A little girl identified as Zainab Adamu who was seen wandering around the Emir's palace. According to Saidu Ahmed Rufa'i, the young girl was spotted crying as she sought for help. She reportedly claimed to be from Jajere, Potiskum in Yobe state.

The girl is currently at a residence behind Gombe Prison Yard.

Anyone who knows her or her family should contact the appropriate authorities.

Hope and relieve has been given to a five year old who has been kept out of school due to the pain her ‘windswept legs’ were causing her. Now, the young girl is able to do somethings she couldn't do before following a free orthopedic surgery she underwent.

According to Africa Mercy, her family has high hopes for her education and future: “We pray that now she will one day become a great lady of this nation"

Meet His Royal Majesty, Curtis Iredia Eidenogie (1), the Onogie of Ubiaja Esanland in Edo state who is argued to be the youngest king in the state. According to reports, the young king inherited the throne of his fathers at the age of 4.

The young monarch turned a year older on Thursday, January 11 (yesterday) as he reportedly celebrated it in a low-key manner.

A man identified as Chidi Okere has been arrested and placed in a police cell for allegedly duping his fiancee. According to lawyer and human rights activist, Emeka Ugwuonye, the man promised the lady marriage before borrowing money she kept for brother and then disappeared.

According to the report by Emeka, the fiancee begged him to return the money or to pledge to return the money. He refused. He played her. She begged him. He played her. She went to the police. He evaded arrest for a whole year before he was later arrested.

The man reportedly pleaded with the lady at the police station for the matter to be settled peacefully all to no avail as he's set to spend the weekend behind bars.

This is very unfortunate. The federal government has got to step up its strategy to curb the growing menace. Scores have been killed in Taraba State after Fulani herdsmen launched a recent attack on Ananum village in the Donga Local Government Area of the state. According to reports, the head of the Ananum village was gruesomely killed along with two wives after being attacked by the herdsmen.

A fatal accident which happened earlier today in Gombe state has left at least four dead and many others injured. The Toyota Hummer bus was carrying passengers from Potiskum to Jalingo, Taraba state capital before the accident occurred just between Gombe and Kumo.

Some passengers were killed by including a little girl and others.

According to reports, the driver and other passengers who were seriously wounded were rushed to a special clinic in Gombe.

Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, the first son of His Highness Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II and the grandson of the late Emir Ado Bayero, has resumed duties as a police officer. The 26-year-old man joined the Nigeria Police after he graduated from University of Buckingham united kingdom with Bsc accounting after which he left for Riyad the kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he studied Arabic before coming back to Nigeria and did his NYSC in Lagos.

The zonal police public relations officer PRO, Dolapo Badmus, shared photos of Lamido's son on her Instagram page where she congratulated him.

She wrote: "Supol Aminu Sanusi Lamido, Congratulations as you resume fully to police duties from break after your graduation from Police Academy Kano. As you begin the 35years career, I have no doubt in my mind that you will excel! While you were a Corp member serving in my office you never hid your plan to become an officer, the dexterity and the passion you’ve shown towards the profession is an indication that you are cut out for the job, I have no doubt in me that you will excel. I wish you best of luck in this noble profession."

A man from Nibo town in Awka South area of Anambra State, is set to hold a special thanksgiving service to thank God for his survival after a gruesome armed robbery attack. The man was accosted by some men of the underworld who rained bullets on him in a bid to rob him.

After months of treatment, the man who sustained bullet injuries appears to have recovered fully as he plans to appreciate God with a thanksgiving service come Sunday, 4th February, 2018 - a day which is also his birthday.

Nigerians have been warned following this method used by internet fraudsters to dupe unsuspecting victims. Some scammers who decided to take their game to another level are now using fake Facebook profiles pretending to be Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and Senator Samdaddy Anyanwu from Imo state, in order to defraud their "constituents".

The screenshot containing the Facebook chat between the scammers and their proposed victims were shared online in order to alert the public of their mode of operation.

According to an online report, a Nigerian woman identified as Violet Aibangbee, has died in France. The 40-year-old woman was reportedly found dead at her home in the European country as search as begun by the Nigerian Embassy in France to get in contact with her family members to claim her corpse, according to the report.
