Thorpe isn't good enough.
Even Michael Keane will be 21 in January...how long will they wait for to get first team football.
The fact that Smalling, Jones and Evans are around will also count against them unless they make a drastic improvement.
Cole's problem is his position...he isn't an out and out winger but gets most of his games there for the Under 21's
He said he prefers to play as an AM, which is why it would be difficult for him to make the first team.

Tyler Blackett looks good especially with his physique...but plays mostly at LB for the reserves.
He also plays on the LW and has even played up front in some games.

He impressed me against Fulham on Monday, he has improved a lot.
