have their relays on the neutral, whatever they think they have been taking is recorded in negative value for them. Did you see the meter on negative when you visited and they were still having light? Do the meters have all the factory and IBEDC seals intact?Sometimes, people go to these guys to help them "tamper" with these meters internally and it could lead to the negative accumulation. That's internal bypass. Like I explained above, external bypass could lead to this accumulation, too - depending on the meter type and the position of the relays. Solution: ask the shop owners to vend unit equaling the amount of negative value on the meter, the negative would clear out. They should avoid allowing it to go completely out of units before recharging. That can be a temporary solution. If you observe on the incoming wire without any "puncture" or opening to show they're taking supply by bypassing the meters, then Check the seals to see if their intact, if they're intact, then call the IBEDC team to come and inspect by writing letter to them and do keep a copy of the letter. If you allow them to come on their own routine inspection to find out about this, I can't describe how much you might end up paying. If it's factory issues, the MAP will be called to retrieve the meters and take them to lab for checks. If it's internal bypass, you're in trouble and if it's external bypass they're doing, tell them to stop as they'd be caught somedays - they should always recharge to clear the negative. Every negative indication points to the 3 possibilities elaborated above: internal or external infraction and, or factory issues inate to the meter. Act fast! |

Life continues. This put the climate change cliche flat on its face, but the liars had to smuggle it in to prove their point. If climate change is increasing heat to make ice melt to increase sea level - thereby causing flood, why's a hot desert experiencing rainfall leading to flooding? Climate change is designed to keep developing countries down from growing. Our stupid leaders are falling for it. |

"It's not raining more, we have more heat, lake chad is drying up as a result of climate change - this is the cause of crisis in that area and forcing herdsmen down South in search of food for their animals, etc." You have rain in the desert, and it's still blaming climate change... Experts link the unusual rainfall to climate change, warning of more extreme weather in the Sahara as global temperatures rise due to fossil fuel pollution. I knew they'd come up with this nonsense. |
