Who is the largest assessed contributor to United Nations budget? He who pays the piper dictates the tune. |
Gerrard59:Exactly, I'm not pro-China or pro-Russia as a few have implied, but the West has a bloody and despicable track record on the continent of Africa. China has invested heavily in Africa, they don't get themselves involved in our domestic policies and affairs, neither do they fund insurgencies and uprisings. Who can say that about the West? Watch what Professor Howard Nicholas said about their plan for Africa. I wish folks across the continent watch it to connect dots. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaqgQvLn5sQ&t=139s&pp=ygUhd2h5IHdlIGtlZXAgQWZyaWNhIHVuZGVyZGV2ZWxvcGVk |
US doing what US does best. "Africa Defense Forum magazine (adf magazine)" is owned and operated by US Africa Command (AFRICOM) which is a branch of US department of defence. This is their whole plan- create anti-China, anti-Russia resentment among Africans and it's sad that it always works because we Africans can't see through the manipulation, disinformation and misinformation. This is part of what they sent General Michael Langley to do in Africa. Strengthening US-Africa relationship through chaos, lining the pockets of hungry "investigate journalists" in Africa.

Bad news for Trump but trust him to still come out and call it a witch hunt |
Large shark? A large shark would flip that boat and probably snack on a arm or leg for giggles |
Came right in time when India and China signed agreement to resume trade through the Lipulekh pass in Nepal. IYKYK |
Apogee14:You're right, it was John MacArthur (a pastor) who said it, but Charlie rode on his narratives based on shared ideology. In that regard I take back my previous reply. |
Apogee14:Provide proof for who exactly? I'd help but I wouldn't want to deprive you of the chance to exercise your own brain. I mean it's a 5 seconds mental cardio, search it up yourself on Google (If you know what Google is and know how to use it). |
Wait, hope Bill Gates Foundation has not visited Niger. |
seunny4lif:I fully support his stance on the Russia-Ukraine war. He was right to say America and the collective west made Russia their ideological enemy. On Israel however, well...Israel runs America. Israeli billionaires sponsors people like Charlie Kirk etc. |
Erm, is this not the same guy that said Black people are cursed by God to be servile people who are “doomed to perpetual slavery? I don't support violence of any sort but people like him are waste of space. |
Brendaniel:There's a deep historical context to it. You may have to go back to the times of "The Crusades" to fully understand but in short, they are instruments in the hand of foreign powers, politicians etc. America had strong links with Al Qaeda, Ukraine is supporting the JNIM terrorists in the Sahel etc. France's Vincent Crouzet (A member of French Intelligence Agency) once publicly said loosely in 2023 or so, that "Now that we are no more in the Sahel, we have more flexibility to start up some operations of destabilisation more secretively in the region". How do you think they carry out these destabilisation operations? |
Omowale2023:Again let's use some common sense (just a little) to actually understand stuffs. I'm not justifying corruption or misplaced priority here, only the Nigeria government can justify the purchase of cars and VP house renovation etc. Numbers are not my thing but this is very basic economics + common sense. Lets do some quick maths, 150 million Naira worth of car X 109 units + 21 billion Naira = 37.35 billion Naira, compared to 5.7 Trillion Naira that Nigeria spend on fuel subsidy/year. No matter what Federal government's reasons are, they cannot buy these cars and renovate houses every year or do they? But fuel subsidy (5.7 Trillion, give or take) is a recurring expense and has to be paid every single year. Do I support cutting government spending? Absolutely where necessary but cutting government spending alone cannot, will not alleviate the strategic damage of servicing subsidy, it doesn't shift a needle. Nigeria simply cannot afford it, it's an economic suicide and THAT is what I'm saying! |
Brendaniel:I'm not a muslim, I don't identify with any religion but if you believe terrorism in Africa has anything to do with any Islamic ideology then I have an airport to sell you. |
Omowale2023:There are nuances here that you are not getting. Yes, the US subsidizes but their economy can absorb it easily. Nigeria's economy simply can’t. Bear in mind America borrows in its own currency, but Nigeria borrows in the same US currency being the world trade currency. Common sense would dictate that subsidy dollar means higher borrowing, inflation, and debt service pressure for Nigeria. In 2022, we spent very close to 100% of revenue on debt servicing, that means we were literally borrowing money to pay for subsidy. Where's the common sense in that? Our subsidies were eating up as much as education, health, and infrastructure budget combined, while fueling smuggling (no pun intended) and corruption. So reducing subsidy isn’t about copying America, it’s about facing our own economic reality. |
DiamondsAreFore:$31 Billion is less than 1% of America's GDP, absorbing the subsidy is no issue for America. Now compare that to a developing economy like Nigeria spending between 1% - 5% of GDP to service subsidy. Removing it is basic fiscal discipline and common sense if you ask me. Not to mention that in America, the subsidies go to oil and gas companies. Subsidies are consumer-facing in Nigeria so smugglers and mafias benefits way more than the average person, at least not at the level of benefit relative to cost. |
