LordBaelish: So in essence an increase in Tbills means a decrease in MMF's? No! increase in Tbills rate lead to increase in money market rate |

18% may not be possible for now, the rates may continue to drop until the end of the second quarter. You can just go for 182days bill in the next auction because money market mutual fund will have a positive correlation with drop in tbill yields. |

Justcul: My earlier post with regard to related question... page 902 of this thread.
First you have to open an online stockbroking account with any firm of your choice (recommended by oga's here, visit: www.morgancapitalgroup.com). fill the application form, sign and send it back to them. Next step, they will contact you with your login and cscs account details.
Final step; deposit your funds (money grin) into the account provided to you by Morgan... call or mail them to inform them of your deposit..
Lastly; buy/sell whatever you want on floor of nigeria stock exchange via morgan.. cheers!
Hope it helps.. I remain loyal to our oga's @d top! Thanks |

Manonamission: It's most likely the address used was that of his broker. In the past, it was not uncommon to have investors who prefer to pick up warrants from their stockbrokers. That said, it's most definitely an address issue. He should approach Zenith Registrars to reclaim outstanding dividend warrants if it hasn't been tampered with. You might not be able to confirm what his other stock holdings are except he authorizes you to act on his behalf. You don't have that privilege. A registrar that knows his job will only instruct you on steps to take. Children of nowadays have gone gangstar thank you |

OakPearl: The bolded refers pls. Kindly follow the link below, type your Dad's full names and search. All companies he owns shares in will appear with their respective registrars. Then you approach each registrar to regularise all unclaimed dividends via an e-dividend mandate form that will be issued to him. You may search with your name as well...u never know if he bought for you too as an infant.

Kingchuks: You can contact: Zenith Registrars Limited 89 Ajose Adeogun Street Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria Phone: 234-1-2708930-4 enquiry@zenithregistrars.com It is most likely that your puppsy will be required to complete and submit e-dividend mandate to Zenit registrar and his dividends will be processed and paid. About getting other stocks in his portfolio, you will need to talk to a broker. U can get in touch with Meristem, Morgan,TRW, etc. OK thanks, suppose regency stock brokers have been suspended can he still transfer the shares to other active brokers? |

flexshop: Honestly I'm not in position to answer that question because of the way I trade. I use technicals but my trading time frame is short term ie 1-2months max. I make 100percent on rare occasion so I'm not an authority here. lols appeal to irrelevant authority. |

latyph: Please can someone kindly explain to me the idea behind interest being paid twice a year or quarterly. Does it mean that if the interest rate is say 12%, the 12% will be paid 2 times in a year? or the 12% will be broken down into 6% paid twice to make 12? Thanks. 12% interest is for the whole year, so if interest is paid twice in a year it mean 12/2=6% every six months and also if interest payout is quarterly it results to 12/4=3% payout every three months. |
