Of whaat use is the hundreds of millions these mumu northern governors receive every month (security votes) if they can't use it to secure the lives of the pple who elected them? When there was cultist crisis in Rivers State, Amaechi was getting N500 million monthly as security votes and he found a way to infiltrate them nd resolved the crisis (though with help from the JTF) Amechi bought patrol pickup trucks forthe JTF and gve them logistics. How many northern governor hs done that? They don't even address the press when these brutal killings happen in their states. The annoying thing is that they don't have an idea of where BH terrorist hide in their states but if GEJ farts in Abuja, they will know that very second. This shows the priority of these governors. |

Saudi cleric says women who drive risk damaging their ovaries Sun, Sep 29 12:34 PM EDT RIYADH (Reuters) - A conservative Saudi Arabian cleric has said women who drive risk damaging their ovaries and bearing children with clinical problems, countering activists who are trying to end the Islamic kingdom's male-only driving rules. A campaign calling for women to defy the ban in a protest drive on October 26 has spread rapidly online over the past week and gained support from some prominent women activists. On Sunday, the campaign's website was blocked inside the kingdom. In an interview published on Friday on the website sabq.org, Sheikh Saleh bin Saad al-Lohaidan said women aiming to overturn the ban on driving should put "reason ahead of their hearts, emotions and passions". Reuters earlier wrongly identified him as Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed al-Lohaidan, a member of the Senior Council of Scholars, one of the top religious bodies in the birthplace of Islam. By contrast, Sheikh Saleh bin Saad al-Lohaidan, the person quoted in the sabq.org report, is a judicial adviser to an association of Gulf psychologists. His comments reflect the extent of opposition to women driving among some conservatives in Saudi Arabia. "If a woman drives a car, not out of pure necessity, that could have negative physiological impacts as functional and physiological medical studies show that it automatically affects the ovaries and pushes the pelvis upwards," he told Sabq. "That is why we find those who regularly drive have children with clinical problems of varying degrees," he said. He did not cite specific medical studies to support his arguments. The ban on women driving is not backed by a specific law, but only men are granted driving licenses. Women can be fined for driving without a license but have also been detained and put on trial in the past on charges of political protest. Sheikh Abdulatif Al al-Sheikh, the head of the morality police, told Reuters a week ago that there was no text in the documents making up sharia, or Islamic law, that barred women from driving. King Abdullah has pushed some cautious reforms aimed at expanding women's freedoms in Saudi Arabia, including opening more employment opportunities for them, but he has not addressed the issue of driving. Apart from the fact that this is total b.u.l.l.Poo, what are you bringing to the table? Just sex? This is how so many ladies marry the wrong person because any man can arrange all these ridiculous criteria just to have their way with you. It is a fact that most of the marriages tha tbreak up in Nigeria are ctians marriages with more emphasis on some church doctrine rather than using your head. Marry a man who loves you, can take care of you and you can put up with his shortcomings. Every other thing is dependent on what the woman is bringing to the table. If all you are bringing is religion and sex, even if your husband is the holiest man on earth, he's not going to respect you. Thanks. |
If extremism and hypocrisy was a country, Nigeria will be the capital. Even the Europeans that brought Christianity to Nigeria are not as hypocritical as we are today. A lot of extraneous material has been added to Christianity in Naija. The gown that Jesus wore while on earth is unisex abi? The white pple wear trousers and don't condemn themselves to hell. But in Naija, we judge, criticize, and even curse people in the name of religion. The pastor of the chirch you went to is an hypocrite becos he shouldn't habe codemned you in public. Jesus feasted with sinful tax-collectors remember? |
tpacalipse: ASUU is one. And at the negotiations wit Federal Government, state universities have their representatives too. This struggle is not for federal universities alone, state schools are also included as federal government fund states. If I must tell you, state universities have collected funds from the little that federal government has released. For example, Adekunle Ajasin has collected 1.05 billion directly from federal purse from this present strike action. The tertfund being enjoyed by most Lecturers on PhD programs and those travelling for conferences and seminars came from ASUU struggles and this funds are both enjoyed by state and federal universities. So many state universities in this country would be left naked if ETF buildings are removed from their institutions. Even some state universities shud be named ETF universities, as all their buildings are products of ETF, which is also a product of ASUU struggle. So, who the hell says state universities do not benefit from this struggle? It is very unfortunate that most Nigerian students do not even know what this ASUU strike is all about. Long live ASUU. Long live Nigeria. The funding for tertiary institutiond ASUU is fighting for is solely for the 61 federal schools. And why has AAUA's VC called to resume? I guess you falsified allocation from is enough for him. The main contention in the agreement is thr earned allowance for lecturers in federal institutions, no state univ will see a kobo from that. So pls tell another lie AAUA bursar. |

