NairalandForumo: Na Una still dey fight for Nigeria, for me my own is to divide Nigeria into different countries, people like Wike and Tinubu are just one part of the problem of Nigeria...
When you look at the number of people who still support them from a certain region, to me that is a bigger problem that has to do with ideology and for me is one major reason to divide the country, you will actually realize that those men are in power today because of those kind of people.
Our regional ideologies are not the same, we are not aiming for the same thing, I will rather share country with people that share the same ideology with me so that we can have a common goal, Nigeria is mainly where it is today because most regions don't want the same thing Your ideology is the same with those in Dubai and USA, right? You always want to go to such places. Black man! |

mustyNEMESIS: This is going to be a long movie/show. I fear for Fubara. If this case should go to the Supreme Court, I fear Wike will use his influence and if the Supreme Court should also affirm the appeal court ruling, Fubara might not even finish this term, talk more of re-election.
I understand that he became the governor with the help of Wike, but that doesn’t mean he has to bow or get instructions from him on how to rule the state.
Wike has done his time. No one disturbed or fought him during his administration. Fubara should be given a free hand to operate.
But again, Fubara brought this on himself. I’m not privy to the agreement between him and Wike. If he entered any agreement with Wike, I believe he was fully aware of it before he agreed. He should honor the contract they both agreed. The fight between them started too early.
I don’t pity Fubara. He knew what Wike was capable of before agreeing to whatever deal they had. If he knew the conditions attached to Wike’s support is something that doesn’t make sense, why agree to it in the first place, only for you to turn back in the middle of the deal.
I only pity the people of Rivers state that are being denied good governance.
When two elephants fight, the grass bears the brunt.
A word of advise for everyone - don’t enter into an agreement or contract you know you won’t honor. This is where I expected Fubara to have used his wisdom by following Wike this term and then turn on him after winning the second term. Wike actually thought Fubara would be easy to handle, considering his looks, but he proved him wrong. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli Troops Attack UN Peacekeepers In Lebanon, World Reacts by Caseless: 6:02am On Oct 11, 2024 |
Botragelad: The UN's ineptitude is a shame! Resolution 1701, passed in 2006, explicitly demanded Hezbollah's disarmament and removal from the Litani River area. Yet, these UN forces have been sleeping on the job for years, allowing Hezbollah to rearm and launch rockets into Israel unchecked.
Now, let's recall the Lebanese War in 2006, Israel withdrew from Lebanon, trusting the UN to enforce 1701. Fast forward to today: Hezbollah's still entrenched, and UNIFIL (UN Interim Force in Lebanon) has failed to prevent their terrorist activities. Here;⬇️ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_1701
Israel's patience wore thin after/close to a year of rocket attacks(now). The limited ground invasion was a last resort. And what's the UN's response? Crocodile tears! Israel warned UNIFIL to vacate the area since they are clueless, so the IDF could finish the job. What exactly is their job there if they can't disarm hezbollah or prevent them from launching attacks against Israel?🤷♂️
It's simple: if you stand in the way of self-defense, you'll get hurt. Don't become Hezbollah's human shields! The UN's inaction has consequences, and here it is. PS: You guys should read some bit of history books, it's important. Don't just support terrorists out of emotional sentiment
Am yisreal chai 🇮🇱! You don't make sense. How many UN resolutions has Israel violated that you want the one to disarm Hezbollah enforced? You hypocrite! |

”I am currently preoccupied with economic reform. That is my first priority. Once this is in place, as soon as possible, I will look at other options, including constitutional review as recommended by you and other options,” the President said. But you were not preoccupied by how to fix our economy when you decided to change our national anthem to the old one. We can just as well adopt the 1979 constitution like we did with the anthem. I started having issues with Tinubu the moment he decided to change the national anthem. Of all the issues facing us as a nation, you even found space to change the national anthem. Despite the hardships in the land, he was quick to change the national anthem. Then I realized he's not serious and only here to further waste our time. Truth is despite the theatrics of Al-Jazeera, those who can never fall for their antics are far more than those being deceived. There are questions begging for answers.....in journalism there's something called balanced reportage, (1) Why haven't you heard one Gazan saying, Hamas are the cause of this fight? Do you want me to believe ALL gazans blame Israel? Al-Jazeera guys are dumb (2) Why are Hamas leaders(Hamas lawyers, at least dem get doctors aka terrorists)not taking Israel to court if they're really after the well being of Palestinians, rather than have South Africa do that for them (3) Why is NO ARAB country leading the fight against Israel? Truth is they know that the information Israel has against them is overwhelmingly shocking if it gets out, and they'll be wotowotolistically dealt with. (4) Why is Al Jazeera not giving us figures of terrorists killed, whether female or male? Or are all terrorists male, or maybe they are like one Nigerian TV Channel owned by a known grabber and runner WITH IT Gazans are the occupiers, so they cause everything. |

Whizzdom: On Tuesday (21-12-2023), I was having serious fever, so went to buy an over-the-counter malaria drug and one flu tablet. The lady chemist told me to use 4 tablets in the morning and 4 in the afternoon for the malaria drug, but for the Flu medicine, I should use 1 tablet in the morning and at night. I took 4 tablets in the afternoon that day. On the next day, which is Wednesday, I took 4 tablets making 8 tablets in total plus 1 Flu tablet, A few hours after I took that medicine, I felt a sharp pain in my left hear, after which the pain subsided.
I am Welder by profession, I went to work that same moment, at work, I was using a grinding machine to grind iron to make iron smooth, the machine makes noise, but this day, as I was grinding, I could feel something in my brain or inner ear bringing buzzing sound or noise into my ear, after grinding that iron, I couldn't ear anything, all I was hearing is just noise.
The next day, which is today Thursday, I could hear people speak but they have to be loud, and my ears can't tolerate noise at all.
To go hospital hard me because I no gallant because of the series of test they will have me run which will expend my money I don't have.
My question is to the learned health practitioners in the house, should I give it time for it to heal on its own or I should go to the hospital for doctor's opinion on the matter.
Attached are the medicines for your scrutiny, I hope it is not one of those fake drugs. I don't know if our problem is illiteracy or poverty. Self-medication is about to harm you, and here you're seeking another one to cure the earlier one. Are you ok? Go to the hospital and this time around, go to a reputable one, or else, your ear is gone. That long sound in the ear is "tininitus" or something. Someone came here with it last time. |

Did she tell the guy she'd kill herself if he doesn't come to rescue her from her current marriage, she'd kill herself and not doing that, she wanted to make her threat real, and the guy trying to stop her, she offed him. akinsmail51: “Hardships have an end whose time is known only to Allaah."
So, anyone experiencing them has no choice but to be patient until that time is up. Losing patience before that time will not help anything. Patience is a must, but it is useless without prayer.
The one praying should not be hasty, and should instead engage in worship through patience, prayers, and submission to the All-Wise…
The hasty one is infringing on the function of the Planner, and this is not the proper position of a servant to be in.
The best position to be in is to accept your fate, and this demands patience. To beg constantly in prayer is the most reliable recourse.
Opposition to fate is forbidden, and infringes on the function of the Planner. Understand these points, and your hardship will be much easier to deal with…”
