A thief got more than he bargained for after he was apprehended by residents while on an operation earlier today at Jasmine suite hotel road Kpansia, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.. He was beaten to pulp by an angry mob which descended on him as he reportedly begged for his life. See photos below;

An infamous robber, Don D who had been terrorizing residents and shop owners in Twon-Brass, Bayelsa state -met his end after he was nabbed in the act while raiding a shop. According to reports, the suspected criminal gave up the ghost after he was beaten mercilessly along with his gang members who are now cooling their heels in police net.

A Nigerian business mogul Daniel Okwuchukwu Chinemelum popularly known as FEDAN at Alaba International market has died following a recent fatal accident which saw his car fall off a bridge and plunge into a river. According to people who know him, the businessman died along with his wife. May their souls rest in peace.. His colleagues have taken to their social media pages to mourn him.

A ghastly accident happened few days ago at Uromi expressway, Edo state. A tipper truck rammed into a Sienna car and a motorcycle. According to an eyewitness, no life was lost in the accident. see photos below

The Federal Government has invited the BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) group for day and search sorties for missing Chibok girls to Sambisa Forest. The trip will enable the campaigners to have firsthand information on the efforts being made by the Nigerian military to rescue the girls.

Minister of Information and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed, convener of BBOG, Dr. (Mrs.) Oby Ezekwesili and others are pictured this morning with others as they are about to board a NAF plane to the vast and dreaded region....

The trip, being planned by the military, will see the Ministers of Defence and Information as well the Chief of Air Staff joining the invited BBOG members and a select group of journalists, first to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Command Centre in Yola to witness first-hand the efforts being made to search for the girls by the NAF and then join the day and night sorties with the NAF to the Sambisa Forest.

Troops of 119 Task Force Battalion of 7 Brigade Nigerian Army on Operation LAFIYA DOLE while on mop up and clearance patrol yesterday, came across graves of Boko Haram terrorists that escaped with gun shot wounds and died after an encounter on 13th January 2017 and buried in shallow graves.

Similarly, the troops recovered a 36 Hand Grenade and one 12.7 X 108mm round of ammunition concealed by the terrorists.

The troops have continued their patrols by dominating the general area of Baga, Kangarwa and Dogonchikun with a view to intercepting fleeing Boko Haram terrorists.
