kpolli: Where was the partner when "a girl was throwing herself at the guy at the party?" She was filling to mature to accompany her partner abi, well competition just entered equation. . . .Okay I'm trying to get you here... Are you saying the girl should be blamed (partly) because she didn't accompany her partner to the party? ![]() |
honeric01: many of those forwards can pass on as midfieldersMany? I don't think so bro Forwards: Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow, Russia); Emmanuel Emenike (Spartak Moscow, Russia); Brown Ideye (Dynamo Kiev, Ukraine); Victor Moses (Chelsea, England); Uche Kalu (Rizespor, Turkey); Bright Dike (Portland Timbers, USA); Shola Ameobi (Newcastle FC, England); Ikechukwu Uche (Villarreal FC, Spain); Ejike Uzoenyi (Enugu Rangers); Sunday Mba (Enugu Rangers)I don't know about the home based players there but out of these players, only Kalu Uche have played there before and he isn't a natural midfielder. Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa are not central midfielders although they can play as anchors in a forward 3. |
He wants to play Total Football. We would end up a hybrid of the legendary Brazil of 1970 and the Dutch team of 74 and 78
Keshi and total football don't go together bro |
RuuDie: Better get used it because unfortunately for you, we have come this far and cannot turn back now. Its either one or the other - tightening up at the back and lose a bit of our attacking impetus or riding our luck with the status quo. I'll stick with the latter!I can get used to it, no problem but it certainly won't be tolerated or accepted and in the long run will be disastrous. Like I've said, it's not just about clean sheets or just conceding, it's the manner of the goals we let in and the amount in bucket loads. Too many errors leading to the goals that could have been avoided. We conceded 3 goals at HOME not away and was bossed in midfield by a Newcastle side missing their entire first choice midfielders (Ben Arfa, Tiote, Cabaye and Gutierrez) and you don't think something needs to be fixed? How can Bigirimana, Marveaux and a stand in defender Perch be running show at Old Trafford? I understand to an extent what you are saying but we don't necessarily have to lose our attacking bite, we have always managed to score goals every season, we scored over a 100 goals last season, we are MANCHESTER UNITED, we can score bucket loads of goals. A mean defence can definitely score goals - we have done it in the past in our championship winning seasons. "As long as we win, it doesn't matter what the scoreline is - we'll have three points" right? So lets win 3-1's, 4-1's, 5-1's and even conceding the occasional 2/3 goals but not at this rate. Do you know how many times we've conceded 3 goals this season already? My point is it doesn't have to be this bad. You can get away with it in the short term but not in the long term. |
mbulela: Chamo,i feel your pain too. However, i think this goal leaking syndrome will continue until we find a bit of stability injury wise. It is virtually impossible to great a platform for solidity with the amount of injuries we are having. I will not be surprised if the medical crew are sacked in the summer. the amount of injuries are almost laughable. Kagawa has been out since October? What was his injury record at Dortmund? Nani has been out for months too. Vidic has been in and out. You don't know when Rafael is injured and when Fergie is having a brain fart abd resting him.Jones has barely played 3 games since last summer. Same with Smalling. We had injuries last season too but we were not shipping goals like this...We have almost conceded the amount of goals we let in last season. What aannoys me about the injuries is the unexpected lengthy lay offs...Nani was meant to be out for 2 weeks, its over a month now, Kagawa was meant to be out for 4 weeks, it's about 2 months now. Rafael was only meant to miss 1 game, he's missed 2. Something doesn't seem right. |
kpolli: First, let's ask. . . Why do ppl cheat? Through that answer, you would understand my line of thoughtThere isn't a sole reason why people cheat, people do it for various reasons. If a girl was throwing herself at a guy at a party for example, and he decided it's a good opportunity to 'hit' a different coochie since the opportunity presented itself, how the hell is that the partner's fault? Is it the partner's fault he can't resist temptation? No! |
