chukwudi44: The Senate today is under his control, majority of the senators are with him. He can either used either the voice vote or any means to reject his candidates.
I repeat unless you provide proof of convictions, this story is just useless So, he can use his power of having the majority with him to stop anyone simply because he does not like his/her face or because of someone they are connected to? You see your life? You are just celebrating impunity in one fold, and defending corruption in another. Saraki is now a saint. I'm sure I f I dig up, I might find where you have tagged him corrupt before, bit you are now the one here defending him. |

chukwudi44: I even thought you were intelligent. Unless you can find proof that Saraki was convicted in this case this story is useless. Tinubu just messed up chance of his boys getting ministerial appointments as they won't make it past the NASS screening so, the charges were not in anyway connected to the socitiete generale bank the sarakis helped to liquidate? Did you check the charges at all? Saraki has no power to stop anyone connected to Tinubu from scaling through the screening. All that's needed from the lawmakers is just 'yays' and 'nays' and that's it. |

Tribunal affirm akwa ibom state election how many times in the past have tribunals upheld election in the past only for it to be overturned at the appeal or supreme court? Fayemi, amaechi, aragbesola , mimiko, etc all lost at the tribunal only to get justice at the upper court. Don't celebrate yet. |

aminho: You termed me 'lazy', though my laziness hasn't crippled me from farming enough Rice, millet, sorghum, wheat, Maize, Onions, cocoa & 85% of the stuff that make up your daily staple. Ever wondered where and how the wheat and millet that runs your breweries come from? You said I'm 'unproductive', because my land has no oil. I wish to know how much you payed God for the oil beneath your feet. Don't tell me your hard-work cause its existence! You mischievously call me 'ABOKIII' OR SOUTHWASTERNER because I choose to be generous, friendly & funny instead of dubious, rude & cunning. you call me 'Malu' or yoloba derogatorily... .. I regard myself as such because I rear, breed & transport the livestock which gave u Ise- ewu, pepper-soup, suya, kilishi, kpomo etc. Lets not forget the hide/skin which makes your shoe markets thrive. My dear brother, Nations have survived and prosper without exploring a single barrel of crude but no nation has ever (& can ever) survive without producing enough to feed its citizens. Remember its from our cocoa plantation rubber and timber and groundnut money that we explored and drilled the oil in your land which means its also our investment
To underscore the importance of the region as the breadwinner of the nation, a misunderstanding between the Lagos State Government and Northern traders who bring goods such pepper, edibles, fruits and cows from the North created panic in the city some years ago. For a few days, the food chain of an entire state was shut down. Drought soon became imminent. Prices of foodstuff also went up astronomically. There was panic everywhere as residents prayed for the northerners to end the strike. Such is the importance of the North. Why do we then still refer to them as parasites when they feed the entire country? The coming of the military truncated the progress of the North just as it did other regions. Our leaders’ failure to harness the resources of the country created an oil-based mono-economy which made the entire country dependent on the product. This is not the North’s problem. It is a Nigerian conundrum.
Lets pray 4 a better Nigeria we are one good people great nation With love from your friend 'Amshi

Ucheosefoh: mumu I know you will ignore this Ejikeme said government had already purchased saloon cars that would be given out to commercial motorcycle operators and Keke riders on hire purchase to cushion the effect of the ban. Anything to service your bigotry even if it means to stamp on the truth you don't read. They said they provision to cushion the effects, unfortunately, the same act being exibited by the okada riders is what is being displayed by the keke riders, hence , the ban. |

It's even better Gime dropped his case otherwise there was no way Ortom could have survived Gime's case. And at the same time it would have been better had Gime emerged because he's been in the party for so long right from the days of ACN. His name was substituted with Ortom's who decamped to APC just a couple of days after he contested and lost primary under PDP!!! What manner of injustice is that??
Should Tarzor succeed, Benue is done for and the crook Suswam would be in an even bigger trouble (only good aspect of it).
Make dem do pay their workers jor. This 5 months and counting. I don't like the fact that Time was asked to step down for Ortom having lost the primaries from pdp. It shows we don't value our own. Samething happened in the case of Gamade(though he has impressed with his anti-saraki and pdp campaign in the nass despite being a member of pdp in the past). Akume should allow Orton to make appointments that will accommodate those that sacrificed their ambition for Ortom. I pray Tarzor don't get through with his case. |

MuguliciousMUGU: How do you expect this soldiers to fight well, see how they packed them inside like sardine, and buhari is busy talking selfies and uploading it on facebook just to get 500,000 likes and 1 million comments.
That was what happened to my guy, he said he wanted to join nigerian army, he bought the form and wrote the exam but he failed woefully, then he bought the form and wrote the exam for 10 years and still failed, while i just finished my school and started earning 500 million dollars per month, but he was still trying his luck, then the 11th time he passed and got the admission, then on the first day of training, they told him that he should run round the stadium for 100 times, he ran 2 times and got tired, and they flogged him 50 strokes of the koboko for stopping, he had to run away from the camp and came to meet me for advice, he told he that na yahoo yahoo he go do last last, that whether he would get richer pass bill gate, i told him yes, that yahoo yahoo would make him marry queen elizabeth 2 sef, and he thanked me. idiat, buhari that just came over 3 weeks ago is to blame right? And you were here supporting GEJ that causes all this. |

And Ortom has allowed himself as old as he is to be led by the nose by Akume on appointments so far as though he doesn't have a mind of his own. Wahala dey for us be that? What more can we do? Just praying for that grace of God to come down. |
