Tuljaking:This comment you made just shows how clueless and uninformed you are. The Galaxy S4 is Samsung's most sold phone which is a high end device likewise the iPhone 5s for Apple. Next time you want to argue on something make sure you have even a little knowledge of it. That you and your family members are brokeasses doesn't mean everyone else is poverty stricken. Speak for yourself and your family. The high end phones from the top manufacturers like Apple and Samsung always sell more units than their other lines of mid-rangers and low ends. Bloody retard!!!. |
Tuljaking:Many people can. In fact, these phone sell more than them low ends and mid-rangers. The manufacturers announce millions of units of these phones sold at the end of the day. The smaller phones never sell as much. Not everyone is like you. That you cannot afford them doesn't mean others can't. I'll always call brand enthusiasts like you zombies. |
Tuljaking:"ZOMBIE" is what I call brand enthusiasts like you. We are looking for value for money and not some brand logo that represents lame status symbol. |
martineverest:Unfortunately, Nokia has stopped making phones. Microsoft has taken over completely now. and history has shown how Microsoft always fail when it comes to things like this. |
Note line still the king of phablets. |
Nathan2222:LG G3 being the best phone in 2014 is your personal opinion. Don't use that as basis for your argument. |
Taofiq129:Make what just you wrote readable first. |
SIZE https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-5.jpg Despite having a smaller screen, the iPhone 6 Plus is 3 percent longer than the Galaxy Note 4. The iPhone 6 Plus isn't as thin as its little brother, the iPho6ne 6, but it is still 13 percent thinner than the Note 4. WEIGHT https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-29.jpg The iPhone 6 Plus is just 2 percent lighter than the Note 4. BUILD https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-1.jpg The iPhone 6 Plus has a smooth aluminum unibody build, taking some design cues from the latest (two-year-old) iPod touch. The Note 4, though comfortable to hold, is made of a faux leather plastic. The Note 4 does, however, have a metal band running around its edge. In previous Samsung devices, that band was a metallic-looking plastic. COLOURS https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-3.jpg We're looking at three color options for the iPhone 6 Plus and four for the Note 4. DISPLAY SIZE https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-7.jpg The iPhone 6 Plus is unquestionably a phablet, but its screen size hasn't quite caught up with Samsung's. The Note 4 gives you 7 percent more screen than the iPhone does. DISPLAY RESOLUTION https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-6.jpg This is the first 1080p iPhone, and it should look noticeably sharper than the 750p iPhone 6. If you want pixels, though, the Note 4 is the place to go. It has a Quad HD display that packs in 78 percent more pixels than the iPhone 6 Plus does. The iPhone's 1080p is going to be more than sharp enough for most people, but my eyes do enjoy the insane pixel density that you get from Quad HD displays. DISPLAY TYPE https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-8.jpg We're looking at an IPS panel in the iPhone, next to Super AMOLED for the Note 4. The latter always has blacker blacks and typically has higher contrast and richer colors ... but we'll need to put the iPhone 6 Plus through the paces before jumping to conclusions. STYLUS https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-26.jpg These two have a lot in common, but this might be the biggest point of difference. Though you can swipe and tap the Note's screen with your finger, the Galaxy Note experience centers around Samsung's stylus, the S Pen. Samsung says that this newest S Pen has double the pressure sensitivity of the one we saw in the Note 3. FINGER PRINT SENSOR https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-10.jpg Both phablets have fingerprint sensors, but the iPhone's Touch ID is more convenient. With it, you simply rest your finger on the home button for a brief moment. Samsung's sensor requires you to swipe your finger and, at least on the Galaxy S5, I often have to do it a couple times before it registers. NFC https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-16.jpg The two latest iPhones are the first to carry NFC chips. That's nothing new for Android handsets like the Galaxy Note 4. NFC PAYMENTS https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-15.jpg While services like Google Wallet and Soft Card (formerly Isis) have been trying to establish NFC-based tap-and-pay payments for years, to say they haven't set the world on fire would be a vast understatement. So while Apple Pay is hardly the first player in the NFC payments game, it could be the first to take off. The popularity of the iPhone combined with some clever marketing and leverage with retailers could be the secret sauce that the technology has been missing. BATTERY https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-31.jpg ULTRA POWER SAVING https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-27.jpg This may be the most innovative software feature Samsung has created. Ultra Power Saving Mode can prevent your Note 4 from running out of juice when things are getting tight. It basically turns your device into a multitouch feature phone, with only the bare essential apps and services available, but can stretch 10 percent juice into 24 hours of battery life. FAST CHARGING The Note 4 also has a fast charging feature, that can juice your phablet from 0 to 50 percent in "about half an hour." CAMERA https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-2.jpg OIS https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-17.jpg Apart from size and number of pixels, this is one of the few