Mazi Kingsley Mathew Essien, a 17-year-old boy who was killed on 20th of January 2017 during a solidarity rally for Donald Trump in Igwuocha , Rivers state. The member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) -was laid to rest today at his village in Ikono L.G.A, Akwa Ibom state... May his soul rest in peace.

Here's an update from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on the bomb blast along Damboa road, opposite CBN quarters in Maiduguri this morning ....Three suspected suicide bombers died along Damboa Road Maiduguri, Borno state as a result of an explosion which occurred in the early hours of today.

3 petrol Tankers were also burnt as a result of the incident. The fire has been brought under control while casualty evacuation has been concluded.

Early this morning, multiple suicide bomb blasts rocked Damboa road, opposite CBN quarters in Maiduguri, Borno state. According to online reports, the Civilian JTF detonated triple suicide bombers before carrying out their mission. Thick smoke was seen coming out from the scene of blasts.

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu was today arraigned at the Federal High Court Abuja, as court resumed hearing of the case of the IPOB leader alongside his co-defendants- Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawusi and Chidiebere Onwudiwe.

Scores of Biafrans gathered outside the court premises chanting solidarity songs and praying for the victory of Nnamdi Kanu and co-defendants. Military trucks, highly equipped security officials and police dogs have been mounted within and outside the court premises.

The judge handling the case, Hon. Ms Binta Nyako dismissed six count of the eleven count charges preferred against Nnmadi Kanu, as well as three other accused persons for lack of proof of evidence.

Mrs. Toyin Ojora- Saraki, the Wife of the President of the Senate, Founder-President of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa -came to the aid of an elderly hit-and-run road accident victim in Kubwa General Hospital, Abuja. Mrs Saraki donated for the emergency medical care of the accident victim, whose full identity could not be reliably ascertained, and whose family has not been successfully traced.

Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB have gathered once again this morning at Federal High Court Abuja, to witness the court case of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who have been held by the federal government since October 15,2015 over treason and felony charges. Some of the IPOB members donned Jewish apparel to the court.

This is just very sad. A newly wed couple perished in Kyegegwa road accident in Uganda. According to reports, Sedrak Webale and Grace Namatovu have been married for only a week following their traditional wedding. They met their untimely death in the road crash. May their souls rest in peace.

After closed doors brainstorming and policy articulation, Chief Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia led a high powered delegation which includes Prof Charles Soludo, Prof Pat Utomi, Prof Odinta and Other Dignitaries to Kuje prison earlier today for another closed door meeting with Nnamdi kanu which lasted for 2 hours.

The high powered delegation then proceeded to address a press conference in which they demanded the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu.

Jerry Okosun, the son of late musician, Sonny Okosun yesterday at the Victory Chapel, Imo State Govt House manifested the uncommon anointing when he preached the Gospel to the congregation. The impact was so moving that made Governor Rochas Okorocha to support him in his ministration. To that end, the Governor promised him a Car and cash in support to his divine calling.

Today, the Chief of Staff, Imo State government house, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, on behalf of the Rescue Mission Government of Imo State presented A Brand New KIA Car and Cash gift to assist him in his evangelism. This is to enable him respond effectively to his ministration calling.

The Esan born Evangelist from Edo State has served meritoriously in the Rescue Mission Government of Imo State for Years specifically in the Protocol Department.

His late father,Sonny Okosun was born on January 1, 1947 in Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria and died on May 24, 2008 in Washington DC. He was one of the leading Nigerian musician of the late 1970s to the mid 1980s, from Esan in Edo State, in the South-South of Nigeria. He was from the Esan ethnic group.

The Nigerian singer, guitarist and composer Sonny Okosuns, achieved global success in the 1970s and 80s with the highlife-reggae hit Fire in Soweto,