Banning pple is bad. Its an abuse of fundamental human rights. Is this the sexkillz guy? |
Its a crime against humanity sef. After several years of bleeping, you now decide to tell your current BF that you want to stop his subscription. Not fair at all. Very criminal sef! |
This Amaechi guy sef!! |
So lecturers pay peanuts for a 3 bedroom apartment and students pay 20k for a bedspace and yet ASUU is fighting for the students? What n irony. |
duality: If it is wrong, then its also wrong to discuss politics, football or any other in a public transport.Discussion involves people, preaching is just some nuisance shouting and threatening others with hell. |
I think Christians have taken it upon themselves to abuse the fundamental human right of anybody irrespective of their religion. Everybody has a right to personal liberty. Thus before you preach to me, you must first seek my consent. That's what Jehovah Witnesses do. I was on a bus from Obalende to Yaba ealier this year. While in transit, a woman wearing a "Chosen" vest brought out a battery-powered mini-CD player and started playing her pastor's message so loud in the bus. I warned her to turn it off but she ignored me. Since we were sitting on the same row, I grabbed her annoying toy and flung it out of the fast-moving bus. I pictured it shattering in my mind. She started ranting and I told her in a very stern voice that I won't mind assaulting her physically if she as much as lay a finger on me. She alighted from the bus at the next bustop. Once she was off, some passengers started to voice their relief. And I was like "so una no like am too. Why una no complain?" |

Wetin I do you nah? You don't even know me. Yeah she loved me when I had no money but she got tired of the hustle. She's a rich girl though. She just went bonkers Cykik: U are so dumb dats y she left u, d grl lovd u even wen u had no money |
I used to date this girl in 2008. She can be said to the the most beautiful lady I ever dated. She was head ove heels in love with me. I know this because back then I was a fresh graduate with no job and money wasn't coming from home anymore and she has very rich parents. I mean the father has a whole road named after him in the tushed part of Lagos Island. I know she loved me because of ythe way she respects me and was always wanting to see me. In my house she was accepted though my brothers were suspicious, my father was really fond ofher and all. Issues started when I got a job in Lagos. She complains I close late, I don't have time and I always took the pain to explain to her (I totally hate nagging. I would rather sleep on the street than ssleep onthe same bed with a nagging woman) One day she called me up and told to meet her in a restaurant on Allen Ave. I saw her park this new Mistibushi SUV behind my car. When I asked her what happened to her car, she said he boyfriend just got her the new Mistibushi and she won't be seeing me anymore. I tried to act mature. We ate and we went our separate ways. I felt bad for weeks. Though I still kept intouch, ibegged her repeatedly to come backto me. Whenever my dad asks after he, I always lied that she's out of the country. The whole experience made me loose faith the in woman gender and all. I've dated over 6 girls since then but that was the most painful of mybreakups because she said I didn't do anything wrong but she has to move on. I guess it was the money. Imbetter off now though. *winks* Me sef don buy muscle camry. Don't relent. Hustle pays. |

Once and elected public office holder decamps to another he/she is supposed to loose the seat. Except some conditions are met. When the recommendation of this committee is finally implemented, it will serve as deterrent to politicians who ae fond of jumping from1 party to another. |

An idle mind is thr devils workshop. Either we like it or not, the present economic state of the nation is responsible for this. The banks too should employ youths that are computer savvy in other to secure their database. First to comment though. |
kennygee: I wonder how he can show his face in politics after what his family is known for. Politics is just a hunger game in this country, politicians will do anything to get into power, even denying their previous party ideologies. In the U.S.if a democrat becomes a republican and vice versa, that becomes the end of his political career. Here in Nigeria it is nothing, Thieving politicians. It is this kind of mentlity that drives this country down the drain. Is Mohammed his father? Was he the one in charge when his father was pesident? Does it mean you will go to hellfire becos your father is a sinner? Pls give mea break!! |
Where is all these shit coming from? Anything good thing that gets to Nigeria automatically becomes polluted. Where in the bible did it say peeople can't sleep nak.ed? |

donroxy: Some certain things in Life are relative(Have some kinda interconnection) ....... Check all mammals, it is only human that attracts sameGender for se.xua.l Intercourse ......Actually, the opposite is true. The animal kingdom is rife with homosexual behavior. Petter Böckman, a zoologist at the University of Oslo, says that homosexual behavior is common in everything from flamingos to bears to some types of fish, with owls, gorillas, and more, totaling more than 1,500 species worldwide. There are a lot of theories as to why this is, since it doesn’t overtly contribute to the gene pool and should have been weeded out by nature eons ago. Some think it’s simply because sex is pleasurable for more than just humans. Others think it might be practice for heterosexual sex, or to strengthen bonds. Still others believe that, at least in communal groups, where the young are raised by the entire community, those who engage only in homosexual behavior contribute to the gene pool by being able to contribute resources that are undiluted by having their own young. This shows the profoundness of the ignorance of many Nigerians. Is this the kind of research that produced the laptop, modem and smartphone you used in posting your ill-informed submission above? |
