Politics › Re: Why Jonathan Lost To Buhari – Sanusi by champion69(m): 2:15am On Apr 06, 2015 |
Sanusi, who is now known as Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, said this during an interview with our correspondent on Saturday. He said the voting showed that areas which had a high rate of poverty felt neglected by the Peoples Democratic Party-led Federal Government over the years.
Story for the gods, the north has from time memorial had a high rate of poverty, it's not a new development neither is it caused by Jonathan's administration, people voted on basis of religion and ethnic sentiments that's the bitter truth. Sanusi, stop painting the obvious. |

benny4wax: Readers Discretion: I am writing this as a concerned Igbo man, hoping to hear the minds of his fellow igbo men and women.... I am not here to spring out ethnic war.
APC - President APC - Majority in Senate APC _ Majority in House of Rep No APC senator in South East No APC Hon member in South East Meaning- No senate president and speaker of House of Rep in South east OHANAEZE Ndi Igbo is the most misleading Socio-cultural Organization in Africa When other socio- cultural groups were bargaining for power, Ohanaeze ndi igbo was after the reign of PDP Dollars, now igbos have shot them self up in the current political structure and equation.
Tomorrow they will blame other region for marginalization, Selfishness and personal interest won't allow clueless Ohanaeze ndigbo position Ndi igbo in their rightful place.
my question is what happens to the Igbos now? D earlier you guys forget about ndigbo not having a shot within 1-6 position in the incoming despensation the better for you guys. You guys talk as if you are sure of tomorrow, you don't know what the next hour hold for you not to talk of what's gonna happen in not less than 60days from now. And if my memory is not failing me, this present regime has no political office holder from the southwest that occupy the first six position and the southwesterners did survive it, even when PDP offered the position of speakership to the southwest, they voluntarily offered it back to northwest. So what's the fuss about the southeast not occupying a position within 1-6 political office. |

wakacome: The case presently at court is that the PDP guys claim buhari does not have a certificate, the law states that the candidate must have a leaving school certificate or its equivalent!!!!the equivalent makes that part of the constitution to be exploited and anyone in nigeria will take advantage of it,,buhari got to the high rank of the nigeria army,he can use any certificate whether from any program he did in nigeria or abroad since the constitution allows "equivalent"the constitution does not specify what the "equivalent"must be......trust me the case is dead on arrival, the case will be dismissed, mark my words,I repeat that case is dead...buhari will not be disqualified,....am not talking because am a fan of buhari but am talking according to the constitution and the facts on ground, and also someone might say nobody is above the law,but guess what??that is a lie,the experienced lawyers and judges will tell you something is above the law and that thing is called "wisdom"... Get it right, no one is saying Buhari does not have certificates that is higher than leaving school certificate, why u see people requesting for his WAEC result is that Buhari specifically wrote waec as his educational certificate in his INEC form he filled, and by extension he should have produced it and attach same while submitting the INEC form which he did not, reason for the court case. And don't forget, this is a pre election case that will drag up to the supreme court, whichever party that the case do not favour will seek redress in appeal court up to the supreme court where final determination of the case will be decided. |
Politics › Re: Why Igbos Voted Jonathan - The Hypocrisy by champion69(m): 11:23pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
pendicle: It is the rigged result that is confusing most people they assumed the 99% difference between GEJ and GMB is a reflection of the mindse of easterners.
PDPs stealing of the vote cast for APC in the SS and SE did so much injustice to the unity and disversity of the people of Nigeria. They caused huge loss to the positioning of both regions in the heirarchy of leadership in Nigeria.
Now the Leadership of the national assembly will be shared solely between the entire north and the south west solely.
It's a hard lesson for people of the south east for allowing the massive rigging in their enclave because they thought they were helping their cousin from the delta. These your assertion clearly shows that APC is a regional party unlike PDP that is more of a national party where they have personal from all regions to represent them in any capacity |

Nnamadi Sambo is actually one of GEJ weakest link, yes he is a loyal vice president but that does not win election for you, GEJ should have dropped Sambo and pick someone formidable from the north that will garner northern votes for him. |
Politics › Re: Why Igbos Voted Jonathan - The Hypocrisy by champion69(m): 9:37pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
Those making such assertion are only doing that out of ignorance, they always blind there thought against the reason the northern vote massively for GMB, but look towards the easterners that is voting according to there belief for GEJ. |

1. PDP should have settled with the aggrieved governors Ameachi, Kwankwaso and co 2. He should have dropped Sambo and probably pick Kwankwaso to garner more vote from the north. 3. He choose the wrong northerners to work with 4. Ibrahim Shekareu and other northerner he gave ministerial positions did nothing for him 5. PDP underestimated the merger of ACN and CPC |

It's a pity that Jonathan and PDP by extention has lost this election. In my opinion these are some mistakes that lead to the loss of this election by PDP 1. PDP underestimated the merger of ACN and CPC
