Myawwal: Pls can any one help me on how to do MTN welcome back without calling customer care?Calling customer care is a waste of time because it will not be done through them. Mtn stopped it for over two to three months ago. It is only done @connect stores and some other approved outlets nation wide. So, visit any of their connect stores closer to you and get it done. |

chakaz: Please, gurus in the house, I 've been experiencing this for a long time now. Each time I install good applications on 2GB memory card which is inside my E63, after sometime the memory card will corrupt and will not open until I format it. I had one that could not work again even after formating, infat that one changed from 2gb to few mb. Whenever it happens I ll loose all my apps and other vital documents. Its not as if the card is filled up or so 'cos when it normally happen, the ve not gone up to half of its capacity. Pls, guys any solution to the problem? |

malikalhaj: go to settings, more, mobile networks, access point name, press menu key (not home button), new apn, u need only fill 2 slots for Internet. ur Name which can be anything u like and ur apn which must be "web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net"Thanks for your response Bro. |

Its so frustrating how it could be that you ll be hoping on smthing and the end of the day, it ll make u look like a lier. I was at the access bank yesterday to transfer sm money but was told that the person cannot get it untill monday. I ve been wondering what could be the problem that will take them close to one week to resolve. I'm about going to the bank now to try a transation I failed to execute yesterday bcs of the network nonsense. |

Some aggrieved workers of the MTN call centre in Jos, have threatened to shut down the facilities over alleged “exploitation’’ by the management of the local station. The workers told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Jos yesterday that the communication outfit promised an upward review of their wages after confirming their appointments. “When we were recruited two years ago, we were given a flat salary of N35,000 per month with a promise that the figure would be ‘significantly increased’ after we were confirmed. “But to our dismay, we were only given a flat rate of N2,000. We find that simply unbelievable because our contemporaries in other states are paid between N100,000 and N120,000,’’ the workers claimed. A worker, who pleaded anonymity, said they were no fewer than 2,000 and insisted that they would shut down the centre if the management continued what they described as ‘organised exploitation. “We do the same work with other colleagues in Lagos, Kano and Kaduna. There is no reason why the workers in those call centres should earn more than twice our wages here. “Again, we run similar shifts. We went through similar training, so it is confusing that we should earn less than half of their own wages.’’ NAN learnt that MTN contracted a Lagos-based private firm, CNSSL Contact Centre Limited, to recruit workers for the take-off of the Call Centre in 2010. Documents made available to NAN in Jos indicated that CNSSL placed each worker on a salary of N120,000 a month instead of N35,000 the workers claimed they were receiving. The staff, who said they suspected a rip-off, also claimed that the local management made some deductions from their salaries, monies meant for rice and oil given to them by MTN during Christmas. “We know MTN usually gives such gifts free to its workers and even some customers while we were asked to pay for such items here is surprising,’’ one of the workers added. They alleged that the centres were owned by some senior managers of MTN. The staff also accused MTN of preventing them from forming a workers’ union and described the situation as ``unfair’’, saying the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Plateau Government should intervene. stephinnoyewole:That's the issue with that phone, it will never allow you to enjoy the multitasking which u normally enjoy on many symbian phones. When you want to do small thing it ll tell you memory full! I sold mine 'cos of that problem, aside that, the phone is good. Infact, you cannot improve the memory issue, just be mindful of the number of applications u run at a time. |

This glo thing is still confusing to me oh! I ve been recharging and they ve not given me any data bonus. Even yesterday I recharged N1k and nothing like that. Instead, they gave me a N100 bonus. Mehn, its anoying oh! |
