Nobody will sell fuel below their cost price, they will adjust by reducing what they import in the short term and probably work at bring down their cost in the long run by refining locally.

The corruption in the judiciary has ban on for many years now.
The case here is not directly with these judges especially but it is aimed at prosecuting the criminal case against Ricky Tafa
So far, what has been the response of the NBA?
What we saw last time was Ricky Tafaw coming to Court with about 90 lawyers largely made of SANS.
If Nigerians are supposed to take their cases to court, what is wrong if Ricky Tafa or any other judge without prejudice to the position of NJC is taken to the same court?
Or are these accused more important than the rest of us?
Even in the recent case of Justice Rita Ofili ajumogobia and the NJC judgement that she will be on the watch list for four years without promotion.
I consider that punishment a slap in the wrist.
There have been several petition against her in the past and when she has been found wanting in the last case, I really can't understand why she has not been retired now.
With this revelation against her, i can't imagine her handling my case, it will be difficult to trust her.
Anyone found wanting should be shown the way out not to be left to continue denying innocent people justice.

Why can't Nigeria jst allow a BDC who changes Naira to dirham at MMIA directly. Am speaking from my personal xperience. Only few person travel to America for trade related purpose. If you must pass thru a particular individual before gaining acesss to others in arson ll always feel too important and be proud. I think the dollar has become proud.

So what do you propose? Do you understand the situation the country is in? use of administrative controls provide opportunity for arbitrage and people will take advantage of that. Which ever channel we decide to use BDC,banks even THE cbn, as long as the exchange rate is not market driven whoever is involved in process of allocating these resources is likely to exploit the situation to their benefit.

The margin is really small but not widely available like BDCs, that is why CBN want them to have more outlets in order to reduce the gap between official rate and parallel market rate.

Their rate will always depend on how they source their fx. They will not sell below their cost price. If they get funds from sources outside of the CBN why do you think that their rate will not be market determined?

The dollar is widely accepted all over the world.

Where will Travelex source the fx it will be selling from? Probably they will be providing for PTA AND BTA needs. Traveller cheques etc.

I understand the situation better now. The banks will exchange dollar for naira at the parallel market rate. Well, we're being fleeced.

The banks are sourcing forex outside of the official market to finance their obligations to the card companies(visa,mastercard).You have a choice, use the cards and pay at the black market rate or avoid using the cards for transactions denominated in foreign currency. We keep on complaining but we are not ready to make any sacrifices.
