Yes Ronaldo missed a couple of chances but it's fair to say he was starved of quality service throughout the tournament. The midfielders failed to deliver quality crosses, passes down the middle, and would rather most times pass back and begin the attack all over again from the back.
Then there's the wingers who for certain reasons failed to look up playing the passes which ended up not going in the direction of Ronaldo.

Ronaldo's time is up and should definitely call it quits. ETH don't know what to do with CR7, it's power play. He was brought to stir Manutd to a new era and to do that, he has to implant his authority on the team.
