I will say in order not to have problem at POE you should go in now, begin studies at your may start date school....when it is september you can switch if u still feel you have a reason to......
Thanks Bro..

Beginning studies at May start date is tantamount to paying of all fees and you know what that is?

My sponsor is not Lamido Sanusi ooo....

Thanks bro, One question bro, Can I defer my admission now so that I can use another schools admission for Fall semester as the TRV was actually processed for May.

Any implication to that?

Let me lift some spirits here... Never give up Comrades...

Remember that dude that came here almost spamming about no acknowledgement mail or SMS after paper submission? Yes that same guy is me...

I still never got acknowledgement mail but I tried sending multiple correction mails to CIC as advised. I did multiple times that I needed to advice my self to stop so as to avoid been seen as desperate... All that was done to forestall future mistake as I confirmed from VFS that a letter was ommited from my email username.

My medical mail was the first CIC mail I saw in my box from them and it dropped on the 14th of March with a 14 days ultimatum to report for medicals. I chose to do it in PH and went on the 23rd.

Finally, to God be the glory, Approval mail dropped yesterday on the 29th.

I applied via paper route on 25th Feb tho in Lagos.

Guess CIC now has faster processing time.

NOTICE!
IF you have been following this tread you will see many TRV gotten within TWO months but you have to note that the Fall semester which is always September is always the first, most populated and best for all new intake., so there will be alot of fall applicant processing Their TRV by now,
--There will be slightly longer time for visa processing due to magnitude of the TRV in embassy
--So try to be patient and dont expect regular durations
--Also because there are alot TRV to handle, the embassy will tends to eliminate any that is not composed enough which they would have approved on regular basis, So try to improve your tragedy and the composition of your application
Thanks for your insight.

I hope you really dont mean that, I should assume that is try and improve your strategy!

I am for Summer Semester tho, reason for the worry!

@ceemac it's quite a strange one.

Buh I think your email myt be a confusin one where a leter is mistaken for a number OR u handwritin wasn't clear enough at the back of the slips you filled at VFS...

All I can say is you chill and hope accraimigration gets the email right when it's time to communicate with you because they wil use the one you filled in the IM1294 form...

Or you can also keep mailing which I doubt would yield any returns...
Or You can go to VFS to try to get your tracking code, I believe they can help you with that.
thanks for your response, But for clarity sake...

I never said a letter was was mistaken for a number in my mail rather a letter that was supposed to complete the username was omitted. I am double sure that my Handwriting was cautiously legible in all the forms I filled, I wouldn't have gambled with such in a very important case as such..

I have my tracking code and reference number, It was with it I ascertained the delivery of my passport for processing in Accra and realized that i was supposed to get an acknowledgement email which never came... reason for the inquiry which made me discover the email inconsistency...

having said these, what do you further advice?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by ceemac: 9:48pm On Mar 04, 2016
Hello Elites in the house....

I submitted my study permit application on Thursday last week, after submission I realized I neither got SMS notification or Email acknowledgement. I waited till Monday and nothing changed, I contacted a VFS personnel via live chat on their site same Monday and he made it clear to me that an alphabet was omitted from my email address from what He could see and blamed the SMS notification failure on network issues after which He advised I mailed accra.immigration@international.gc.ca and channeled my complaints which I did same day.

Checked my mail on that same Monday Evening and realized no reply, I sent another mail to them again on Tuesday with no reply, With much curiosity, I sent them mail again on Thursday and till this moment of typing, am yet to hear from them about any possible rectification and dont wanna continue sending them mail so as not to spam their mail box...

Anybody experienced similar thing before? Kindly share and how you got it resolved.

You all should kindly suggest what my next possible move should be as this is a cogent communication route where I will also be contacted for my Medicals.

Just Curious tho, When will you be departing for Canny and will you still be using your PGD program to kill time before you resume for your Masters in Sept? Or you will just wait till around Sept before you travel? I will appreciate your answer as this will lead on a similar case in hand.

It is possible to transfer from course-based to thesis-based, but it depends on the university. You might wanna email your prospective school's program coordinator to ask.

Transferring to one university to another is possible, but think about the costs (in time and money). Keep in mind that the new school may require you to start all over again. My advice is that you should try to get into the ideal program for you even before you leave Naija.
thanks and God bless.. Just that due to some forecast, considering the present financial state of my sponsor as regards his account balance and a possible usage of those funds later in the year, I already got admission to a MEng program in Western Ontario for May which their tuition is pretty expensive and expecting Admissions decisions from U of Man and UniWindsor with considerable tuition, If By Gods grace I apply for Visa for May and it is granted and decide to defer my admission for the western University to avail me make choice in case of the others. What are the possible implications of doing such as regard the Visa issued?

I sincerely need your input
