Please I beg you all in the name of the Lord, kindly recommend to me a good and competent Rewire that is very good with Benz cars.

You are very very very right. The security was faulty so I asked the rewire to remove it,then it started a little then stopped,so we reprogrammed the car and everything started working fine. Thanks a lot.

It's P1999

I just scanned again today with a good scanner and I got the error code P1999 . Please what does that mean

This is surely not the code
That's the version of software for Mercedes Benz installed the scanner.

The expected code should be something like
Pxxx, Bxxx, Cxxx etc like that

e.g. P0300, P0018 etc

That means the rewire doesn't know how to use the scanner,

Sometimes when there is an issue with the ABS/ESP/SBC, you get that notification on thr dashboard.

Does the instrument cluster show the gear the transmission? I mean is the cluster showing kf it in Park or Reverse or Neutral, drive etc?

Saw it when i scanned my Car today

I wish I saw this earlier, would have taken the pics. the security light is a small black device very close to where the light switch is,just on top.
The car was scanned today and got this code Mercedes Benz v46.70
When i googled that code it brought pictures of an ignition coil.

So the Car has been scanned today and it came with this Mercedes Benz V46.70.
What does that men please?

How is that possible? The key turns in the ignition and all the dashboard lights come up and other car lights,it's for the engine to start is where the problem is

So i asked My Rewire to help me check why my car was draining the battery, and he said that he would install one device like that that would shut down the system when I parked the car.
The issue now is the car is not starting again, I asked him to return the car to the previous state but still not cranking.
I noticed that the red security light still blinks even when the keyfob is in the ignition.
When I start the car I see REDUCED BREAKING POWER START THE ENGINE showing on the dashboard but the engine won't start.
Someone said that it could be that the secondary battery of the car is low and that we should charge it, that that could cause the problem.
Right now I am so perplexed, don't know how just a simple fix can affect the car not starting.

Well, since according to you, it only vibrates when it's on idle mode, I'll advise you to have you mechanic perform a routine check on your spark plugs and fuel injectors. There's a big chance one of them is not firing properly.

You can also have him check your all the hoses connected to your intake hose. If there's a leak on one or two of them, or if any of them is not well tightened, the vehicle might not work at optimum capacity, especially on idle mode.

Thirdly, check for signs of wears on your engine and transmission mounts. A couple of them might be broken.

Depending on your location, these diagnostics shouldn't cost you much. And you can run the check yourself if you have the necessary tools. Just be careful with the moving parts.

You see this removing of catalyst ? I am taking it very personal. My place is close to a mechanic village and they come around my hood to do that rubbish. I have told guys around to watch out for them. The next one i catch its kiri kiri straight...even if the owner intervenes he must reach kiri kiri.See except you get the follow come catalyst for the 4 which can cost you about 800k that ride will never be the same.Thank Goodness mine is still intatct.

I discovered that my Catalyst had been stolen but I didn't know on time since the car didn't make a loud noise.
But the panel beater showed me that they had removed the 4 catalysts.
Now my question is this, can this Catalyst really affect the car to consume fuel like that? The Panel told me that that is why my car is consuming fuel but I don't believe it, How can I spend about 4 litters just warming the car and not moving it out o.

Pls I need help. My rewire came to do some fix on my car since yesterday the car will just roll and stop,he said that it is fuel ,I bought 10liters and still doing thesame thing. In fact I am stuck at the filling station now. He said that he is coming though but before he gets here I want to be sure what the issue could be.
