Uzoho is recovers from injury

Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has returned to training with LaLiga 2 side Elche after recovering from an injury he suffered early last month, AOIFootball.com reports.
The 20-year-old was injured in his side’s 5-1 loss to Cadiz on the 4th of November, forcing him to miss Nigeria’s AFCON qualifier against South Africa in Johannesburg and the friendly against Uganda in Asaba.
He, however, confirmed his return on his Instagram page after posting a picture of him in training with the caption “I am back in business. In Christ alone”.
Uzoho’s return will come as a boost for head coach Pacheta who will be happy to have the Nigerian back in goal with his side failing to win any of their three matches he missed.
The young lad has kept two clean sheets in three league matches but could, however, sit out Saturday’s clash against Cordoba. He should be in contention for next weekend’s home clash against Sporting Gijon.

Three La Liga appearances. Two La Liga goals. 28th October • Scores twice for Villarreal B 11th November • First La Liga goal 20th November • International debut 25th November • Second La Liga goal Nigeria's Samuel Chukwueze (19) won't be forgetting this month in a hurry.

I can say he has sealed it by 60 %, he is currently benching Nicolas Sansone, the Sansone guy hasn't been impressive this season.

mazimee:
Is it too early to say that Chukwueze has sealed a first team starting XI at Villarreal with just 3 L'àliga games?

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m):
His chance is very much brighter than that of Nwakali, I wish Kelechi Nwakali is watching both Chukwueze and Osimhen to know football is not based on past glory and under-17 MVP, he should enter the next flight to Belgium come January and look for a club in the Belgium Pro league to sign him.

daveP:
So Chukwueze has a brighter chance of going to Cameroun than Nwakali!? Isokay.

Sorry for adding the word "said" but I meant you don't rate Chukwueze at all

It should not be too hard, you have made the allegation and claim. PROVE IT.

Komekn said he doesn't rate him at all

Mickael2:
I believe this has been a huge misunderstanding. I for one will tag Samu a huge talent but will I put him in the same bracket as Mbappe? No way na, and they are almost of the same age which is what I genuinely believe Komekn is saying too but here once you oppose a particular set of people you become the enemy, even if you whistle then it means you must have whistled because you don't like so so and so player, it is annoying
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 7:41pm On Nov 19, 2018
Is Josh Maja a huge talent?

komekn:
Firstly, I have absolutely nothing against him.

I think he a a very promising young player go back into my posts. And state what I said about him, I actually commended him and that's ages ago.

But of course the prejudiced negatively biased and Superdelusuional gang. Will not see that.

All I have said he was not impressive in the one game. I did not use that game to summarise his season or assess him.

Someone called him HUGE TALENT and l asked why ❓ That's all.

But too many people have jumped on the comedy train without knowing where the train has come from or is going.

I decided to indulge some of them. Lol
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 7:39pm On Nov 19, 2018
That's your business if you don't rate him

komekn:
We are back to the same question ❓ let me intrinsically clear,, I HAVE NOT RATED HIM. In all honesty my rating or opinion with regard to him amounts to ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It's way too early IMO to be making ratings. He has played just two games in La Liga.

Nonetheless, to be clear. I have watched him only once and that was the Glasgow Rangers game. I said and I say again in that game he was simply not impressive and in that game alone. I have no other deductions.

I haven't made any other opinion general or otherwise

I then asked the question what makes him a HUGE TALENT and then there has been a huge barrage of rhetoric some vitriolic by the Superdelusuional ones mostly.

If I haven't seen much of him, is it not a fair and balanced ❓ to ask what's all the fuss about.huh Or what do you think.huhhuh

You can't use one match to conclude about a player positive or negative. Even a 10 games is far from conclusive generally speaking unless that player is doing the AMAZING.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 3:24pm On Nov 19, 2018
The reverse is the case, because you are the person who doesn't see anything good about players from Nigeria.

komekn:
Your blinded prejudiced irrational negativity renders you incapable of being objective.

You have made a whole series of assumptions but not under pinned with anything to prove your point.

Beyond your own self birthed opinion.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 3:17pm On Nov 19, 2018
I am not joining any bandwagon , how many footballers have you seen perform magic on their debut in top flight football?

komekn:
Once again you are joining a band wagon of negative not well-thought out presumptions.

I said he was not impressive, which he was not. No addition no subtraction.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 3:16pm On Nov 19, 2018
Your biasness and hate for Indigenous Nigerian footballers is getting out of hand, how I wish there is no switching of nationality in international football so you won't be bombing us with your praises of British footballers of Nigerian heritage here so we can use the players that were born and bred in Nigeria. angry

komekn:
If your blinded by the negative you can't see the objective.

Consider the context Glasgow Rangers is in the Scottish league rated number 20 in Europe and Villareal league La Liga is rated number 1 by UEFA.

So taken in context the comparison is that Glasgow Rangers is lowly rated in comparison to Villarreal . Rangers didn't expect to win or even get a draw. They are the weaker team on paper. So the performance of Rangers was a bit of an upset.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by cc12(m): 3:09pm On Nov 19, 2018
So you expected Chukwueze to be the man of the match or be very magical in his first professional match in top flight football against Rangers of Scotland.

Those names are more prevalent among the Ijaws than any other tribes in the Niger Delta

Icon4s:
I know a good number of Yorubas that bear both names as English names. Although u right ,they are actually rare compared to most other Nigerian ethnic group.

Meanwhile come to Niger-Delta where you will see names like: Shell Manager, Chevron Giant etc.

I have rated Chukwueze from the first match i saw hiim play in the 2015 FIFA U-17 world cup against the USA, I knew the boy was special, I didn't rate Kalu when i started following him when he was in AS Trencin in Slovakia, but now I rate him a bit bit he still has a lot of areas to work on.

fabyom:
Overconfident loll. They keep saying they beat us at home, of course! However, that match became a turning point for our team. It was then Rohr realized the importance of experience. He then brought Ighalo back.
South Africa will be beaten even without Iggy that is if the Success Isaac that played against Newcastle will come to the party.
I was raving for kalu before but Chukwueze is might be the real deal
