I wonder what wld have been the situation in the north right now if Buhari and sheikh Dahiru bauchi were both killed in that attack. We do know that buhari and the sheikh both criticised gej for his poor handling of the security situation in the north, jst 3 days ago, and attacks were directed at them yesterday. Witch cried in the night and a baby died in the morning...who killed d baby? I'm sure people wouldn't have thought otherwise. |

239 gals have spent 100 days in the hands of boko haram/sambisa and we yet to rescue them , even though as security agents keep telling us "we knw whre they are". I wonder how these 9 students will be rescued in another country if we cant rescue 239 gals in our country. Our gov't don't care about its citizen. |

Our problem is how we don't read history or indulge in autodidact to learn, having being partially taught or given very little out of vast knowledge that is available in our various schools. In other climes, people read history to make an amend, or to forestall future occurence, but we(mostly youth) in nigeria , read history to carry out vengeance and entrench hate against ourselves. We have a very youthful population that should help make this country work, but they're the one celebrating mediocrity, sentimen/bigotry , corruption, etc. Our youths are what they're because of the shabby education they get. Until we grow above hate and tribalism, then we shall make the needed progress. I weep for Nigerian youth!! 1 Like |

Nairaland that depends on their members to post an already trending story can't setup a newspaper cos this involves sourcing for news. Besides, seun is not comfortable seeing negative opinion about certain politician or party. I wonder his newspaper can make money if it does not welcome cricticism against politicians. You are so pathetic.u ar pathetic if u think that 20 helicopters carrying security operative hovered the sky in ekiti that that day, u dnt have any flying in d northeast as at that time and u don't call that militarisation, then , u need help.
