When you go to the international scene , you will see that iPhone 5s is the in thing around town . Then the Note 3 comes right behind it , this votes were cast by real users of the phones ; not some wannabes that only dream of owning one in their state of psychological convulsion .

How do I upgrade my samsung s3 SGH-T999 with 2gig ram to jelly bean 4.2.2 or 4.3 kit kat (if it's out).. It's my first android phone, been a month old and so I havnt really seemed to settle in to how those things are done (it's at version 4.1.1) at d moment...

also my phone only has allowance to switch from edge to 4g directly automatically or manually... No 3g or 3.5g In between and sometimes it sucks cos of battery.. why is that pls

can s4 battery work in s3?? I really need a stronger battery cos I'm a heavy user nd my battery fights for its life everyday

And finally, How much more cooler is yur fone wen rooted and what are d drawbacks? also where can Iget my phone rooted? Istay in onitsha, Anambra nd I don't think I know anyone who can do that here... doing it myself isn't an option either to avoid totalling my phone

stephen babs: samsung copied from apple. court ordered them to pay a fine of 280 billion dollars that is why their phones are expensive u can help them do "ADASHE". Chinese currency has no value dats why TECNO is cheap. if u want to show dat u have money buy APPLE from USA. all Andriod phones belong to GOOGLE not LG, SONY, SAMSUNG, XPERIA nor TECNO.

daverebranded: going through this thread I realised people here dono what the android o.s is..they forget its Linux based and open source.. I realised they are non geeks..I run touchwiz 5 ui on a non Samsung device... xposed installer and its modules tweaking my ROM to taste.. full ram optimization and best of utilities.... and we are here talking of brands.... try following xda a lil and just maybe u will discover that some technocrats as u call em are doing much more with the tutorials there than u that just knows the basics..

wallflower: Troll ké, stop being a fanboy, Samsung has just been riding on the success of the galaxy s2 and original note, nothing they have done since then is particularly note worthy. Look i didn't say they were bad i just said they don't have the best device, there are other android devices you could get that are on par with samsungs current flagship,

and please don't forget that touchwiv is crap.

wallflower: Babe, it all depends on what exactly you're looking for in a phone, but my advice to you would be to avoid BlackBerry OS 10 ( Z10 Q10 ..) in any case, As for Samsung Galaxy devices they're overrated, there are much better android phones you can get, Don't let anyone bulldoze you into buying a Galaxy, unless it's efizy you want then in that case buy your galaxy. I've been using android phones longer than most people here, the novelty has worn off and now I want to buy a BlackBerry to compliment my current android phone. As for camera and the rest each phones are different, Galaxy S phones don't have bad cameras or multimedia offerings but they Dont have the best either.
Oh and before you buy a Galaxy phone check it out properly Samsung has spammed the market with a multitude of Galaxy devices, so be sure you're getting exactly what you're paying for, for example: You may want a Galaxy S4 but get a S4 mini or S4 Active, also it'll do you good to know both the memory and CPU variants of the phone. liberty300: Op, I have an s4, a tab and a z10(am not bragging oo) guess the one I carry around and make use of all the time?..the z10. I download stuff with d z10 and send it to the s4 and tab. That's what android users go through. The camera is also sharp and u can edit pix with d "beautify,70's,60's" effect on ur pix.
