This is really shocking. According to a video footage making the rounds online, a man went through extreme length to show that his wife is really his property. It was alleged that the aggrieved husband cut of the joystick of a man whom he caught sleeping with his wife.

The man was stripped unclad with blood gushing out from his mutilated private part as neighbors and passersby gathered to see for themselves.

Some people even brought out their phones to record the injured man as he laid on the ground there lamenting.

The poster of the video didn't give the location where it happened but online users have condemned the wicked act by the husband because 'it takes two to tangle'.

Yesterday, it was reported that the convoy of the Ekiti All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Kayode Fayemi allegedly knocked down and killed a police officer during the party's rally in the state. The deceased identified as Inspector Kayode Gabriel of the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) – was due for promotion to the rank of ASP next week before he killed in the accident.

Fresh report has emerged as to what led to the tragic death of the policeman.

An eyewitness reportedly recounted what happened. Below is what he wrote;

I was at the scene of this accident that happened in the front of captain cook this morning. It was a Sienna Bus that hit the victims as they were trying to cross from one side of the road to other side. Unfortunately one of the victims could not survive it.lt was the same Sienna Bus that they used to carry the two men involved to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Police Command has refuted claims that the convoy of the All Progressive Candidate, Dr Kayode Fayemi knocked down a police officer.

The Command Public Relation Officer, Mr Caleb Nwachukwu, however, told Vanguard that a Toyota Sienna Van with registration number: Lagos X2874 Eky knocked down two pedestrians on Bashiri road just before the newly constructed over head bridge.

Those affected in the accident were one Anayomi Ismailia and a yet to be identified police officer.

He said the convoy of the Vice President and Fayemi came in through the Ikere axis of the State capital around 12 noon, while the incident in question happened around 9am.

Operatives of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS) have arrested a six man gang of suspected kidnappers and armed robbers operating with police coloured Ford ranger jeep and police accoutrements in Rivers state. Two pump action guns and police protective vests were recovered from the suspects on the 18th and 19th of June.

The suspects identified as Tony Raphael, Ifeanyi Okoye, Chigozie Onuigbo, Emeka Nwaiwu, Clark Sunday and Chinedu Isia - were said to always operate in police attire to rob unsuspecting victims.

The suspects also confessed to numerous kidnappings and armed robberies in Rivers state and environs.

Investigation is still in progress as the suspects will be charged to court once its concluded.

A woman has taken to social media to solicit for prayers for her husband who is battling for his life after a unfortunate incident. According to his wife Princess Owona, her husband was shocked by electricity which got him hospitalized after landing into coma.

A young Nigerian girl was caught while allegedly trying to cause "spiritual havoc" in a church (St. Peters Catholic church). According to a video footage posted online, the girl who was severely beaten and flogged - confessed that she was sent by one Sheba to destroy the church, render their prayers ineffective and also to seduce the Reverend fathers.

The girl was allegedly caught red handed after lighting a candle on the altar and was making some incantations with some fetish items.

She was brought outside the church, knelt down and flogged as she confessed during the interrogation.

While some are condemning the act carried out by the girl, others are arguing that the girl maybe mentally unstable and may not even have known what she was doing.

Yesterday, two supporters of Peoples Democratic Party, Adeleye Gbenga and Dimeji Adeleye were attacked and seriously injured by some unknown thugs in Aramoko Ekiti yesterday. The thugs also damaged their campaign vehicle.

According to reports, the hoodlums have also wrecked havoc in Okemesi Ekiti, injuring one Idowu and destroying PDP posters and billboards.

This violence is coming ahead of the July 14 governorship election in the state.

A whole family has been wiped out in a tragic circumstance in Kano state. According to media reports, a man, his wife and two sons were killed after being involved in a ghastly motor accident while celebrating the Sallah festivity. Three were reported to have died on the spot while the other gave up the ghost shorty after being rushed to the hospital.

While Muslims around the world marked the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan with the Sallah celebration, some youths spent the special festivity in custody of the Hisbah Commission (religious police force) in Zamfara state. The young men were arrested while out and about with their girlfriends in the state metropolis.

Though the reason for their arrest was not given in details but according to confirmed reports, those who defaulted the religious laws or engaged in anti Sharia activities such as drinking alcohol - were picked up by the Hisbah officials who patrolled across the city to observe the Sallah celebration.

A group of hoodlums were caught in Ewokiri community in Okoroma clan, Nembe Local government area of Bayelsa State with the help of the youths in the community. According to reports, the men confessed that they are kidnappers/sea pirates who operate on the waterways. They also allegedly confessed to the kidnapping of a woman in Brass local government area of the state.

They were later handed over to the police not after receiving some beatings from the angry youths.

Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel’s Russian wife has reacted to Nigeria's 0-2 loss to Croatia in their opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The Russian beauty Olga Diyachenko took to her social media page to console and encourage her husband after the disappointing start to the tournament.

She wrote via her Instagram page; You win some, you lose some my love... you are always a winner in my eyes. Love you. Go Nigeria.

Olga, who gave birth to the two girls in 2015, is reportedly a die-hard Nigeria fan.

Last year Mikel, who plays for for Chinese club Tianjin TEDA in the Chinese Super League, told the official FIFA website: "My wife is Russian and many of our relatives and friends are from Russia.

"They are all expecting Nigeria to qualify for the next World Cup. "I think they will kill me if I fail them."

This is very sad. The death of a young man full of life - has left many including his friends and colleagues in lament. According to reports, the deceased survived a fatal accident in 2015 which almost claimed his life as he came out of the crash in an unconscious state.

Due to the serious injuries he sustained in the accident, the young man lost one of his eyes.

After surviving such tragedy 3 years ago, the young man died yesterday after suffering from Malaria, according to a Facebook user who posted the sad news.

May his soul rest in peace.

Fire has razed a two storey building at No. 21, Akintunde Street, Off Onike Roundabout, Yaba, Lagos.The incident happened at about 11:29. Combined efforts from Lagos State Fire Service, LASEMA and Rapid Response Squad led to the putting out the fire but it had razed the upper floor of the two story building.

According to sources around the area, the owner of the flat was fond of putting her Air conditioner on while she was out. As at the moment the fire started, it was reported that her children could not access her room.

And as at the time they were calling for help, the fire had grown out of proportion.

Lagos State Fire Service and LASEMA finally put out the fire.

Earlier today, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) handed over the money recovered from the fatal accident that killed eight Edo indigenes on return from Spain for a wedding. The FRSC recovered over 65,780 Euros (over N27million) and other monies as they were handed over to the accident victims.

The cash was presented by the FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Clement Oladele.

It was reported that about eight persons, five males and three females, lost their lives in an accident on Tuesday morning when a Hummer bus conveying them rammed into a Mack truck.

The victims – all believed to be Edo State indigenes, who just flew into the country from Spain, had chartered the bus marked BEN 313 YX on the fleet of Iyare Motors and were going to Benin City for an engagement, when the accident happened.

A 28-year-old relationship expert has taken to social media to reveal her dilemma. The young lady identified as Oby Omalicha Chuka revealed that she has been dating three guys for over 2 years now but sleeps with only one of them. According to her, the two other guys who "she does not have sex with" - are now separately asking her questions about marriage which has led to her confusion over who to choose.
