Well Jehovah is a transliteration of the four consonants "YHWH" just as the name "Jesus" is also a transliteration of the word "Yehoshua"

So the point here is that the God of Abraham has a specific name not Elohim!

Elohim means "my God" and since each person isn't talking about the same God it means those called elohim are many:

I know you're trying to change the subject by mentioning Jehovah's Witnesses so everyone may pick one thing or another against JWs but please stay on course!

So names like Samuel, Daniel, Ezekiel and so on has to do with Elohim.

What does GABRIEL mean?
What does BETHEL mean?

Please I write to seek knowledge on a topic which distressed me. This is the dichotomy between the God of the new testament and God in the old testament of our holy Bible.
The God in the Old testament comes across as very angry over issues,while the God of new testament comes across as kind and loving . Benevolent, forgiving, blessing and the father of all creation,while the old testament of the Bible reflects God as only for the nation of Israel. I welcome any explanation with Bible passages to enlighten
