Aggrieved online users have stormed the Facebook page of the Sodienye Mbatumukeke, the young man who ordered for iPhone 7 from Jumia and later brutally killed the Jumia delivery man identified as Mr. Chukwuma Eleje.

After brutally snuffing the life of Mr Eleje, Sodienye and two other accomplices tied him up and dumped him in a septic tank.

His victim, Mr Chukwuma Eleje from Ozizza, Afikpo, Ebonyi state -was married with 4 kids before his untimely death.

An online user who knows one of the killers (Sodienye) very well -took to his Facebook account to blast him -revealing that the suspect's father is a barrister....See below;

An alarm has been raised as Coca-Cola company is being accused of abandoning its staff who sustained an industrial injury that led to his amputation in the course of his duty. A lawyer Kingsley Ughe shared an update on what happened to the young man identified as Ugochukwu Okoeomo who is now depending on a good Samaritan for survival.

He is 27, tall, athletically built. A six footer of a sort, with a face that is pleasant to the eyes. His name is Ugochukwu Okoeomo

He was employed by Coca Cola Nigeria Limited (Nigerian Bottling Company Limited) as a Truck Loading Assistant. He worked and served the company dutifully for years without blemish. He was subsequently promoted and confirmed as a staff of Coca Cola Nigeria Limited and transfered to the Oyingbo office of Coca Cola.

His scope of duties included loading , ensuring the loading of coca cola trucks for distributions, and overseeing the movement and operational tracking of all the trucks loading coca cola products at the Oyingbo office of the company.

On this fateful day , he was assigned to work with one Christopher Oyemofu, staff of Coca Cola who is the driver of Truck No; XM 151LND.

As is the custom in his job description, he was directing the coca cola truck fully loaded with drinks within the premises of the Oyingbo office of the company when suddenly the truck zigged zagged and ran backward in a fatal case of break failure.

He made to avoid being crushed to death by the truck. He escaped but one of his legs was trapped under the truck with the heavy tyres screeching and tearing at his skin and his bones crushed and mangled.

He lost consciousness in the ensuing unearthly pain. He was rushed to Lagoon Hospital, Apapa, Lagos by the management of Coca Cola Nigeria Limited. Doctors verdict was unambiguous and definitive; He must be amputated.

So Ugochukwu lost his leg and became permanently disabled. He was given artificial rubber legs and abandoned in the hospital. His medication ; strong anti biotics, heavy pain relief drugs were too expensive for poor Ugochukwu.

He subsequently left the hospital without fully recovering from the pains of the whole ordeal. Jobless without a help, he was thrown out of his rented apartment by his landlord. He now leaves in a makeshift store where he helps a good Samaritan to sell and get his food for the day.

What is even more remarkable is the fact that Ugochukwu actually came to JLAA to donate to the course of justice. At the office, we were curious and very unwilling to accept donation from one needing donation.

We contacted the pastor of the church where he worships. The pastor confirmed the story and told us that even in that state and his travails, Ugochukwu is sold out to charity.

He Steps forward to pay tithes every Sunday from the stipends he earns from his efforts and visits motherless babies home around Ikorodu with biscuits and indomie every Sunday. Givers they say never lack. Ugochukwu will not be allowed by JLAA to walk the unadorned high road of justice alone.

JLAA is firmly determined to pursue justice for Ugochukwu. We have contacted Coca Cola Nigeria Limited. We have informed them of our resolute intentions and readiness to approach the court for justice to assert Ugochukwu's legal rights.

God willing , we shall institute an action within the week and neither funds nor faintness of spirit shall weaken our resolve in this matter. Join us today to seek justice for Ugochukwu.

The Nigerian Navy has intensified effort in her fight against crude oil theft and illegal bunkering once again. The navy is winning the war gradually on daily basis, Forward Operating Base (FOB) BONNY anti-crude oil theft patrol team acting on information discovered 2 Cotonou boats laden with product suspected to be crude oil along Peter Side Creek, the boats were destroyed along with the products.

In a similar operation, another Navy Base , FOB FORMOSO’s patrol team has arrested 3 suspected vandals/looters onboard a vessel MT FRANKENSEN, other item recovered were, one speed boat with 1 x 75 HP engine, one pumping machine, one Hacksaw and spanners.

Another 2 speedboat mounted with 75HP engine each were also recovered from MT ASHKAY, as the suspected vandals jumped into water and swam to a nearby creek on sighting the naval patrol team 3 suspect were arrested and presently in custody for further investigation.

Operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday night arrested four suspected robbers who shot its agent on 7th March, 2017 in Pretty Street, Iyana School, LASU – Iyana Iba Road in a bid to escape. The agent, Sgt Garba Kadiri was shot in the leg twice with a locally made shot gun by three of the gang members before escaping.

The suspects, Wilfred Ehis, 30; Bright Eloho, 24, Emeka Egbemedu, 22 and Olanrewaju Kamilu, 33 were arrested on Wednesday evening in Olamulti Hotel, New Site, Iba, Ojo, Lagos.

The gang who specialise in tricking sellers of expensive mobile phones pretending to be online buyers and thereafter rob the sellers at the point delivery, were tracked to the location by the operatives after getting wind of their operation.

Sources stated that Ehis has several gangs who do his runs for him. The source added that he was into internet fraud and ATM point robbery.

The source added that, Ehis before his arrest stood at different ATM points in Igando, Ojo, Alaba and Apapa to monitor ATM users, who withdrew money, and that he controlled his gangs, who operate on mostly on motor cycle(okada) to trail the withdrawers and collect the money from them.

After his arrest, about five victims from Computer Village in Ikeja have besieged RRS headquarters to give information about the operation of the gang.

Items recovered from Ehis when he was arrested were a Tecno Cq phone, an LG 3 Phone; One I mobile phone; 2 Wrist watches, a Canon camera Eo87D; 1 neck lace, 1 Sony laptop, a rap of Indian Hemp and an ash colour Altima salon car, with the registration No. APP 493 EH.

A ghastly motor accident has left many injured along Owerri/Onitsha road, Umunoha axis Mbaitoli LGA of Imo state. According to a report by Ifeanyi Njoku, a sienna bus carrying passengers who were going to Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education for their wards' matriculation, had its front tyre busted; which resulted to colliding with other vehicles, leaving scores wounded .

Federal road safety officials and road users gathered to rescue the victims who were taken to the Hospital for medical care.

A mother of two children identified as Mary Salawu has been declared missing after being abducted by unknown men at her home in Asaba, Delta state yesterday. According to a twitter user, the woman is still nursing of a 7 month old baby.

Here's the photo of the childless 38-year-old petty trader, Lovina Odo, who committed suicide by hanging herself with rope tied to a ceiling fan at Umusiome village, Nkpor-agu near Onitsha in Anambra State. Her husband Okechukwu Odo, said he and Lovina had been married for over eight years without a child.
