MizMyColi: I only know one person that knows you. Should I ask the person to show me?
Eh ehn...inquisitive Miz! Before then, tell me the name of the person or write the corruption of his moniker to avoid giving the person a mention (eg caseless written as case'less) for me to know if he or she is a reliable source. |

INTROVERT: I can authoritatively tell you that there are more qualified hands in the DPR that the man appionted but all you know is what you see and read on NL. I just don't like any argument configured on ethnic, religious and regional coloration. If you had based your argument on facts that they're people ahead of him, there's no way I'd have come at you the way I did. As crass and intemperate as I was with my reply to you, I still managed to draw your attention to the part of the report that says "until his appointment, he was a deputy director in the department". Again, if a director can't be succeeded by his deputy, then the aim of 'deputizing' has been defeated. INTROVERT: I don't expect an old member like you to be hurling insults like this. I wouldn't mind from a 13 14 15 set.
All the same I hail. again, after reading this part of your post, I felt disappointed in myself. Maybe, I should call on a lady I respect so much to help me say 'sorry' to you... Mizmycoli, help me out here. Before then, I'm sorry about my action. |

Politics › Re: Meet The New Chief-Of-Staff, Hamid Ibrahim-Alli by Caseless: 6:51pm On Jun 29, 2015 |
DaPhilosopher: Colonel Hamid Ibrahim Alli is a brave Kano Prince. He was a military governor of Kaduna state and a diehard IBB boy who is reputed to have made the statement “I can follow IBB to war blindfolded” to show how much he believed in IBB as a general. But that didn’t stop him from looking IBB in the face and telling him he was wrong on the case of the annulment of June 12 1993 elections.
He lost his commission because he refused to support the annulment of the June 12 election and Abacha’s takeover of government instead of handing over to MKO. Despite his famous dislike for MKO, whom he saw as an arrogant man, he insisted justice and fairplay must be done. He demanded MKO be sworn in even if he was a devil.
Rumour has it that he would have been killed if not because he was a blue blood. He left the Army and government unceremoniously, a simple man without money or scandal. According to reports, he is into poultry farming and still drives a 504 Peugeot.
Colonel Hamid Ibrahim Ali is currently undergoing SSS screening in preparation for his appointment.Immediately there were feelers that he will emerge the next EFCC Chairman, corrupt politicians have been on panic mode. Some have started refunding stolen funds.
http://vibes247.com/meet-the-new-chief-of-staff-colonel-hamid-ibrahim-alli/ this story is about another colonel Umar dangiwa or so(can't remember his surname), and not hameed Ali. I learned hameed Ali is from yobe or so. |

misssclassy: Well, this is quite a delicate situation. First of all I 'd advice you sit her down and talk things with her. Tell her you stand in all of this and tell her how you feel about her decision. Expressively explain to her of the implication of her decision of your relationship
What she did was insensitive. Why would she chose to make such decision at a time as crucial as this. It doesn't speak well of her judgment and decision making.
If after talking to her she still doesn't change her stance, the best thing for the both of you is to end the relationship.
Having separate religions as a husband and wife would not help in improving your relationship. If for anything, it would help in pulling both of you apart. When you practise the same religion with your spouse, it creates understanding, trust and a stronger bond of friendship and companionship between the both of you.
I am not saying your marriage won't work if she chooses to practice islam and you choose to practice christianity, but there is a higher chance it would blossom if you both practiced the same religion. madam, I just de look you.

MizMyColi: This is an addendum and equally a response emanating from this thread https://www.nairaland.com/2409187/saraki-vs-tinubu-comparism-why
DISCLAIMER
It is usually not in my everyday nature to appear dissident to my easy going and agreeable persona. I have decided to do the opposite of my ordinary personality pattern, to check in with myself to find my own truth and to find the courage to express my opinion even if it means disagreeing with almost everyone. . . .
It is a sad pity that whenever Barcanista says stuff that sounds good to the ears of APC folks on here, he is "objective" and "should stop playing partisan politics, so he can have a wider reach" But when he does the complete opposite, even when it is apparent he speaks the truth and fact, he is met with open condemnation, and more or less, incorrigible counter attacks You lost an asset in Barcanista. #Fact
I remember clearly that it was a seemingly objective thread like this that he opened and you all came calling for his head. Even when he clearly didn't mean to defect, your accusations, counter accusations and vituperations led the young man, unwittingly to adopt PDP. And thankfully, the PDP e-constituency on Nairaland is better for it.
Take a look at that thread, 7 pages and counting, how many of our people do you see lampooning him like the APC did? It is called tolerance and giving your own the benefit of a doubt! even though it looked as if he was gradually warming his way back into the APC.
What some of us did was to contact him privately to know exactly what he is up to.
For Your Information, this is Barcanista's stand as of today 28th June, 2015. @Barcanista, if I have forged any of what I am about to write below, please feel free to refute it. Thank You.