RuuDie: Look at the table and tell me where all the other teams with better defences and more clean sheets are!!?Don't be myopic and look at the bigger picture...your team is leaking goals left, right centre and you are happy because the forwards have been bailing us out? I don't care where other teams with more clean sheets are in the table, I care about my team's inability to stop conceding pathetic goals. The point here is not about the clean sheet per say, it's about the high number of goals we are shipping in and the amount of chances/opportunities that opponents get ...more especially at Old Trafford. Newcastle had more shots on target than us, when we played Sunderland they had over 10 shots on target, the same Sunderland that barely had shots on goal earlier in the season not to talk of hitting the target. Its not just about keeping clean sheets, we can concede goals in every game and still have one of the meanest defence in the league - If we only conceded one goal in all 19 games so far, we would not have kept a clean sheet but still have the 5th best defence in the league. Right now only the bottom 6/7 have conceded more goals than United. We are only 7 points clear which is nothing to rely on considering we let an 8 point lead slip in the last few games of last season. If we don't improve our defending and other teams improve, it could cost us. I might be okay if it was only happening away from home but it's even worse at OT where we are meant to be more solid. The composition of the defence unit needs to be well structured and aim to improve. It could be our down fall in the Champions League where 'away goals' is a determinant factor. The forwards will not always bail us out as proved already this season. Even the manager is worried about our defending so if you are not worried about it, I am! |
He's aiming to break Senegal's record of 9 at the last AFCON
Bruv, there are more forwards than defenders. |
kpolli: It's not caused by the other half, it's caused by the cheater but the cheated too has a blame in this. . . SimpleMy point is... the cheated does not ALWAYS have a blame. They might have a blame in most instances but not ALWAYS like you are making it seem. kpolli: When a relationship is great, it's cause of both of them. . . When a relationship fails is caused by only oneOf course when a relationship fail, its the fault of AT LEAST ONE of them not BOTH parties. If one party decides to mess something up why should the other take the blame. Blaming another party is just an excuse to justify the act itself. "I had to cheat because I wasn't getting any attention" ![]() |
montelik: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2253593/Robert-Lewandowski-set-sign-Manchester-United.htmlBig fat lie! A player that wont be eligible for CL |
I don't understand how someone wont be worried about the amount of pathetic goals we've been conceding, especially at OT. Yea the forward will keep bailing us out my foot. 3 clean sheets in 19 games? FOH |
kpolli: Cos if he had done his duty, she won't have needed to cheatAre you for real? So we should assume all cheating is caused by the other half not performing his/her duties. I see... |
There is like 50 strikers/forwards in the squad. That shows a lack of football nous. |
Fergie can suck my balls mehn ![]() |

coogar: rooney was pure wänk but valencia has been shyte throughout the season.....Rooney's performance was disgraceful to say the least. He lost so many balls in the final third just in the first half alone I wanted him subbed at half time. I thought it couldn't get any worse and it did in the second half. It was really irritating like his mind wasn't there. Valencia - I'm sure he is only playing cos Nani is injured. He might as well play with a plastic left leg. What worries me most is the act that he feels he has to beat a full back before whipping a cross in. Beckham never had to beat any full back before delivering. Sometimes he gets acres of space to just cross the ball before the full back closes him down but he always wants to get to the by line...I've noticed he doesn't cross from deep on the flanks. Carrick - my favourite United player. I counted about 4 world class interceptions he made in the first half alone and I was just smiling and enjoying his performance. That pass he gave to A.Young almost made me jizz my pants. Only beer parlour analysts will not understand Carrick's input in that team. He is like the midfield Berbatov, always plays the game at his own pace...so Elegant. |
All of you complaining about Nani, I hope you're been enjoying Valencia's performances these few weeks? Worst player on the pitch in our last 3 matches.
Worst player on the pitch? Maybe you didn't see Rooney on the pitch. Atrocious performance by Rooney, we played with 10 men for most parts. |
E too sure for Debosky ![]() |
^^^Fergie said in his press conference today that he expects Giggs to play for another year or two. I give up. ![]() |
dayokanu: Arsenal is not a team that knows how to bunker and their defence is not great either. Vermalean, Kolscieny Mertersacker Gibbs, Jenkinson and Sagna vs Robbery, Gomez, Mandzukic, Muller, Kroos, Bayern smash it ![]() Haba, 7-2 on aggregate...na volleyball? |