Ukraine is hellbent in drawing NATO into an all out war. Everyone seems to forget that Ukraine's air defence missile once fell in Poland's airspace in 2022 and EVERYONE was shouting it was Russian until they later found out it wasn't. Ukraine is cooked, manpower is fast depleting, no billions of 💶💷 anymore from EU because they don't have it. America has placed uncomfortable conditions on more military aid while Russia military is advancing every single day on the front line, western placed sanctions on Russia's economy is not working. How else can Zelensky attract full NATO involvement without creating false narrative such as flying drones into Poland's airspace and claim they were from Russia? |
Keep Lamenting. ISRAEL has Done the Needful. Netanyahu on the attack in Qatar: The mission was carried out in the best possible way. The days when TERROR leaders enjoyed immunity anywhere are over. [Aquote author=CaseSensitive post=136746481] No I'm not lamenting. My question is just common sense and I also asked it in the context of diplomatic international relations. It appears you don't know what that means and the fact that you had to quote what Netanyahu said about the attack shows you're devoid of independent thoughts. |
Righteousness2:Wait let me pick your Mossad brain; So it's not Iran that funded Hamas, it's now Qatar or is Hamas now a crowdfunded project? I thought Qatar is mediating ceasefire and hostage release? Also by your incredible logic, Israel can launch airstrike on London if elements of Hamas Leadership resides in the UK? |
If Qatar didn't green-light this attack on its own territory, then this is a de facto act of war against Qatar |
We know the countries that have the physical genome fragments and strain samples of Ebola, so the virus can be created again at will for Bio-warfare. It's no surprise that there's ebola again. |
Rapmoney:That was me! Good old days. I still play retro games like this for nostalgia |
dermmy:That America's parade was an eyesore, it was like a Temu version of China's parade. |
casualobserver:Fellow ✌🏾 |
OriOko88:You see this way of thinking? As if "repatriating billions back home" is the ingredients for industrialisation and development of a country. Chief here is Pro-West because your fellow brothers and sisters are sending money back home - wiping bums, changing nanny's nappies and looking after deranged schizophrenic psychopaths. This is the same West that kept your country and continent suppressed for decades. Sir, is it Stockholm syndrome or pure British witchcraft? China or India didn't become the world economy giant that they are today because their citizens abroad were repatriating billions back home. As a matter of fact, USA did not "liberate" China. USA and China had a common enemy in Japan. USA didn't support China out of goodwill, supporting China was a means to an end. After WWII, didn't the same USA support Japan against the Chinese? |
Mr Trump, it's not a "Conspiracy against America". It's a new world order where America won't have the power to dictate and behave irrationally towards the rest of the world. |
Theft is wrong and immoral. Well, unless you're EU. Someone should please tell Ursula that investors would lose trust in the EU and freedom of market would be questioned and all these may contribute to the death of the Euro in a world that is fast becoming multipolar. |
cyberbro:Pointless? Don't sell yourself short. You were doing great |
cyberbro:Salty much? I pointed out that the recent immigration control is context-driven which is premised on voters concerns, national identity, economic realities and electoral competition rather than traditional right wing ideology but you instead threw tantrums over a post that's not an attack on your stance. But yh teach me politics, professor. And no, I don't have any grievances with anybody involved in COS scams. If you read properly before getting riled up, you will see where I wrote "on a side note", which means I mentioned something related but not central to the main topic. |
cyberbro:This actually has nothing to do with right wing policy. The Labour Party is not right wing but currently, tension is very high in the UK regarding immigration. There's been a lot of protest in recent days and more to come, by people clamouring for immigration to be controlled, especially illegal migrants who come to the UK by dinghy boats through France. UK is really struggling at the moment - there's high unemployment, low growth, housing is scarce, national infrastructures like NHS etc are overstretched, people are losing their jobs, the country is broke but the migrants coming in illegally by boats are being housed in hotels because by ECHR laws, the UK have to cater for them and these guys are in their tens of thousands. If the Labour government don't draw up drastic measures to reduce immigration, they risk losing to a right wing party like Reform Party which has recently been gaining traction and popularity. On a side note - If you think these Nigerian COS scammers are making money by selling COS (real or fake). Think again - The real guys making money from this system are the gangs operating on human trafficking model, collecting thousands of 💷💰 from each illegal migrants that get transported by boat to the South Coast of the UK. It's a huge business for them and they don't even live in the country. |