differences between the iPhones 6 and 6 Plus. This larger model has Optical Image Stabilization, to help cut down on the effects of shaky hands. The Note 4 uses this technology as well. SPLIT SCREEN MULTITASKING https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-24.jpg It's a little surprising that Apple didn't add a side-by-side multitasking mode to the large-screen iPhone 6 Plus. Samsung's Note line has offered the feature for several generations now. Samsung's Multi Window is a handy feature, and it should be a bit easier to remember now that it's tied to the Note's Recent Apps button. But its Achilles' heel is that it's only compatible with a select group of apps. ONE-HANDED MODE https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-18.jpg This is an important software feature to have on a phablet. With all of that screen, you can lose the ability to reach everything while using the device with one hand. Both of these phablets have software-based workarounds. On the iPhone, Apple lets you slide the top of the screen down to the bottom by double-tapping the home button. This ignores the issue of typing with one hand, but it should help out in most other cases. On the Note 4, a gesture shrinks the entire screen down to a manageable one-handed size. This has the advantage of shrinking the keyboard as well. STORAGE https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-25.jpg Storage options are mixed, with the iPhone starting lower, but maxing out with a more spacious 128 GB option. MICRO SD CARD The Note 4 can help to make up for that, though, with its microSD card slot. PROSESSOR https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-4.jpg It's too early to have much to say about the new iPhones' A8 chip, but it goes up against the zippy Snapdragon 805. The LTE version of the Note 4 gets the Snapdragon 805 listed above, but the HSPA version will have an octa-core Samsung Exynos CPU in its place. RAM https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-32.jpg INFRARED https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-13.jpg Like many recent Android flagships, the Note 4 has a built-in IR blaster, letting you control your TV (and cable/satellite box) with your device. VIRTUAL REALITY https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-28.jpg If you want to step into the Matrix, then the Note 4 can help. It's the only device that's compatible with Samsung's new Gear VR headset. SMART WATCH COMPATIBILITY https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-22.jpg There are other smartwatches that are compatible with each platform, but these are the most popular choices. A recent iPhone, like the 6 Plus, will be required for using the upcoming Apple Watch, while Android handsets like the Note 4 are needed to pair with Android Wear watches (like the Moto 360). The Note 4 also plays nicely with Samsung's line of Gear watches. SOFTWARE https://images.gizmag.com/inline/galaxy-note-4-vs-iphone-6-plus-23.jpg The new iPhones will launch alongside iOS 8, which, among other changes, finally brings third-party keyboards to iOS. The Note 4 runs Android 4.4 KitKat at its core, with Samsung's TouchWiz UI sitting between you and it. Which is the better phone? |
Hey all!! Could anyone here help me with the PANS. anthem lyrics? Would be very grateful if I got it soonest. Thanks. |
dmcdad: Yeah... I accept the fact that they are dragging when it comes to incorporating certain things in their devices. But come to think of it, they only go into something when they feel it would be ultimately needed. Take NFC for example, how many of the competitors have been able to do something tremendous with it? Aside normal payments which passbook could do and/or other sharing, they have not been able to do something significant with it. But Apple arrived the party late, but with a purpose. To make it completely usable and by integrating it in Apple Pay. Take another example, the Apple Watch. Sammy released their 5th or 6th alongside the Note 4. And as usual, Apple arrived late to the party, but they have revolutionised the smart watch industry with just their first offering. Something the likes of Sammy couldn't do even with their 5th or 6th offering. So, I have discovered one thing with Apple, if we can't perfect it, then it's better we don't do it. Simple! They don't rush because of the competition, they take their time to make it right. Imagine that Apple came out with Touch ID, and in Samsung's next offering (S5) they did same. Apple's Touch ID smokes theirs hands-down. Remember what they said when Apple introduced the A7 SoC with a 64bit desktop-class architecture? They all said it was a marketing gimmick. Today they are all incorporating it in ther devices. You keep talking about revolution. But you cannot explain how the revolution occurred. These devices haven't hit the shelves yet, there's been no experience and reviews from users from the people and you're talking about dirty revolution?? |
collinsobinna: What android phone can tell you how many stairs you climbed or how long you sat down in a day. Or recommend how many hours of work out that you need to do. C'mon lets be honest.Samsung galaxy S4, note 2, note 3, S5, note 4, note edge. With the S health app since 2012. Or have an assistant like Siri that can read your mails, laugh with you, tell you about the weather. All android phones, with the Google Now voice assistant. Or have an accessory like the I watch that you can leave at home.yet still be able to use with your iPhone. No distance limit.Numerous android phones. Notably Samsung with the gear smart watch series. Or have sapphire glass as surface that is the second hardest substance after diamond. The iPhone now uses gorilla glass. What android flagships have been using since 2011. Or has the ability to create slow motion videos and time lapse videos.Virtually all android flagships, Starting with the note 3, shoot slow motion videos. iFans, WELCOME TO 2014!!!! It's called "Family" for a reason. Hat they are not related by blood is not enough reason. This only shows that even if they were blood, they would still have had a secret affair. |
