please i need help. i have done IELTS for the fourth time now but my problem is just reading, please guys i need help on how to break this jinx. my last ielts was LRWS... 8/6.5/7/7.5. please what can i really do to get out of this 6 zone. any other useful advice on writing will be highly welcomed. please guys don't judge me, i sincerely need your help to ace the coming test in may.

For your reading test, do some excercises from the academic module of IELTS, it is more difficult and should get your brain muscles charged for the General..(smiles) though funny but don’t disregard..

Endeavour in the General test to see the answer in the text as it is usually there almost times, word for word.. Double check to be sure..

Another hint is that the questions and their corresponding answers are usually progressive along with the paragraphs. That is to say, the answer to a Question number 4 never comes before the answer to a Question number 1 (most atimes and very close to always)

T/F/NG :

TRUE - if it is stated ‘kokokoro’ (expressly) in the passage

FALSE - if the what is stated is the passage is contrary to what is asked ( you must see it to be opposite in the passage otherwise it is NG)

NG - Question doesn’t relate to the text content.. be careful here never to use residual knowledge( stick to only the content of the passage given)

Can one use the certified copy of transcript from UNIBEN to access their degree with WES? Does it have to be original transcript? UNIBEN is asking a friend which they should send, certified copy or original transcript?

Anyone assessed their degree from Uniben? Please help

I haven’t assessed my degree from UNIBEN before but I’ve gotten couple transcripts from there for Admission processes before now.. All you have to do is give them WES address and tell them to send it to them.. They normally send original and never certified true copy.. If the prices are different which I’m not sure should be, certified true copy may just also do it if it’s to be sent by UNIBEN exams and records themselves..

@heimdall thanks I will take a look at the resolution thing, just that my printer can’t scan it all at a go so I used public printer I guess it is set up to the highest resolution...anyways it is middle of the night here if I have to buy another one I don’t mind $45 at most. They can’t get me at the stage God is above them.

They’ve said it all.. You also can play a fast one by using multiple online PDF compressors, let the output of one be the input to another.. I hope this makes sense..

Just try and split that 54pages or so into like 8 to 10, compress each unit and after you can combine the unit to become whole again..

Yes. That is what I am saying. The primary NOC you choose must be the one you have work experience in. Not what you studied in the University.

Your NOC is teaching. Look for an NOC for teachers in High School or primary school, whichever one you taught in.

how is your primary NOC now in Electrical Engineering? Even if you were teaching Electrical Engineering in a college or University, it's still an NOC for teaching that you'll choose. Let's start from there first. Not that it is the reason for the ineligibility.
Then check that you are inputting work hours per week and not per day.

I actually meant my course of study to even Masters Degree is in Electrical Engineering but I intend to use the NYSC as work experience which I did as a Basic Technology teacher.. Are you saying that my primary NOC will still be teaching?

Hi Folks, just on quick question..

My primary NOC is Electrical Engineering and I have all other things sorted including my IELTS, just my experience that the NOC is teaching as I intend to use NYSC experience as the 1 year.. My profile is returning as Ineligible. Can you kindly advise on what I may be getting wrong?

Could it be the incoherence between my Work experience and primary NOC? My IELTS overall band score is 8 tho.

Good day great people of this reputation forum the likes of justwise ,this my not be the best place for my write up but i need candid advice please.My name is Stanford ,39yrs of age from Rivers state ,married with kids.

Hopeful, I will be done with my PhD degree program in geoscience by November 2017. I have the intention of settling outside the country as a lecturer or geoscientist (i have got about 10yrs industrial experience including offshore experience) and relocating my family as soon as possible but lack the financial muscle to achieve it though my wife has been working for couple of years,her financial strength is just good enough for the family up keep.The storm in the oil and gas sector in 2015 affected my job so I started the PhD degree program ....I need advice on

1 The best way to leave the country (student visa or...)for my dream after my degree program.

2 The best county to relocate to,where getting my family over will be quicker

3 What do we think of a post doctorial research job or another PhD degree program while lecturing?

4 How about scholarship for international students?

My advice will be to try the Express Entry in Canada and the Federal Skilled program in Australia.. Those two countries can fly with your experience, I really don't have details about it so you could just check up online for all available details and make up your mind on which or both to process..
