A ghastly accident happened on Thursday, January 5th along Enugu-Onitsha expressway after a trailer failed brake and collided a car on the highway. According to reports, the driver of the car came out the crash unhurt as the accident caused a huge traffic gridlock on the road. See pictures below;

According to the man, he solely hyena after spotting it in the bush as he planned to prepare a meal with it. This unfortunate accident happened at Ngwulangu in Ohozara LGA, in Ebonyi state yesterday 4th January 2018..A man was killed after a moving trailer collided with a stationary one on in repairs. Two young men were with the stationary trailer. One was under it and the other man behind it.

According to reports, the impact of the moving trailer pushed the stationary one backward that it climbed the guy under it. He died at the spot. The guy behind was seriously knocked down that his spine was affected. By this he could not move his arms or limbs.

The Star Wars actor who arrived Nigeria to celebrate the festive season took to his Twitter account to express worry over the fact that he did not find a wife during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Congratulations are in order for a proud and happy Aba shoemaker, Prosper Erem of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state (UNIPORT), who will be joining other 29 Aba shoemakers to China for a 30 Day Workshop Training on Shoe Making & other Leather Works.

They are leaving to advance their handwork to meet up with international standard. This trip is being sponsored by the Government of Abia State led by Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.

According to reports, Prosper was once an interim Vice President of the Students Union Government (SUG), UNIPORT. She was once the Vice President of Abia State Students Association, UNIPORT Chapter.

Yesterday, a prayer ceremony was organized at the Government House, to ask for God’s guidance and wisdom on the trainees.

Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu charged the trainees to be of good behavior, learn every single step and bring back the knowledge for others to learn.

A 28-year-old man identified as Nwaka John from Imo state left Nigeria in June 23, 2017 with the intention to enter Europe but ended up being stranded in Libya. “I spent 5 days in the desert where I have to drink somebody’s urine in order to survive. Out of 104 of us that started the journey only 81 made it to Libya, 23 others died in the desert. This journey is indeed a suicide mission,” John lamented.

The computer engineering graduate was among the 157 Nigeria migrants that were brought home by IOM from Libya on Wednesday 27 December 2017.

This latest flight is the 30th chartered flight IOM has organized so far in 2017 that has brought home 6327 stranded Nigeria migrants from Libya under the EU Funded project “Migration Governance and Reintegration in Nigeria”.

There are still good police officers in Nigeria just like this one. A man was left surprised and amazed after receiving an unsolicited help from a gallant police officer identified as N.Dogo after an accident along Maiduguri-Damaturu Highway yesterday evening. According to reports, the police officer never gave up on them as he helped the driver and others to work on the spoilt vehicle in order to get it going.

Even after helping them repair the car, the policeman reportedly rejected the token of appreciation he was given.

He was on ground there till the car occupants left.

Residents of Umuahia the Capital city of Abia State heaved a sigh of relief yesterday when a Burglary Kingpin who specializes in breaking into people's stores and homes was nabbed recently by residents of the town.

Luck ran out of the said Criminal when he went to sell one of the laptops he stole and the buyer on recognizing the laptop tipped off the owner of the laptop who rushed down with some residents of the street where he had robbed and they nabbed him.

It was gathered that few minutes after the thief was apprehended, a lady was spotted pleading on behalf of the thief and making promises that she will make sure that the stolen goods will be recovered.

The suspected criminal popularly known as Eluigwe who is a known Tricycle daily ticket task force member was later allegedly left on the promise that all the stolen items will be recovered!

A young man was caught by Nigeria Naval Officers which were on guard during an event in Sapele area of Delta state yesterday. According to reports, the hoodlum allegedly robbed his victim a young girl with dagger and made away with her phone.

The girl reportedly said when she was struggling not to let go of her phone, he stopped her incessantly by stabbing her multiple times. Her scream was said to have attracted the naval officers who gave the thief a hot chase and caught up with him, dispossessed him of the phone and gave it to the rightful owner.

He was seriously beaten and handed over to police officers....
