The Lazy domainer in the building ........ma first regged domains be expiring..... one year birthday in domaining

So last month made it one year since i stumbled upon this beautiful thread and decided to join the train....cool I must say it has sure been worth it, domaining lazily, registering craps at the beginning, learning along the way from the masters..........will like to say a big gracias to the bosses here for their inputs, especially boss iyke for starting this thread, though i'm the laziest serious domainer i know, no even get strength to follow namepros sef ..........still been able to make really decent bucks looking back still learning tho......if you're about to go in, yea it's worth it if you know what you're doing. Sold over 20+.... portfolio 100+

Not really....outbound whenever you can.....however, personally i prefer working days/hours

that parking stuff sha....parked some domains with bodis for like 4 months now, checked recently and saw $22, and its got me thinking recently, working on stuff.....but basically, focus on selling and on geos for quick flips, brandables for patience (big bucks)

It wasn't Chinedu.com that sold. It was actually Chidi.com that sold in 2015. BTW, wadume.com can't be that brandable to be accepted by SH. I won't accept wadume.com for free. Do you know that there are still countless 5 letters brandable name still available for registration? Wadume.com is not in any way fit at this time, maybe in 2050. There many thing wrong that name if you look at it at the brandability point of view.

You want to make money in domaining I guess, don't allow promos make you in registering quantity instead of quality, at the end you are the only one losing. I registered over 150 domains during netsol promo, of which only few can pass the great geo domain test. And many are expiring now. Funny enough 80% of this domains were gotten from expired domains. Aggressive Outbound has been done on their heads.


Secondly I am careful of the kind of registrars I use, let me tell you that most of your buyers in the U.S ist check the Whois of a domain to know the registrar and that's one of the determinant factors they consider before putting their money in line.

Some buyers even prefer to wait for a netsol domain lock to expire before they purchase.
I had a situation of a buyer been angry that I didn't tell her a domain was registered with namesilo, that she doesn't do anything apart from Godaddy.She left the domain at Dan escrow for close to a month. I was trying to sell her the second version of the same domain, and I know what I did before she agreed to buy the second one, at a reduced fee more than 60% reduction. Even till now we still communicate as we became friends after the transaction.

So why we all want to make money, let's put some factors into consideration as if we are equally the end users of such domain name.
