Hello fellow nairalanders,

I recently moved into my house somewhere in Nsukka, Enugu state, and I am trying to see if I can get well water as I do not have millions for a borehole. The place is a valley and I'd like to know if being a valley makes it easier to reach water? Someone has a well at the hilltop and it is functioning very well. Does it follow that since water was reached at the hill top, it will be easier to get water down the valley?

Secondly, if I happen to get water , what is the best type of pumping machine (brand and capacity) that I can use to pump up the water and what is the price range?

It plays, bites at things, runs around, etc. I am thinking this will make training difficult because it will be hard to get him to concentrate. On the other hand, I am wondering if this is a sign that the dog will grow to be an agile security dog which is what I really want. Any opinion?

How many people actually love their job? To be honest, my job isn't so stressful, the pay is good and there is job security. I've worked there for over a decade but I'm still not happy going there every morning.
I don't feel fulfilled. Actually, I admire those who work for themselves, who work at their own pace. Anyway, the question remains, how many people are actually happy doing what they do? I'd love to hear.

I have two jobs, including one online and the two cumulatively pay 500k monthly, but truth is I dont love any of the two jobs. Farming is what gives me joy and I do it as well.

If you see the way I smiled at your last paragraph ehn? @ The bolded, if only you knew how many times I have heard that. But with each year that passes and I grow older my mind/desires haven't changed in that regard. It's a chronic lack of desire, as in the desire is non-existent and trust me I am not as young as you imagine.

As for who will look after me in old age, I honestly don't know but that's a bridge to be crossed as the years go by. I am more concerned with where I'll end up when my earthly life is over, than I am about my old age and who will look after me.

your position seems selfish. Imagine if everyone avoids having children because of sch fees, feeding etc. Btw Will you also avoid living in a house because of house rent or because of cost of building your own house? Or avoid transportation because of transport fare? Your parents raised you and now you love them and are taking care of them, this totally negates your position here. You should be praying for God who gives you children to also give you the resources to take care of them.

We gather dey bro, just device a cheaper way to feed your dog. Ease with the dog food, they are too expensive, you can good with rice, mixed with meat( chicken, beef) or fish(smoked or fresh), then add coconut oil or palm oil or Olive oil, then add vegetables. This combo is perfect for your dog. You don't need all the canned or bagged food.

I have a Caucasian which I bought when the economy was much better. Now that prices of things are rising astronomically, including dogfood and other dog accessories, I am thinking if it is actually worth it keeping a dog at this hard time. Each time I go to buy dog stuff, the prices are higher than the last time. I can bear this for my family things, but for dog too? I Iove my dog no doubt, but each time I spend for him, I reason other things that the money can take care of if I didn't have the dog and I wonder if the dog is now a liability. Anyone else in this dilemma?

So guys, I bought a gsd puppy not long ago. Turns out that the commitment is too much for me right now. Besides my landlord and neighbors don't want a dog around. Now I have to dispose of my pup. I will be disposing of her as a total package with at least a month gallant feed supply puppy food, new toy, vitamin, dog perfume, leash all worth nothing less than 20-25k. And of course, vaccination.

Therefore I will be letting it all go for 50k which is a fair deal considering all I've spent on this puppy sadly. So disappointing to let her go with all the investment.
