messi's team is superior though.
let's not forget that. the creativity of xavi and iniesta outweighs anything chelsea have done this season.

messi's number of hatricks(eight)  this season is more than the combined league caroll and torres have managed this season. grin
Messi and Ronaldo have upgraded from scoring hat-tricks, they tend to score 4 and 5 these days . . . by next season it will be 6.
Fergie should forget winning the European title in the near future . . . he might as well retire or focus on the league.
The emergence of Christian Tello and Isaac Cuenca is frightening. They seem like the next best young starlets.

Sometimes I think we need to appreciate what some payers have achieved.

Messi scored 5 tonight in 90mins - that's more than Fernando Torres has scored in 36 apps this season.

it's obscene.
the number of goals messi and ronaldo are scoring in la liga is disgusting.
messi has now scored 200+ goals in the last 5 seasons - averaging 40 goals per season.

what the hell!!!
And those 48 goals came in 42 apps . . . . no player should be scoring more goals than appearances . . . it should be illegal.
Ronaldo must be wondering what else he needs to do . . . I feel sorry for him.

Do you think they cant do it in the Premiership? . . . Ronaldo has proved that by scoring 40+ goals.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 11:36pm On Mar 07, 2012
It just dawned on me that Messi has scored 48 goals plus 20 assists so far this season and we are still in early March. Smh

cheesy cheesy cheesy

Calm down hellboy - he was good but that was never in doubt! I've always said pace the lad and don't put too much expectation on his shoulders.

Whisper it quietly - Arsenal had THREE English starters yesterday, and only TWO Frenchmen and TWO Africans. cheesy

Great game, heck the last 3 Arsenal games have been fantastic. I'm glad they gave their all but probably think this is a fair outcome. We just left too much to do after the shambles of Milan. People talk about RVP's chance, but Nocerino's miss was far worse.

I'm also glad we didn't take it into extra time and lose because we're struggling for bodies as it is - at least this season's CL has given us a game to remember as well. Truly one of the great nights at the Emirates.

If the players leave everything on the pitch in this way, the fans will be behind them 100% in each and every game - that's the determination and drive we need to see from now till the end of the season.
But we all know thats not going to happen

milan also wasted a golden chance. . .a cross from the right channel and the striker missed from 4 yards. . . .
i pity arsenal's opponents in the league - i am happy united have claimed their 6 points already.
Those misses were shocking . . . but you expect RvP as a world class strker to do better. Nocerino should have used his left foot.
Oxlade - what a player. Touch, slickness, panache . . . he's got it all

Good game boys. Nice work in the second half. I expected us to continue with the same momentum in the second but its like we either stopped believing or we became too cautious. The midfielders were a bit complacent in the second half. All the same, thanks for making effort. We weren't disgraced like many thought we would be.

Two downsides from tonight, 1. we didn't score that extra goal that could have taken the game to extra time and 2. the way our players were dropping on the field, I wonder how many would be fit enough for the next game
They got tired halfway through the second half and the pace of the game dropped . . . plus Milan raised their game a little n the 2nd half.
In the end, the 4 goals conceded at Milan was too much to ask for.
Arsenal could have levelled after 60 minutes . . . RvP missed a golden opportunity.

9 points clear of TBOOGIE in H2H. . . Can I have the first trophy now? cheesy

With just 11 games left, I need to start taking a few gambles to usurp the bastardos in the classic league.
Being first doesn't give you the H2H league
The team that takes 8th position could win it.

So sorry no trophy for you tongue tongue

EPL top 4 defenders include Djourou, Mertersacker(Who lost his German shirt), Jones, Smalling, Evans, King, Dawson, Cahill, abi? I laff in gorimapa

Interception, Passes, these are the hallmark of a modern footballer, Gone are the days defenders just hoof the ball up senselessly.

What are the strenghts of Djourou, Mertersacker, Jones, Smalling, Evans, King, Dawson, Cahill, etc
Interception and passing - only 2?

Djourou is not a regular starter.
Your Per with over 70 caps?

The rest of the players you mentioned are better than Badstuber.

Sir Alex Ferguson is in the market for a centre-back and wants to bring Milan's centre-back Thiago Silva to Old Trafford and is ready to offer the Serie A side £25m for their Brazilian international after reading very favourable reports from the surveillance team he's had monitoring Silva as he goes about his business at San Siro.
The scout is Jaap Stam. He's been all over Europe and South America scouting for the club
I didn't know when Fergie and Stam made up.

But I don't believe the story though . . . I think its just mere speculation.

As it stands, I'm still leading n the H2H cheesy Consolation?
