@ 2-2 with chelsea down to 9 men, fergie throws on giggs on the pitch - how positive is that? why not unleash anderson to finish them off? we don't punish opponents at all! we saw how city took full advantage last season when evans got sent off - when kompany got sent off in the fa tie, we failed to capitalise! it's a disgrace to fergie but we are playing chelsea again on wednesday and i expect them to batter us in that - we also have the arses next saturday......we should just send the reserves to the capital one cup and focus on the league! the first 35 mins of the first half was our best football - every other thing after then was pure dross! rooney is a twit!

montelik: Actually I don't believe the Scholes situation was understandable. Didn't SAF claim when we didn't replace Scholes that it was because they wanted to give chances for Pogba to play. Yet he made zero appearances for the 1st half of the season. Then the retired Scholes comes back and is instantly restored to the starting line-up. That is certainly a message that manager has no faith, desire or urgency to play you yet.

Understandable in the sense that Scholes is a fellow CM and on his day can still control matches unlike Rafael and Park who are not central midfielders.

Pogba barely even made the bench most times when he was here...he played mostly for the reserves.
He was playing like a 'boss' for Juve earlier... getting stuck in, winning tackles, defensive headers, attacking headers...even almost scored if not from a brilliant save from the Catania goalie.

montelik: When SAF will call Scholes out of retirement and make him a permanent fixture in our starting line-up, why will any young central midfielder who is already developed enough for regular 1st team footy not leave. We saw the same thing with Guiseppe Rossi, when SAF preferred 2-3 month loans for Larsson, playing Giggs upfront e.t.c. rather than give the boy a chance all in the name of protection. The same with Simpson, Baardsley e.t.c when Neville was still automatic choice even though he was clearly struggling.

Scholes is still understandable...but playing Rafael and Park ahead of Pogba is unforgivable.

Watching Pogba play for Juve...unless the money he was 'reported;y' askng for was outrageous, we should have kept him.
We definitely dont have a midfielder of his type in our squad.
