Thanx, I called CC and they said I shld wait for 48hrs before the sim reg ll be completed. I even tried what u suggested (ie calling another(s)) but it's same thing. Now, I'm waiting for it to be 48hrs.

aywhy93: The GLO Blackberry Internet Subscription (BIS) is working and rocking on PC these days provided you are using the correct Access Point (APN) settings and you can also use it on any device that allows you to edit the Access Point (APN).

The GLO BIS will work perfectly on a GLO Bolt or GLO NetPro modem but you can still use it on other 3G modems though some modems might end up not working with your GLO SIM card. I am using mine on the MTN f@stlink modem and it is working

>> Subscribe to any of the following GLO BIS with your GLO SIM (You can insert your GLO SIM into any phone to subscribe not compulsorily BlackBerry)

Monthly Plan (3GB) - text 'comonth' to '777' at #1400
Weekly Plan (700MB) - text 'coweek' to '777' at #400

>> Put the GLO SIM into your internet modem and insert it into your PC’s USB port

>> On your modem interface, click on ‘Tools’ >> ‘Options’ >> ‘Profile Management’ >> ‘New’

>> After clicking on ‘New’, fill the following in the space provided

APN: blackberry.net

Username: (leave it blank)
Password: (leave it blank)

I subscribed for comonth for N1400, while I hear somonth is N1200. What is the difference in these two plans, or is it just to dash glo extra 200, and God knows i hate dashing any netweork any 1 kobo.

The two plans give you the same 3GB and no difference if your using non BB device but different if your using a BB phone.

That kind of job requires regular training. Gadgets are being released in the market daily and all came with different configurations/settings. If the ccr is not trained on that, there is no way he/she can solve ur problems. Therefore, regular training is necessary irrespective of whether u had a training before. And field of study does not matter but what matters is your IQ.

The airtel BB plan works on any device that can connect to the internet but ur configuration settings matters alot. Your configuration settings is this; internet.ng.airtel.com for ur APN and 'internet' for username and password. When u must have gotten the settings correct, just recharge N1200 and text 'bsm to 440'

Please guys, I have been trying to get some applications from nokia store (ovi store) and it's not been easy. My memory card got corrupted and I lost most of my installed apps and I rushed to nokia/ovi store to download some of the apps I ve downloaded b4 but the download buttons ll not be highlighted (ie for the apps I ve downloaded b4 with my account). Its clearly stated that any 'wow' promo expires by 12 mid-night. It starts 6pm on friday to 12am sunday. You did not pay attention to the terms and conditions. I know MTN does many questionable things but this case is clear.

The OP encountered that problems/response from the CCR because she do not know her job as a customer care agent. That is what you see when an organisation is not consistent in what they do. Their customer care reps is nothing one should rely on because most of them do not last long on the job to master it. What the contractor incharge of the centerz does is 'sack and recruit' anytime. When one can hardly spend one year on the job b4 he or she is send packing and a new person takes over. Very few of them knows what they need to do to solve your problems when you call.

No, just put ur sim in any phone and send 'bsm to 440' and start browsing but make sure you have airtel browsing configurations set on your phone.

It's like phone is mistakenly set to offline mode, what you need to do is go to either tools or settings and then locate profiles and set it to General and your gud to go. I hope this helps.

Kindly tell me the GLO tariff plan that charges N15 and is it across borad (as in other networks)? Is there any initial charge? Like am on mtn supersaver which their first call in a day is N24 and subsquent calls to mtn numberz is N6 (ie 10k/s)

The worst thing is that when you make up to N100 call, they will tell you that you have spent like N30. Before one can meet up to a N100 target line, the person must have spend up to N250. I experienced it yesterday and I'm now watching to know if they ll repent or not. Afterall, they promised its going to last till Dec, 1st '12.

Both have same data allowance which is 1GB. So they have the same capacity in terms of download. They only differs if using it on BB

It's compatible with any browser, as long as you have the correct setting for the network (ie airtel settings)

Anybody spending his hard earned money on MTN for data services (browsing) is wasting his or her money, unless if you do not have airtel signal in your place. Why shld I waste such money while I can get 1GB for just 1.2k or 1.4k on airtel BSM or BCM? The sweetest part of it is that it works even with chinko phones. Just SEND bsm to 440 for 1.2k or bcm to 440 for 1.4k and u ll have 1GB to enjoy for 30days.

If ur having difficulty activating the service using *507#, use this; 507 to 131. That is, text 507 to 131. Its same thing.