Tommybob: Pls,,, anyone here who can help me with the link to the site, where i can download free e-txtbooks for 100lvl pharm courses.... Jst any plsssssTip: You don't really study pharmacy in 100lvl till you get to 200lvl. 100lvl is what we call pre-pharm (we call them pseudo-pharm actually ) in my school where you offer natural science courses. Sort of like a qualification round. You should be looking for 100lvl natural sciences courses materials. |
all4naija: Only primitive and ignorant men want women to be subjected to oppression. If that is what some guys are asking for here, I am not a part of that! This dude is trying way too hard to gain love from them ladies on here. Isn't it too obvious man? ![]() |
Abu Mikey:Staying up to watch his return was worth it after all ![]() |
Akainzo: You are quite a character! I have been pointing out the good points of a BlackBerry Z30 phone, on a BlackBerry Z30 thread and you come around shouting "Troll" at me for disproving your Samsung is better statements? Haba, get a better understanding of things before you post.Sentiments? Facts rather. Every popular review agrees with me. Every true techie knows that going from a GS4 to a Z30 is a downgrade. The GS4 is better than Z30 in atleast 97% of the aspects. Only fanboys or 'brand enthusiasts' as you call it, will disagree. |
all4naija: What have you to say about male chauvinism? Is it some movement? Do you see men go topless to protest on the streets for? Or you see males using it as a tool to be heard by the society? Chauvinistic BEHAVIOR ( yes, it is a behaviour) is one that can be possessed by both sexes. Your argument my friend, is invalid. |
hmm.. you have issues. me, i'm a feminist for life. Why do you feel threatened? everyone is entitled to their ideology whether na christianity abi islam abi conservative, liberal, feminist, vegeterian or pagan. 4 real. although I think everyone should be feminist. all men included we should all be feminist.I don't "feel" oppressed. But I do believe that things could be much better for women in this world. I read a lot so I know how things were, how things are, and how things could be. if you want to start an anti-women campaign. u r free to do so. start by joining senator yerima in forcing little girls into marriage. instead of providing education and a future for them.
Threatened? Not at all. I just find it ridiculous that a bunch of power hungry people could be this greedy. Feminism doesn't seek equality but superiority which is my problem. You feminist are blinded to the fact that the present day society offers more benefits to the females than males. |
Akainzo: Immersed in your above quotes are clear and blatant lies. The Power button of the Z30 had to be literally threatened, kai, you are lost in your own world! In your own words(edited): "Sure you have experienced any of these problems on your Z30 (really doubt tho), and good for you. However many have these problems on their Z30 so what is the issue. Google is still your friend and available on the Z30, use it." Learn my friend. The system learns what you have instructed. It automatically linked 2 contacts, you the owner, went ahead and unlinked them, it therefore learns this and never links them again. What is so hard to understand about this philosophy? There should be ability of automatic linking subsequently even after first time unlinking. This is indeed a problem. Admit it. And no, update didn't fix shit. This is a phone I actually owned. Just so you know. Hmmm, no facts just personal opinions seeing as the 2 flagships of Android uses the same thing as Z30 but you cover its with the above. Enuff said.anti-reflection absorption increases with higher PPI, chance higher aspect ratio. Except that you fail to also note that some also do not have the External storage. But address different needs, you need tons of games stored get a 32/64GB phone, many do not buy phones for games once they start being immersed in serious work.Higher internal storage variants are meant to compensate for lack of external storage. Who the hell prioritizes games? There are lots utility, sports, banking, news, educational apps that makes life easier for one (games too are important of course). These apps and games take lots of space hence larger internal storage is very much needed. I wonder why you concluded I buy phones for games. .Granted you didn't use "laggy" directly, however you said "buggy and crashing" and that only results in lag. Or are there any other consequences to apps being buggy and crashing or than the device becoming laggy and unstable?Yes, there was UI lag atimes. The bug reporter that pops up every 2-3 hours (which is really annoying) is an indication that BLACKBERRY did t in preparation for the buggy UI. You want to know the bugs? The lockscreen sometimes freezes, camera app randomly crashes and Blackberry Hub also freezes often, especially when you’re trying to reply twitter messages right from the hub. In fact, within my first few hours of handling the Z30, I had to restart the device at least thrice to fix Blackberry Hub. I don’t have photo op proof for these so you’ll just have to take my word for it. I also had to do dozens of reruns for my benchmark tests as the OS kept crashing, obviously because the Z30′s CPU is easily overworked (Reason why those specs are important and why you may just be overrating BB's software optimization bto its hardware. BB OS ain't no iOS man. You wish) What was app count in the Google playstore after one year? What was the count in the Windows Store after one year? The app situation is a classic chicken an egg case, the dev wont come except the platform gain