Best graduating student reveals how she started all over again, after Covenant University expelled in 300 level. Read her inspirational story below

https://www.instagram.com/p/BRYqy8ujq1K/?taken-by=trishlina

I've always been the type of girl who's always at a loss for the right words to express myself with but I've decided to give it a trial...
Hmmmmmmm
I'm so overwhelmed!!! I've had my share of life's ups and downs. To sum it, it really hasn't been easy for me at all...
I remember getting expelled from Covenant University in my 300 level, having to start all over at Veritas University.
I remember wanting to finish school right from the day I resumed there.
I just didn't know myself anymore...
I became a stranger to myself, you know... all because most of my secondary school mates were married with kids and were working already
I felt like a disappointment to my family...
But then God kept me going....
God never gave up on me....
My parents, sister and brothers never gave up on me...
I decided to channel my pain towards my studies....
I remember studying all night because of one test, assignment or exam!
I remember studying in hunger all because of brokage! Lol
I remember being sick almost everytime! Ulcer wasn't funny at all...
Despite all these and many more, I wanted to make it, to make MUMMY and DADDY proud... I wanted to make them forget my past mistakes...
Now look, I made it!!!
Please tell MUMMY, DADDY, OMO, EHIS and EMMA that I made it...
I graduated with a First Class Degree...
God made it happen.
God told me to work hard and always be a good girl and I tried my best....
Truly, it isn't how FAR, but how WELL!!! Three Awards, like reallyhuh

And this has to be in the front page when a lot are there to benefit the teeming unemployed youths...and you people are shouting you are the tomorrow leaders, the network providers company are making their cool money and you are busy ranting their names as if they were giving the data our for free. The moderators too on this forum are not in any way helping matters only to ban those that confront them and encourage shits all the time, since I saw this early in the morning, I have kept wondering what sort of tomorrow leaders are these ones when what they discuss is cheap matters thereby turning themselves to cheapskate, nonentity and scallywags.

Webmasters › Re: 8 Things I Have Learnt From 3 Months Of Blogging by castrol180(m): 3:05pm On Mar 06, 2017
Victorez007:
8 Things I Have Learnt From 3 months of blogging!

When I first started blogging three
months ago, I was super excited, I tell
you. I was excited to meet new people,
get new opportunities and expand my
thinking. But after 3 months, I
realized that most of all the things I
hoped for when I first started blogging
isn’t as I thought it would be. Today, I
present, “8 things I learned in 3
months of blogging”.
1. YOU DON’T MEET PEOPLE
Yes, I am exaggerating this a little bit,
but in the three months of blogging, I
made one friend and a few
acquaintances. Unless you go out and
reach out to other people yourself,
they won’t come to you. I have made a
wonderful friend, , who also has a
blog called Shoutmeloud. Meeting
and making friends is probably one of
the most important thing when you’re
blogging and to meet people, you’ve got
to reach out.

2. THOUSANDS OF VIEWS? YEAH RIGHT

Seriously, when I first started blogging,
I thought that I was going to be big.
No kidding, I was so proud of
everything I did and I was sure that
thousands of people were going to
come read my blog every day. Well,
let’s just say that it took me 3 months
to reach 200k views, and I’m
pretty sure mine were counted as well.
People don’t just find your blog out of
the blue, it takes time for people to
find links that you post and take the
time to read your blog; I found that
out the hard way.

3. THEY ARE ALWAYS BETTER THAN YOU

To be honest, every time I finish
customizing a part of my website, I
always thought that people were going
to look at my blog and fall in love with
the design. Truth be told, a few days
later, I end up changing the design
because I get sick of it. When I look at
a blog who has an amazing design and
graphics, I get the urge to change my
website even better than them. Of
course, it ends up that the blogger has
been blogging for six years and they
learned code. I always have remind
myself to not compare my beginning
with someone’s middle.

4. YOU WON’T ALWAYS HAVE BLOG
POST IDEAS

Recently, I was in a serious writer’s
block and I was absolutely clueless on
what to write about. I wasn’t traveling
nor going anywhere because of school
and other issues. What I found helpful
is that I found something to do with
my blog to keep me occupied. I re-
designed the whole entire blog from
top to bottom, and I felt refreshed. It
gave me inspiration and new ideas for
a blog post, and I really recommend to
bloggers that when they’re in a
writer’s block, just let it go and find
something to occupy yourself.

5. IT’S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BECOME
A PART-TIME BLOGGER

This is definitely a personal point, but
I am borderline obsessed with my blog.
It is currently 12:30 AM and I just
came up with this post ideas so I
started writing. I stay up late at night
customizing and fixing my blog and
honestly, I love it so much. I wanted to
become a part-time blogger with school
full time and maybe a job, but I don’t
think it will be possible for me to do
so when I’m staying up this late doing
my blog and it’s still harmattan.

