ME i just believe i would come back here to give my testimony of being selected for the MSc OSS cos i don talk to my God about it.
I actually just wanted the guy to clear the air so that we dont get into confusion again for this house.

In fact by the Special grace of God, i recently just got my Visa for a funded masters program in Canada so no POOING!!!
Its all a testimony of Gods mercy.

But its also a must for me to testify about the PTDF Scholarship too!!!

He jst said, writing materials and money from material and their constitution.. Aren't they suppose to provide this for free to their employees? @malaito, I salute ur courage. Not everyone can boldly come online here to pen down his/her views. U made ur point clear, and I cnt criticize ur use of words because no one is perfect.. Even me wey dey type now sef I dey fear make I no make mistake..

A classmate of mine whose Grammatic expression is nothing to write home about, Sat for PTDF scholarship exams last year, and as I'm talking to u now, he is studying in the UK. He wasn't d smartest in class, he speaks no good English but yet he got the scholarship.. When someone makes a mistake correct him, it'll go a long way in helping him... I wish everyone here hoping on God for the award, the best of luck..

Let me say this here to probably encourage someone. Last week, I received an e-mail from a Professor in a UK University. I applied for admission there and surprisingly I was admitted. The school is quite difficult to get into. I hoped to get funding as they received generous funding from their alumni. I couldn't get. The Professor's e-mail was straight to the point 'I am contacting you because you're on of the few students joining the xxxxx research group, of which I'm the leader. Are you enrolling this October ?'

No funds to pay for a minimum of three years school fees. Besides, I am one of those who believes a good PhD should be funded. I told him I would love to but funding is the issue. He arranged a Skype meeting with me which turned out to be an interview. On the said day, he and another Professor were present. It was a firing section. Lol. Those kind of simple questions that you believe you are supposed to know but you don't have a direct answer. One of the questions - Why are horinzontal axis wind turbines usually white in colour ?
Without thinking, I said for visibility. Lol. It turned out to be nearly correct.

The pseudo-interview ended and the Professor told me to expect an update in 24 hours. In summary, I have received a fully funded PhD offer (With some conditions which are okay ).
Brethren, never give up. My interview with PTDF didn't go well. The panel obviously didn't like my area of renewable energy (And I wasn't ready to change It before the interview either.). Surprisingly, everything has worked together for good. It is still like a dream to me. I wish everyone good luck with the expected outcome from PTDF. Don't give up even if things don't go as planned.
