Okay, now it has changed from "Sanusi HAS killed the economy" to "Sanusi WILL kill the economy."

You guys are just too much . For the record, a Central Bank Governor cannot single-handedly kill or resuscitate an economy, he also needs the support of the Minister of Finance and the President. Olusegun Aganga has not shown us that he has any liver to fight the ills of the economy while Mr. President is not exactly at par with Barack Obama in terms of understanding the dynamics of Economics.

In the environment that we find ourselves and the circumstance we are in, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is doing a decent job and I leave it at that. If we continue to castigate good people and frustrate them out of the country, we will end-up being worse than Somalia and Liberia. So when we criticize, let us understand the import of what we are saying.

No doubt, Sanusi has made powerful enemies and they are fighting back. Where was the economy when Sanusi became CBN Governor? Were people not dying of hypertension because they took term loans to buy worthless stocks. So you see the economy was already destroyed and Sanusi can do little wrong than what the likes of Cecelia Ibru, Ndidi-Okereke and Pastor Akingbola allowed to happen. By the way was this man not voted man of the year in a poll that he was not even a part of in the first place (Silverbird Man of the Year)? He is the current Economist Central Banker of the Year and some of you who cannot even prepare amortization table are here busy typing rubbish.

This is really good news. I'm happy for BMW. They are gifted in designing very comfortable automobiles with very serious considerations for ride quality.

You can see what they did to Rolls Royce with the Phantom - they practically put that name back on the road without any compromise for the build our ride quality. Literally making it better than what it was. And that design and concept continues even till date with the Rolls Royce Ghost and the phantom coupe.

Same thing they did to the then dying Land Rover Range Rover with the 2003/2004 break out design, that restored the Range Rover back to the top of its class.

They are amazing, and I can see the edge, especially now that Mercedes Benz had lost focus; with all kinds of class (a, b, c, d, e, f , down to z class) unnecessarily expensive and also costing so much for minor repairs. People are even confused about what model and what really differentiates the models (for instance the new S and E classes). I think the only mercedes that uniquely makes sense now is the Maybach.

I hope BMW invests in a proper SUV. The X5 is a hit and a masterpiece BUT is still a crossover (actually, like a blend of the Range Rover HSE and the 5 series)

They make the ultimate driving machines.

story don dey start ohhh. That was how onigbinde started with stories. Same as Christain Chukwu, same as Amodu, Same recently as las lagerbac, These coaches are all failures. They can never be sincere. They keep on making mouth outside, but once they get the job, they give excuse.

Coaches should be seen setting targets once they get the job. That's why my best coach still remains Jose Morinho, He sets targets and always have 99% achievement.

What did Abati  say when Spanish judge ordered that a 17th century shipwreck discovered by Odyssey Marine-USA  be returned to Spain as its rightful owner- because it contains over $500 million in gold. So putting things in perspective, $500 million in gold is huge to a westerner; while in the same vein, a whale washed ashore is worth more  to a hungry Lagosian. Kapish, ?

I wish you well with the offers "trickling in." The question though is why do Nigerians have to settle for less simply because we are Nigerians? The world is a better world today for everyone but Nigerians. We have simply retrogressed!

I have made my point and even you conceded that the house is over valued simply because the house is Askoro Nigeria. That is fair enough and if somebody wants to pay 250m naira to you for a dilapidated house, I would say go for it immediately but I am sure you won't get that at least you've not gotten it. But by your admission, offers are "trickling in." I am sure you know why. The price of this house is simply an outrage!

Before he stormed on corrupt bank MD's we had a CBN governor who we trusted tell us that Nigeria will not go into a recession and that all our banks are healthy only for us to find out that billions of our deposits have been mismanaged and stolen. Banks giving out loans with no collateral, MD's lending money to themselves with no intention of paying back, Banks buying their own shares, cooked up financial reports e.t.c.

My friends let us be frank, there is a media campaign to make Sanusi look bad but man took hard decisions and our banking system will be better for it.

Jeez ! ain't anybody here seen the PORSCHE CAYENNE ? Well, we in Germany knows that the Cayenne is the King of all German SUVs and it leads with a big gap ! But then, I'm not surprised, I haven't seen much Porsche Rides in Naija since I've been visiting.
The Porsche Cayenne is the ultimate of all German SUVs, beats all the rest in all categories during the recent SUV tests. Its not for people with class or that want class. Its for the Elite and Style Pioneers.

And I understand about your friends. What you do not know are specifics of the issues they've had, or their maintainance culture. I tend to speak from my indepth knowledge of engineering. A ladder chassis is no substitute for a monocoque bodyshell, unless the car's going to spend the greater part of its life mud-plugging.

The popularity of a certain model in Nigeria does not make it the best. Nigerians in general like names, and "status". They also like to stick with what they feel comfortable with. In Nigeria, the Toyota Camry is very popular, more so than a BMW, Audi or Mercedes, Does that make it a better car?
