She also prepared and delivered the judgement that affirmed Yahaya Bello as Governor of Kogi State following the imbroglio between the APC & Yahaya Bello against James Faleke after the death of Abubakar Audu.

She prepared and delivered the judgement that affirmed ex-Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola against Ademola Adeleke in 2020, citing the absence of the Tribunal chair in one of the sittings.

Kekere-Ekun also prepared and delivered the judgement that affirmed PDP's Nyesom Wike against Dakuku Peterside in 2016, after the tribunal and Appeal Court had nullified Wike's victory and called for a fresh election.

He should have been more decisive on

1. Insecurity. Especially that Chibok girls issue. A firm & decisive action was needed.

2. Corruption. He could have done more to check it.

3. Restructuring. Areas not needing national assembly approval should have been implemented.

As a professor of law who as been in practice for decades, and a SAN, she can't tell me that she relies solely on her salary for survival.

For starters she should have her own Chambers, with young lawyers working there. She's should use her position as a Prof to get closer to politicians so her Chambers can be contracted to represent them.

I still find it very difficult to believe that a woman of her status depends totally on her salary.

The national debt is inclusive of debt owed by sub national entities. This year alone, Abia state planned to borrow N200b local debt and N200 foreign debt. That makes it N400b debt this year alone. The state has about N200b debt already from previous administration and the projected revenue is less than N150b.

So you see, Buhari and Tinubu are not the only problem. Governors like Alex Otti, Mbah of
Enugu etc with outrageous budget deficit plan are part of the problem.

If it was APC that were found in same situation,the court would have interpreted it differently.

But however, I still can't fathom the reason why a political party that is gunning for a very serious contest as Governorship election will fail to screen all the relevant sections of the law before embarking on such serious mission. Were they thinking that they could never win or what? Knowing fully well that even if you win, you can be removed by the court once the looser exploits that loopholes.

I see that as foolishness
