Hafeez6948: After 4½ months of waiting i should withdraw my application. Did you even understand a thing i wrote cuz i dont know where your response is coming from. So me am not strong willed or i dont have grace. I only implied that ppl that might get affected by the delay to have a back up plan. Even if one has faith as big as mount Everest its good practice to have a plan B in life. Nigerians have an abysmal 11.8% visa Approval rating with IRCC i didn't make that up its d stats. Plus its just an opinion. You will get youR PPR soon. That’s for sure. No vex |

Hafeez6948: Omo if person no get mind make him no depend on canada has the only hope to japa, Tell a friend to tell a friend if your time is of the essence try other countries as well, Canada is not the only country with milk and honey. I say this not to discourage anyone but for two reasons 1. I am very certain that most people who have been rejected by IRCC would have easily gotten visa else with the same application documents 2. Its very clear that IRCC especially to under developed countries such as ours, are operating under the mindset of looking for reasons to reject rather than approve , hence the long scrutiny and the very low approval rate.
The canadian dream may still be most enticing but trust me there are other options. I have friends in ireland, norway, uk, Germany and Spain who ar doing extremely well 4 themselves, it mostly depends on your drive rather than d country itself. I myself lived abroad for awhile b4 i came back to do Youth Service so am not just blabbing.
Lets manage this mental torture that we put ourselves through with IRCC. dem no fit understand our struggle, dey are insensitive to us. I am learning the hard way. My father is fed up with me already due to my dogmatic stance to choose canada over uk and ireland cuz i applied to all three 4 admission. God Forbid should incase i have to reapply am not sure anyone in my family will listen to me. Be smart do not put all your eggs in one basket . It’s not too late to withdraw your application to Canada. Go ahead and withdraw and save yourself that stress. Some of us are too strong willed with Faith that can move mountains... I was expecting at the end to see you didn’t apply to Canada or you withdrew and applied to some other country... Our Grace is different! Thank you!!! God has settled it!!! What God cannot do does not exist |

The response tire me... of all PPR I’ve seen here.. I don’t think the percentage of those who listed Police clearance as part of documents are up to 30% |

oppemipo: Greetings famz!
Please I used an agent to book my flight from Lagos to Saskatoon, my mind told me to check the status of my ticket through Egyptair, so I downloaded their App and log in with our details (Myself, wife, and 14 months old toddler )
These are my observations when I log in to verify our tickets
1. The cost of our flight is 2.267m but he charged me 2.796m, that's a tune of 526k just to book a flight
2. He attached my baby to my wife, they both shared the same booking reference code, he charged me 122,000 for the baby but when I check online, I saw one traveler, which is my wife. Has anyone traveled with their toddler and experienced this issue? Does my baby need to have her separate reference or reflect on my wife's ticket?
3. I have contacted the agent, and his explanation of the overcharging aspect was kept aside. He insisted that my baby would reflect if Egyptair check us in.
Please help me with any available information as regards this toddler traveling with her mother.
Thank you I don’t think they charge babies who are less than 5 or they charge barely nothing. Thing is... you are dealing with an agent... there is no way he won’t put his cut for doing the job. This is something you would have done on your own |

Thank you I don’t think your baby was charged. If you look at that app you will see number of adults, children, toddler... Enter details like you want to book and see the amount that comes up. Enter 2 adults and 1 toddler let’s see. |

adeyinkaadetunj: Yes, you can get update without email IRCC. I haven't send a single email since I've applied on April 27 and I keep getting update on my application and now reviewing my eligible, hope to receive my PPR soon.
And Note that too much email annoyed some VO, that's is the reason some application get refused with minor reason. That’s not what he is talking about... he isn’t talking about sending mails to IRCC |

Fativivimat: No two Visa applications are the same. It's best if a police report is submitted. What worked for you may not work for others. Just an advise though...
All the best You said it’s best... please explain why it’s best because this isn’t express entry... and even if you pay fees, it’s not a guarantee... before saying “best”... we should be able to back it up |

I haven’t received any further updates till date, not even ghost updates. Eligibility doesn’t show that it’s started yet. Didn’t do upfront medicals earlier. Tho, I have an appointment soon. You would have done your medicals at least by now PPR might have come. Not withstanding, PPR will come once you do your medicals |

My wife's PPR dropped today.
This is my first time of commenting on this thread, but I got all the guidelines I needed to package her application here.
I want to say a very big thank you to all the major contributors on this thread. I say God bless you all, beyond your expectations.
For those still expectant, God will surely answer your prayers.
My wife submitted her application on April 11th. That was the only time they sent any notification to her, before the PPR message dropped today.
God is wonderful. Wow!! Glory!! Congratulations to her... i am next in line |

johnstan: They will transmit it to IRCC within 5 - 10 business days thats within a week or two, however, you can still forward the medical e-information sheet/receipt you were given after your tests as a proof to them via mail or webform.
You can mail QLife to request for your results, you don't necessarily need to go physically. IOM sent mine to me via mail.
Good luck Please i need the IOM mail... let me also request for mine. Thanks |
