General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, apostle Johnson Suleman, was pictured on his way to the Department of State Service Headquarters in Abuja. The cleric was invited for interrogation on Monday by 10am, based on his recent alleged inciting comments that Christians should defend themselves against attacks by Fulani herdsmen.

The invitation is coming four days after Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State foiled attempts by the DSS to arrest Suleman in his Hotel room at Ado-Ekiti.

The DSS had reportedly invaded a hotel in Ekiti where Suleman and his team, who were in the state capital for a crusade, were accommodated.

The gruesome killings in Rivers state seem to be on the high rise. Mr. Emmanuel Eluozo, the All Progressives Congress APC Ward 5 Secretary in Ogba Egbema Ndoni LGA of Rivers State -was murdered last night in cold blood right in his home town Obor village by unknown gunmen. He was reportedly hacked to death by his assailants. May his soul rest in peace.

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris arrived London yesterday for meetings with members of the counter terrorism command of the Scotland Yard SO15, according to reports by the Nigerian Police Force.. The meetings are aimed at gaining insights into some of the works which the SO15 is involved in, as well as enhancing the collaboration that exists between the command and the Nigeria Police.

The SO15 is a part of the Metropolitan Police Service Counter Terrorism Command, that works for the protection of London and the UK against the threat of terrorism. Although terrorism is fast loosing tempo in Nigeria, as a result of the steadfastness of the Nigerian security, there are other challenges troubling the Nation, such as kidnapping for ransom, ethnic clashes and politically motivated murders.

Two suicide bomb attacks were foiled in Maiduguri, Borno state. According to National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, the incidents occurred at Usmanti and Kaleri area of Mafa LGA of Borno State. The first attack occurred around 12 am, the suicide bomber was targeting a security outpost in the area but was noticed by the security who shot him and got blown off. No casualty was involved except the male suicide bomber.

While the second one occurred today 25/01/2017 during morning prayer 5:30. This involved two suicide bombers one female and male, they were trying to enter a mosque while prayer was on, but they were spotted on time by Civilian JTF situated there. While they were being accosted, they blew the IED which killed one Civilian JTF and two suicide bombers and Two people were injured.

Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom state has been blasted by some Nigerians after greeting a First class ruler in the manner. The governor was pictured in a handshake with the Paramount Ruler of his Local Government Area(Onna) while putting one of his hands in his pocket.

Some Akwa Ibomites and others have reacted angrily to what they describe as a disrespectful way of greeting a reputable figure.

A Citizen reporter with Sahara Reporters, Segun Olawoye has been arrested by the Police shortly after his graduation. According to Sahara Reporters owner, Omoyele Sowore, his cameraman and UNILAG student activist, Olorunfemi Adeyeye were also detained. They were reportedly stripped, beaten and detained on the "orders of the Police Commissioner of Lagos state, Fatai Owoseni"...