traction; the platform wont gain platform except the apps are there. My poit exactly. The platform is not attractive enough to attract developers and that's because BB is not doing their home work. Google has declined to develop for BB for these same reasons. Androids app count one after it was made open source? I can't tell but, what I know is that the app ecosystem grew way faster than that of BB in the same time frame. You are irredeemable. There is a difference between announcing sales figures and ales figures announced at an Earning Call. Sales figures are normal routine and is at the discretion of the company to announce, however at Earning Call / Quarter disclosures, this are statutory mandates to back up financial figures for that SPECIFIC QUARTER not the ongoing business. You speak as though the sales figures do not relate o the earning call. Z30 has had disappointing sales (use Google) which was that initial argument. Sure you have experienced no lag on your GS4, and good for you. However many have experienced lag on their GS4 so what is the issue. Google is still your friend and available on the GS4, use it.This only further proves my point that the so clled BB optimization is overrated if the same HD games that run on my GS4 constantly crash on the Z30. Hmmm, not everyone is cheating. It is the hallmark of thieves to want o generalize. Show me where BB is cheating otherwise NOT EVERYONE IS CHEATING.Every phone manufacturer cheats but that's argument for another day. Benchmarks? Not so important but Specs matter a lot. My previous replies in this post have proven that. Even the iOS that is hailed for optimization is disadvantaged in some areas for not having some of these top notch specs. |
well, responding to you is like trying to explain to a mad man on the street the health benefits of taking a bath. not worth my time
That's the oldest trick in the book used for dodging arguments. bukatyne: Responsible in what way?Responsible because it's a female we are talking about here. Don't you get ?Haha...you got to love the feminist logic here. What a bunch of clowns. ![]() |
This of course is the reason behind the problem that nobody is talking about. A man doesn't have the sole right to be the breadwinner in the home. If there are more female breadwinners, this problem will not affect women disproportionately. This is why I support feminism. Even a single mother will not have this kind of problem. because she will have a job at least and not depend on any man. we like to talk about how "low" divorce rates are in naija when in reality many women are staying in torturous or loveless marriages so that they will "save face" not become beggars on the street. There should be a way to do more for women. At least a man can throw his wife out of his home when he is no longer interested or pretend she doesn't exist while he carries on a relationship elsewhere. women almost always have to endure. If they divorce, they become the subject of what this thread is about. there is no safety net for them unless they find a source of stable income or can find another man right away. It is that period in between that is very dangerous.
Feminism is just stupid. Jut a bunch of greedy and selfish bunch of females seeking for privileges they do not deserve. They can't even give you valid reasons when you ask them why they are feminist. When you ask feminists what legal rights that men have, and women are denied. You will likely get nothing valid. But when you ask the reverse you are likely to get a long list. Thus MRA's have a good reason for being around while feminists do not. And the fact that women have more rights then men, and feminists are still fighting for clearly sexist laws, only proves that feminists are not what they claim to be, and proves that they are as their name implies which is a special interest group. For example, Men do not have the same reproduction rights as women. In the case of unwanted pregnancies: If a man does not want a child and the woman does she can just have the baby anyways and force the man to support that child for 18 years. Now if a man wants the child and the woman does not, she can just abort it anyways. In short men have no reproduction rights. Also AA, and EO stands for Affirmative Action, and Equal Opportunity.Feminism would make sense if if fought for equality (??), but it seeks superiority which is plain s.stupid and selfish. |
paris10: Just because women are now achievers and bread winners doesn't make the man less a man. A man, well, a real man should handle his business. And just because your wife works does not exclude you from providing for the family. Men are now becoming lazy and expecting their working wives to provide for the house. Same logic applies to marriage and divorce. What happens to the men of old who would do anything to protect their women? After reading all dry your posts on this thread, initially I declined to comment, but it's obvious at this point that you are a simply a frustrated 'Man Hater' and one of those wannabe feminists. Get a life really. |
Bussyy1: Glad 2 b here. V jst bin admitted 2 study pharmacy @ unijosCongrats man. I guess I'll be you senior college there . I'm also in unijos pharmacy school. Welcome bro. |
maxtreme: This doesn't sound like hate, I love samsung but I'm a realist to the core.WRONG!!!!!! Sagem is now infinix not tecno. Besides, Sagem was never a Chinese OEM. Again, higher sales doesn't always relate to higher profits. Has tecno has nver anouced their profits so how do you know this? Official records still show that Samsung has the largest market share in Africa. |
Geestunnar: blah blah we av heard dis ish over n over, we need new ISHDoesn't change the fact. Sammy sees 40 million units sold of a device that costs over $600 as a disappointment. Tecno sees selling a few thousands of an entire line of products as success. The difference is clear. |