6. COLLABORATIONS COME IN LATER...MUCH LATER

. I thought that creating a blog would
help me collaborate with more brands,
but boy was I wrong. There are so
many, thousands, of other bloggers
with much better content, traffic and
everything overall. It takes time for
your blog to build it and when you do,
that’s the later.

7. EVERYTHING YOU SEE BECOMES A
TOPIC

If I am at target and I see a nice
picture, if I learn an amazing technique
on TV, everything becomes a topic for
my blog posts. Everything is an
inspiration and it keeps your head
rolling about a topic. You’re
consistently inspired by the small
things and you can’t wait to go home
and start writing. That is definitely a
habit that I learned I had recently, and
I am standing tall and proud. Yup,
bloggers, don’t be ashamed! (I am half
asleep right now and I have no idea
what I’m writing)

8. IT’S BIGGER THAN YOU THINK

Visit my blog here www.victorezblog.com.ng

When I first entered the “blogging
world”, I never imagined it to be so
big. I guess I thought that blogging was
old since I first did it when I was 15, but there’s a
really, really big world out there and I
am so excited on what it will bring
me. It’s like a book that keeps on
getting exciting and you just can’t let
go. It’s a really big world and in all
honesty, I can’t wait to go out there.

These are my experiences, you can add yours!

Romance › Re: How To Mould The "PERFECT MAN" by castrol180(m): 1:33pm On Mar 05, 2017
Amarabae:
Good day friends, This is my first topic on this wonderful forum.
I love maturity and will love matured comments.
Lets go.
- "Nothing like a perfect Man"- 70% of ladies have this convinction firmly,
Are you suprised?many ladies have experienced nightmares in the hand of a man they perceived as Perfect.
The raw truth is that "THERE IS NO ALREADY MADE PERFECT MAN" but rather you can mould an imperfect guy into perfection.
Sometimes, we ladies underrate the high amount of influentiality we have on Menfolk.
YES, A woman can control a man, this topic will look at 5 Ways at how a woman can harness such a controlling ability to mould a PERFECT MAN.
...
1. MANAGE HIS WEAKNESS:- is he a stammerer?a disabled?timid?poor in dressing?extreme introvert?etc .
Sweetheart, manage it! Don't feed on it,rather with love, it can be handled and corrected.. Stop putting him on the spotlight all the time.
...

2. BE PART OF HIS VISION: You have to cheer him up, and play a role in any legitimate visionary project that he is handling.
He will appreciate it.
....

3. BUILD UP HIS CONFIDENCE:- He embark on a project and fail, build him up with encouraging ideas.
The confidence level should not be low while you are there.
Be his psychologist and councillor.
....

4. SCOLD HIM:- This is very important, a perfect man is a responsible man.
If he fails to live up to his responsibilities on anything, confront it.
Don't look the other way, let him know where he failed and how to correct himself. Scold him. Do it.
....

5. INSTILL A FINANCIAL SAVING LIFESTYLE IN HIM :- Don't be the party type all the time, maybe he earns below 100k a month, yet you are expecting him to be spending up to 250k on you monthly.
It sucks. Do you dream of buying a new house or business empire with him?
Then instill in him how to save up.
Love you all.
...
Amarabae, please come and mould me

Hassan Langat was caught having sex with
his dead daughter after entering a room to
check on her body.
A 45-year-old man, Hassan
Langat, who lives in Molo
Township, Kenya, has paid with
his life after a mob caught him
sleeping with his teenage
daughter’s corpse.
The teenager, who was a class six pupil
before her passing had reportedly died
from a brain tumour disease.
Upon her demise, her father ordered that
the corpse be kept in a separate room, but
he had ulterior motives which has now
led to his death.
NairobiWire reported that Langat was
taken to the St. Joseph Hospital, Elburgon
where he gave up the ghost while
receiving treatment.
Joseph Ngeno, the Sarambei Sub-Location
Assistant Chief confirmed the incident
stating that the girl’s body was being
prepared to be moved to the mortuary
when her father pounced on her corpse.
“The girl’s body was taken to a separate
house in line with Kalenjin traditions as the
family waited to transfer it to the
mortuary,” Ngeno said.

Crime › Why I’ve Been Having Sex With Chicken, A Kenya Man Shocks Court by castrol180(op): 2:41pm On Mar 01, 2017
A man in Bungoma shocked a court of law when he admitted that he has been having sex with chicken, and went on to give the reasons why. The 18-year-old man identified as Kevin Simiyu told Principal Magistrate Stephen Mogute that he has been having sex with hens because he is despised by women due to his poverty. “Your Honour, I was caught defiling the hen by its owner. I fear approaching women because of the high level of poverty and I feel women are very expensive. Yes, I did it,” he told the court. According to the charge sheet, Simiyu, who is not married, was caught defiling the chicken at around 7pm at Nandolia village near Nzoia Sugar Company in Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma County, Kenya. Apparently, the hen died from exhaustion. The court ruled that Simiyu be sent to Bungoma GK prison until March 2 when a verdict will be delivered.
