Looking to visit too. Where are you travelling from?

The majority of information can be obtained from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

I had a busy week. I am so sorry I am just seeing this. My friends and I are flying from Heathrow. I haven’t seen in-depth info from any of these platforms.
I heard of a Ghanian couple that returned their 2 kids to Ghana, the kids school reported them to HO. HO has mandated them to bring back the kids. The deadline is this weekend.

Ah! He didn’t start school though. He barely spent a week here.

Good afternoon house.
I applied for the post study graduate route a couple of weeks ago. I just got a message regarding my dependent whom I didn’t apply for.

He was brought in at 2 years old to assess how well he would fare living with me (his father is late). However, we decided it was in his best interest to keep staying with my sister until he is slightly older so I didn’t include him in my PGWV application.

I am now worried it might be a crime taking him back. I need your advice please.

Responses please? Has anyone been or known anyone in a similar position?

Gaming chair is better because most are ergonomic.

Thank you very much for your response.

Good day house.
I need your counsel please. I am trying to buy a few items to set up my work from home office.

Which is better between a gaming chair and an office chair?
*I tend to recline a lot and have a stiff neck and occasional back pains.

I am still waiting for your valuable response please 🙏

Because you have a "fantastic credit rating" and being chased to apply for credit cards does not mean people (especially new entrants) should get interest free credit cards and cancel every 3 - 6 months. It might have worked for you but that does not mean in entirety that it is the right thing to do as a new comer.

The same way someone earlier inferred that, as they got post study visa within 2 days, that should be the norm.

The advice was for me. I followed it and it worked. I didn’t understand why you seem so hellbent on carrying this argument.

No problem with the card....just pay back via direct debits any amount you use each month. I use less than 20% of my credits monthly.

Thank you very much.

Good morning house. I have been reading up on credit scores and how to build them. Mine is currently 723 on Experian and I have been here for a year. Never took interest until now (terrible mistake). I want to take a credit card but I am only eligible for a £1,000 Zilch Virtual Mastercard at 29.99ARP.
I am very financially disciplined but would like to know the pros and cons of taking this card please.
Thank you.

Good morning house.
Please I registered my sister for IELTS exam but made a slight mistake with her Intl passport number ( I wrote 20 instead of 02).
The results is out but with her original passport number. Is this a costly mistake and is there a need to rectify it?
I would appreciate your responses please.
Thank you very much.

We are planning a weekend trip to Isle of wight this summer. It's close to Southampton so you can go and return same day in case you're interested.

Hi Viruses. I am quite interested. I have sent you an email.

Hi guys.

I am looking to make new friends (ladies or unmarried male). It’s really lonely here. I am a 27 years old lady and just need someone to talk to occasionally. If you are career-oriented, that’s a plus. Feel the same way? Please send an email.

So, I got way more messages than I bargained for. I have decided I am no longer lonely and thank you for reaching out.

He cannot. I'm sure you already saw the required documents on NARIC's website.

The alternative is IELTS (general). It's easy to pass considering the required pass mark and you can get your result in less than a week (for online version) and about 2 weeks otherwise.

Has he gotten CoS?

Thank you very much for your response. He is yet to get COS. He wanted all his documents to be complete first. Is it possible for him to get COS now and then do IELTS just before he applies for visa?

Good evening house.
Please I need your advice. My brother wants to apply for NARIC (healthcare work). However, it’s been nearly two months since we have been trying to obtain the letter of medium of instruction from his previous school without success.
Can he apply for NARIC with only his transcript and certificate please?

How long is visa processing taking these days?

Applied for my sister’s visitors visa on the 17th of March. Priority service. She got it on the 22nd of March.

I combed through this thread for information before I made the application and one major thing I have learnt is that you must package your application very well and you will most likely get it.

Hello, house. Please my uncle is trying to process a healthcare job in the UK. He wants to submit his document to NARIC. But the transcript he has is addressed to a school in Nigeria. Can he still use it to process his NARIC?
I will appreciate your response, please.

Thank you. Thank you very much for this response. I will heed your advice.

Would you or anyone here happen to have sites they can recommend for placements please?

10KBI doesn't offer a year placement. It's a standard summer internship. Any further extension or permanent offer is between you and the company after the program. Some secure almost-immediate extension but a friend of mine even had a year interval before the company finalised their permanent offer to her but she's now in a City Investment Bank so it was worth it lol.

Anyway, to your case specifically - I'd say if it's possible based on the requirements of your course, work on securing a placement that starts after your 10kBI internship ends. That's the best way to maximise things, in my view. If the company you do the 10kBI wants to retain you afterward, you can work on switching if that's possible. But even if it's not, make sure to leave a great impression and build contacts at the 10kBI place so you can have a leg in the door when you're applying for a permanent role after your placement.

Best of luck.

Hi. I need advice please. I got a number of interviews from companies with 10,000 black interns for my placement year but they are not offering more than 8 week.
My placement year is supposed to run for 1 year. What do I do please?

I can't emphasise the bolded enough.

10,000 black interns is an EXCELLENT program and if you get in and perform well, you can be reasonably certain of a permanent role - based on the experience of a few of my friends.

Might not apply to the OP because the last application cycle is closed till around July or so next year but anyone who's looking for an internship or even a route to a permanent role in top firms should definitely apply whenever its open.
Good afternoon all.
Please I need clarifications. I am a single mother of one; I lost my husband earlier this year.

I am currently in the UK but I want to my mother to bring my son (who is less than 2 years old) in January.
1. What are the full documents required please?
2. I have paid my fees in full but I want to use the same account I used for my POF to prove my son’s own too. Is this safe? (I have enough for his own POF only)

I earnestly look forward to your responses. Thank you very much.

Couldn’t find the cost for a child until now and I made payment just a few hours ago based on the response I got.

Can someone advice me on how to apply for refund of the overpayment please?
